IBM was the original computer that needed a disk operating system. (DOS) CPM was actually are really elegant solution at the time. kpro andother computer companies were using it quite successfully. Mr. Gates saw the success and decided to destroy CPM. Gates has always played the role of a tech guru but he merely saw trends and purchased, stole or copied successful technology.
