I read a criminal court case (from about 1 year ago) of someone from Norway who downloaded/uploaded real cp with the Tor software.....and the police still managed to trace the ip address of his downloads/uploads very easily, and he got arrested as a result. I remember reading a case from the early 2010s of someone using Tor to upload real cp on the dark web, and the police still managed to track down his uploads extremely easily.....and this was over 10 years ago....remember these guys were just re-uploading pre-existing cp images and videos, these weren't new images they were uploading......and the police still managed to track down their ip address very easily, even though they were using Tor to hide their ip address.
Tor is a low-latency anonymity network. It was never designed to protect you from a nation-state level adversary, like the FBI or other law enforcements. Tor is the only anonymity network available, and even it is NOT safe for accessing illegal content.....the vast majority of CSAM websites are probably government honeypots.....

the fact he got arrested means this content is still illegal to access in Norway.....like I said, no intelligent person installs Tor....the vast majority of illegal real cp content is on the surface web which is the only relatively safe way to access it. Only an idiot uses Tor to access cp.....installing Tor exponentially increases your chances of getting arrested for cp.....his life is still ruined because this sort of content is illegal in every country.....here in Canada, this real cp content is a very very serious crime to download....
