To seize further control of people’s lives, Globalists are pushing the false idea that these cities will “save the planet” and help all of humanity.

Fifteen-minute cities are popping up everywhere, and the World Economic Forum is wildly enthusiastic about them. Last year it was announced that Paris, France, would become a 15-minute city, and now the British city of Oxford is next. However, outraged Brits are fighting back.

As reported previously at RAIR Foundation USA, the city council has announced that it will divide Oxford into 15-minute neighborhoods or small 15-minute towns billed as “greener, cleaner and safer.” To further seize control of people’s lives, Globalists are pushing the false idea that these “green” cities, which make services accessible to residents within 15 minutes of their homes, will “save the planet” and help all humanity.

Instead, they are nothing more than a way for them to restrict, coerce, fine, punish, surveil, and limit the fundamental right of freedom of movement for residents. For example, residents are not allowed to leave your 15-minute city by car more than the allotted times a year. Otherwise, you will be fined. In addition, the government will track and control your every movement through your smartphones & facial recognition technology.

Climate lockdown

The “15-minute city” concept is crucial in the United Nations Agenda 2030 and their Net Zero green agenda. The World Economic Forum is also pushing this new concept. Oxford, which has declared a ‘climate emergency,’ is hoping their 15-minute cities will help achieve the Council’s ‘Net Zero carbon Oxford’ vision by 2040.”

As early as 2024, Oxford plans to impose “climate lockdowns” on residents to help achieve the Council’s ‘Net Zero carbon Oxford’ vision by 2040.” The “15-minute city” concept is also crucial for the United Nations Agenda 2030. And not surprisingly, the World Economic Forum is also pushing the idea.

Oxford will be divided into six zones ‘to save the planet’ from “global warming.” Electronic fences are placed on access roads to ensure residents remain within their own zone.

Residents are allowed to leave their 15-minute city a maximum of 100 times a year, but then they must first register their car, which is tracked throughout the city via smart cameras.

While the initial allotment of escape tickets may seem reasonable to some, once the public accepts that the state has the right to confine you, it is guaranteed that they will add additional restrictions and fewer permits to leave your zone. This was established very clearly and quickly in many Western nations in the past few years under the rubric of Covid restrictions.

Over two years after the 2020 presidential election, the final batch of ballots were counted again, this time by hand, early Wednesday afternoon.

There were 59,481 ballots within the official results from the election that were counted, according to Forrest Lehman, director of Voter Services.

“It took a little over two days to get through the batches once, and then the additional time was spent today, Wednesday, (going) back through some of the batches a second time because the first time that they were looked at; we had some number discrepancies…,” Lehman said.

So, did counting by hand add the element of accuracy those who petitioned for it sought?

According to Lehman, not so much.

“One of the things I learned at least as a result of this is that I don’t believe the hand count added any value to the process. If anything, it injected additional human error,” he said.

“I know that the people out there who requested this don’t trust the machines, but when we release the results, it’s going to show that they’re very close and that the variations that we will have discovered would have been discoverable much more quickly, much more easily by a regular machine recount,” he said.

Lehman anticipates sending out a media release within the next day or two to state what the results were compared to the original official certified results from 2020 and what were the net changes in vote totals for the two races.

After that initial announcement, there would be a board of elections meeting where there would be more time to present more detail to the public, Lehman said.

Although he has not spoken with any of the people who had requested the recount as the process draws to an end, Lehman offered his opinion on what it has shown.

“To me, it confirms what I knew all along. Somebody asked me once, why do you have faith in the voting system? It’s not faith,” he said. “It’s a belief based on evidence that, in fact, we test this equipment before every election. We do audits after every election. When we’ve done statewide recounts those numbers stay close. They stay accurate.”

HAMTRAMCK, Mich. (AP) — Residents of a Detroit-area community with a large Muslim population can sacrifice animals at home for religious reasons.

The Hamtramck City Council explicitly approved the practice, 3-2, Tuesday, another step in recognizing a cultural shift in a city whose 20th century history was shaped by Polish immigrants.

