=Man Arrested For Stealing Monkeys==

Dallas police said they have arrested a man in connection with the two Emperor Tamarin monkeys that were taken from the Dallas Zoo.

Davion Irvin, 24, was arrested by Dallas police on Thursday and has been booked into Dallas County Jail. He is being held on $25,000 bail, and is facing five counts of animal cruelty.

Dallas Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying the pictured individual. Detectives are looking to speak with the man in regard to the two tamarin monkeys missing from the Dallas Zoo.

The Dallas police had previously released a picture of the suspect, although they did not name him as such, only that they were interested in speaking with him about the case.

We cannot thank the Dallas PD enough for their quick response and assistance in locating the tamarins. We are pleased that video from our surveillance cameras – which we shared with DPD – seems to have been critical in generating a tip that led to the recovery of the tamarins.

A tip had been called in following the release of the photo, which led the police to recover the two missing monkeys from the closet of an empty house in Lancaster. However, the individual from the photo was not at the house.

Then the police department received another tip that the man was at the Dallas World Aquarium, near the animal exhibits.

Police arrived on scene as Irvin was boarding a train, they picked him at the 1400 block of Pacific Avenue and took him in for questioning.

DPD located the animals early this evening, and called our team to come secure and transport the tamarins back to the Zoo. The monkey case was the fourth incident to happen at the Dallas so far in 2023. Earlier in January, a clouded leopard had escaped her enclosure, afterwards police had discovered that the enclosure had been intentionally cut.

Zoo staff found a similar cut on the langur monkeys enclosure the next day. Then the zoo had labeled the death of an endangered vulture as suspicious do to an “unusual” wound they had found.

State officials reportedly began looking into "Dissident Homeschool" after anti-fascist watchdog group Anonymous Comrades Collective highlighted its activities, according to The Hill.

Katja and Logan Lawrence operate the network, which they claim to have created due to difficulties finding "Nazi-approved" materials with which to educate their children.

The pair used the online pseudonyms of Mr. and Mrs. Saxon, though relatives of the Lawrences confirmed their identities in the aftermath of the initial report from the Anonymous Comrades Collective. Katja Lawrence is an immigrant from The Netherlands, according to the Times of Israel. The pair reside in Upper Sandusky.

State officials have thoroughly condemned the homeschooling network, which reported has thousands of subscribers on its telegram channel. However, the Ohio Board of Education has minimal oversight over homeschooling.

Upper Sandusky Exempted Village Schools Superintendent Eric Landversicht wrote in a letter to the community that parents homeschooling their children bear responsibility for the curriculum, per the outlet.

Suspected Chinese spy balloon reaches Kansas: GOP Sen. Marshall

The suspected Chinese spy balloon is has now reached Kansas and Nebraska, according to Republican Kansas Sen. Roger Marshall.

"I can confirm the Chinese spy ballon [sic] is over NE KS. My staff is in contact with law enforcement officials," the lawmaker tweeted on Friday. "I condemn any attempts the Chinese make to spy on Americans. President Biden must protect the sovereignty of the U.S. whether it’s our airspace or the southern border."

It is unclear from Marshall's statement whether the balloon has entered Kansas airspace.

The balloon entered the U.S. via the Aleutian Islands chain of Alaska, before entering Canada and reentering U.S. territory in the skies over Montana, officials confirmed Thursday.

For the balloon to have reached Nebraska or Kansas, it likely first passed through either Wyoming or South Dakota. The Pentagon has declined to update the public in real time on the location of the balloon.

In a heated exchange, a Pentagon spokesman declined on Friday to specify the balloon's exact location. When a reporter pressed him on the public's right to know the location of the balloon, the spokesman indicated that "the public certainly has the ability to look up in the sky and see where the balloon is."

Article III Project founder and President Mike Davis says he doubts House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan will hold Big Tech accountable for its abuse of power for colluding with the federal government.

"Jim Jordan has no intention of actually holding big tech accountable," Davis said on the Wednesday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.

"He pretends like he is fighting against Big Tech, but behind the scenes he's making these key decisions like opposing bipartisan reforms last Congress and appointing someone who is pro Big Tech."

It was recently announced that Rep. David Cicilline (D-R.I.) and Rep. Ken Buck (R-Col.) teamed up together to create a new Congressional Antitrust Caucus to crack down on Big Tech and its abuse of power.

According to Davis, Congressman Buck championed six bipartisan antitrust bills that got through the House regarding Big Tech, but that GOP leadership, such as House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Jordan, were of no help and seemed to be against it.

"The problem is that House Republican leadership is too beholden to Big Tech," Davis stated. "They take too much of Big Tech's money, their staff has a revolving door with Big Tech, their advisors have a revolving door with Big Tech and they do Big Tech's bidding."

Davis specifically accused Rep. Jordan of doing bidding for Big Tech.

"I don't think Jim Jordan's even trying to hide it anymore that he is doing Big

Tech's bidding."
