I partly agree with this post and I already do some parts of larping like it's still 2000s or older:
- Only using smartphone as portable PC and for important stuff like phone calls, calculator, checking my bank account etc
- No social media (besides twitter which I use only as lurker for my favorite artists that don't share their art anywhere else)
- Not watching any movies and tv series (besides anime ones), even old ones (with few exceptions) since many of them are full with merchantish propaganda
- Not watching and rarely reading the news and current events unless my friends and relatives talk about them
- Not opening the tv unless it's an android tv or have an android box plugged in or using it for gaming consoles
- Drastically limiting my time wasting on YouTube (besides stuff like watching old favorite shows of mine, checking video games walkthroughs of games I'm playing etc) and be subscribed in less than 5 channels
- avoid bait threads and posts at 4chan (at least as much as possible)
- Not playing any modern games or generally games released from early - mid 2010s' and after (with few exceptions), "indie" games included
I still have a long way of course like stop using 4chan (except maybe 4chan archives for specific topics)
Not using smartphone (personally I prefer calling them Android phones since they're anything but smart) is retarded since they're much more convenient than old school phones. Also not using Android phone is meaningless while you're still addicted with PC and you still use your PC for stupid, useless stuff like yelling at people at forums and chat rooms for the most retarded reasons and downloading countless media you will never listen to/play/watch/read.