Muslims often slaughter animals, typically goats or sheep, or pay someone to do it for them during the holy holiday of Eid al-Adha. Meat is shared with family, friends and the poor.

The Hamtramck council in December had voted to continue a ban on animal slaughter but reversed course, at least for religious reasons, after legal advice and objections from people who follow the Islamic faith, the Detroit Free Press reported.

“If somebody wants to do it, they have a right to do their practice,” council member Mohammed Hassan said.

Dawud Walid, director of the Michigan branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said “it’s not something new or novel.”

“This is when Muslims recognize Abraham sacrificing a sheep instead of having to sacrifice his son,” Walid said, referring to the passage in the Quran and Old Testament.

Hamtramck residents will be required to notify the city, pay a fee and make their property available for inspection.

Hamtramck has a population 28,000. More than half of the residents are of Yemeni or Bangladeshi descent, the Free Press said.

Numerous sheriffs across Illinois are refusing to enforce the state's ban on semiautomatic weapons, signed into law by Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker, who threatened those who dared to dissent.

The law bans the sale, manufacture, and possession of semiautomatic weapons in the state, leading guns rights advocates to accuse lawmakers of acting unconstitutionally.

Some sheriffs responded by saying they will refuse to enforce the law.

"Part of my duties that I accepted upon being sworn into office was to protect the rights provided to all of us, in the Constitution," wrote Sheriff Nicholas M. Petitgout the residents of McDonough County.

"One of those enumerated rights is the right of the people to keep and bear arms provided under the 2nd Amendment," he added. "Therefore, as the custodian of the jail and chief law enforcement official for McDonough County, that neither myself nor my office will be checking to ensure that lawful gun owners register their weapons with the State, nor will we be arresting or housing law abiding individuals that have been charged solely with non-compliance of this Act."

WGN-TV reported that 13 sheriffs issued similar proclamations of defiance, including those of the counties of Stephenson, Ogle, Lee, Knox, LaSalle, Logan, Dewitt, Kankakee, Grundy, and Winnebago.

Pritzker responded by threatening law enforcement officers who didn't enforce the law.

"There are of course people who want to politically grandstand, who want to make a name for themselves by claiming that they will not comply, but the reality is that the state police's response will for enforcement, as will all law enforcement all across this state," he said at a media briefing.

"And they will in fact do their job," he added, "or they won't be in their job."

Republicans also denounced the law and said it would make felons out of otherwise law-obeying taxpayers.

"These commonly owned semi-automatic firearms are used countless times every year to save lives and deter crime," read a statement from the Gun Owners of America.

"Banning them will only prevent law-abiding citizens from purchasing the best firearm to defend themselves," they added. "Not to mention, the requirement to register currently owned firearms is vehemently unconstitutional."

Former Barclays and JP Morgan exec Jes Staley is accused of being an operative in late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's sex ring, after thousands of emails between the two reveal a 'profound friendship,' a lawsuit claims.

The filing was made in an an amended complaint Tuesday by the US Virgin Islands, which had previously sued JPMorgan over the bank's ties to Epstein. Staley worked at JPMorgan until 2013.

'Between 2008 and 2012, Staley exchanged approximately 1,200 emails with Epstein from his JP Morgan email account,' the amendment alleges. During that time, the bank 'serviced approximately 55 Epstein-related accounts collectively worth hundreds of millions of dollars.'

Staley, 66, had quit Barclays in November 2021 after the bank's board said it was 'disappointed' with the outcome of a report into his links to convicted sex offender Epstein.

'These communications show a close personal relationship and 'profound' friendship between the two men and even suggest that Staley may have been involved in Epstein's sex-trafficking operation,' the amendment continues. '

They also reveal that Staley corresponded with Epstein while Epstein was incarcerated and visited Epstein's Virgin Islands residence on multiple occasions,' according to The Daily Beast.

The US Virgin Islands' suit also claims that Staley was allowed 'to remain a decision-maker on Epstein's accounts' and even asked to discuss the historical, sordid sex trafficking and human trafficking allegations against him.

