first time posting, so maybe i'm doing something wrong/posting in the wrong board, tell me if so.

So, I live in France, in its capital to be more accurate, and something ticked me off in history class.

We were covering the korean war, and our teacher was talking about the stalemate.

Seeing no mention about China, I asked "didn't China intervene?"

He simply said "no, they were busy with the Kuomintang, they never did anything in the korean war".

Being the 14 years old I was, I knew I should just shut up.

So, as much as our government is completely offwheel, still, why would they do that?

I've been thinking about it for way too long, why would they censor such an important element of the war? For which reason?

I've wrapped my head around it for very long. Anyone knows why would they censor such an important player?

Help out a lost anon

This isn't a conspiracy your teacher is just genuinely retarded, China itself has admitted it sent volunteer fighters to support the DPRK.

More importantly you should start researching the countless American war crimes committed during the war and how they totally stopped the grassroots democracy forming across the entire Korean peninsula before installing a puppet government.

They STILL have wartime control over the South Korean military to this day, the DPRK is not what they are telling you. It's a nationalist government fighting for all Korean people's interests.