In addition, JPMorgan allegedly would make payments to 'numerous women with Eastern European surnames who were publicly and internally identified as Epstein recruiters,' including a $600,000 payment to one Jane Doe who the pedophile purchased when she was just 14 years old.

The complaint goes on to say that Hyperion Air, who owned Epstein's infamous 'Lolita Express' private jet, also issued hundreds of thousands of dollars in checks payable to cash for fuel expenses.

'Many of these cash withdrawals either exceeded the $10,000 reporting threshold or were seemingly structured to avoid triggering the reporting requirement,' the lawsuit claims. 'This is particularly significant since it is well known that Epstein paid his victims in cash.'

Epstein is accused of misusing JPMorgan accounts for nonprofit organizations and used it to pay associates like Les Wexner, as well as ex-girlfriends.

Australian Cardinal George Pell - who was convicted then acquitted of child sex abuse - will not be offered a state funeral in his home state to avoid distress for victims of abuse, the state's premier says.

Mr Andrews also said he was unlikely to attend the cleric's funeral.

Officials in New South Wales, where the Cardinal served as Archbishop of Sydney, have also said they will not offer the honour, local media report.

Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has also declined to say whether he will attend the cardinal's funeral.

During a career spanning six decades, he worked his way through the ranks of the Church in Victoria, serving as Archbishop of both Melbourne and then Sydney, before he became one of the Pope's top aides.

He was summoned to Rome in 2014 to clean up the Vatican's finances, and was often described as the Church's third-ranked official.

But the cleric left his post in 2017, returning to Australia to face trial on child sex abuse charges.

A jury in 2018 found he had abused two boys while Archbishop of Melbourne in the 1990s.

Cardinal Pell, who always maintained his innocence, spent 13 months in prison before the High Court of Australia quashed the verdict in 2020, finding the jury had not properly considered all the evidence at his trial.

Even before he faced charges, the cleric was a lightning rod for anger in Australia over the Church's failure to tackle the child sex abuse crisis.

A landmark inquiry found that he knew of child sexual abuse by priests in Australia as early as the 1970s but failed to take action, something he says is "not supported by evidence".

The cleric also faced criticism as an architect of the Australian Church's first victim compensation scheme, which survivors say was designed to protect the Church from large payouts and lacked empathy.

Republicans see new reason to investigate Joe Biden

The US president may have mishandled classified documents, Senator Lindsey Graham has said

Republicans have urged US Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel to investigate the possible mishandling of government records by President Joe Biden. The appeal came after a number of classified files were found in Biden’s former office, which he used while serving as vice president between 2009 and 2017.

Lindsey Graham, a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, argued that Garland should initiate a probe similar to the ongoing investigation of former President Donald Trump.

“I think if you believe a special counsel is necessary to assure the public about the handling of classified documents by Donald Trump, you should apply a special counsel to the mishandling of classified documents by President Biden when he was vice president,”the Republican senator told Fox News.

Senator Josh Hawley also called for investigating Biden. “It can’t be that we have two tiers of justice in this country. It can’t be that there’s one rule for Republicans and a different rule for Democrats,” he said while appearing on Fox News. “The Democrats say they’re all for equity. Well, what’s equitable here is that there be a special counsel.”

The White House acknowledged on Monday that “a small number” of classified documentswere discovered in Biden’s former office in Washington in November. According to US media, Garland appointed prosecutor John R. Lausch Jr. to conduct an initial inquiry into the matter.

A number of US news outlets cited sources on Wednesday as saying that Biden’s aides had discovered at least one additional batch of classified documents at a separate location related to the president.

Biden said on Tuesday thathe was “surprised”when learning about the discovery.

“I don’t know what’s in the documents,” the president told reporters during his trip to Mexico.

The incident immediately drew comparisons to the similar allegations against Trump. FBI agents raided the former president’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida in August, retrieving troves of government records, which included classified materials. Garland eventually appointed prosecutor Jack Smith as special counsel to investigate Trump in connection to the documents, as well as the 2021 US Capitol riot in Washington.

Outgoing presidents must return all presidential records to the government because they are considered the property of the American people. The official records of former presidents are stored in the National Archive.

Trump, however, denied mishandling classified documents. “When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House? These documents were definitely not declassified,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account on Monday.

US lawmakers slam 'insane' Zelensky bust proposal

Republican congressmen claim the idea plays into the “worship” of the foreign leader

Conservative US lawmakers critical of the adulation of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky have rallied against a proposal to place a bust of the foreign leader in the Capitol building in Washington. US RepresentativeJoe Wilson has suggested making a Zelensky statue a permanent feature.

Wilson, a Republican from South Carolina, made a proposal on Monday to direct the Fine Arts Board to obtain a bust “for display in a suitable, permanent location in the House of Representatives wing of the United States Capitol.”

Some members of the GOP’s Freedom Caucus, which includes a conservative minority opposing unconditional support for Ukraine, expressed skepticism. Andy Biggs of Arizona, one of its leading members, asked whether Congress allocating over $100 billion in aid to Ukraine was “not enough.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia said she was “absolutely not” approving the idea, adding that US lawmakers were serving “America not Ukraine.”

Popular conservative talk show host Tucker Carlson branded the idea “insane,” telling viewers that Zelensky is a “dictatorial” politician who banned opposition parties in his country and is currently cracking down on a Christian denomination. Having a bust of Zelensky at the Capitol would allow Americans to “worship him daily,” he joked.

Carlson lamented the fact that the proposal came from a Republican and called Wilson “a pretty nice guy.” The congressman is a vocal supporter of Kiev. He led a bipartisan House delegation on a visit to Kiev in December. He also sponsored a resolution urging the US government to suspend Russia from the UN Security Council, which it has no authority to do.

Zelensky received a hero’s welcome when he flew to Washington last month. Some officials, including then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, compared him to Winston Churchill, Britain’s leader during World War II.

Last year, the US Congress approved requests for over $100 billion in spending related to Ukraine, with a large portion of it going to weapons procurement. Zelensky’s visit happened as the Congress was debating a $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill, which included $45 billion for Ukraine assistance.

Mayor Muriel Bowser is heading to Beijing and Shanghai on a mission next week to increase investment and create new deals across the city

The trip is scheduled for November 7-14. Her entourage will include government officials such as Ward 2 Council member Jack Evans and Brian Kenner, deputy mayor for planning and economic development, plus representatives from Georgetown University, Children’s Medical Center,Federal City Council,DC Chamber of Commerce,Greater Washington Board of Trade,Destination DC, and nearly three dozen others from the private and non-profit sector.

German tank deliveries for Ukraine hinge on US – Politico

Berlin has been reluctant to supply Kiev with Leopard 2 panzers without allied support

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will follow US President Joe Biden’s lead on whether to support Kiev with Leopard 2 main battle tanks to help in its fight against Russia, Politico reported on Wednesday, citing anonymous sources.

The UK announced that it would provide Ukraine with main battle tanks, and Poland said it would transfer a company of Leopard 2 panzers to Kiev “as part of coalition building.” Berlin, however, has yet to greenlight Poland’s re-export of the hardware.

According to two unnamed German officials, Scholz’s position on the matter “depended heavily” on Biden. In a joint statement last week, both leaders announced that Washingtonwould donate Bradley infantry fighting vehicles to Kiev, and Berlin would send a batch of Marder IVFs and a Patriot air defense system.

Commenting on the UK’s initiative to supply Ukraine with tanks, the German government spokesman said that “there is no change in the situation now because of the step that the British government has announced.” He added that he was not aware of any requests from allies to send Leopard battle tanks to Ukraine.

In recent weeks, Germany has faced mounting pressure to provide Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks, but has been reluctant to do so, with Scholz arguing that no other NATO country has sent this type of tank to Ukraine, and Germany should not be the first. He added that such moves should be coordinated with allies.

A president may succeed him or her self, there are no term limits, and most presidents serve several years.
