US President Joe Biden last week said that the monkeypox virus was of high concern for his administration (he backtracked on that later), even though so far only 250 cases were detected in Europa and North America.
Given that many monkeypox cases are simultaneously popping up in different countries, most of them in the Western hemisphere, questions are raised whether the onset of yet another viral infection that could scare the public is related to the upcoming Midterm elections. As was seen during the 2020 Presidential Election cycle as well, the spread of an infectious disease tends to favor the Democratic electorate to go out and vote in droves.
Furthermore, monkeypox is related to the smallpox virus (which is stored in laboratories worldwide) and as such could have been released on the public as a sort of bioweapon in order to regain control and scare the electorate.
In essence, many are claiming that a bioweapon spread strategy, which first popped up in a QAnon origin book, Ghostwriting for QAnon (see Amazon, which gives a chronological overview of the rise of 4Chan, 8Chan and 8Kun and all the conspiracy theories that have since surfaced on those sites), was used again in order to allow the Democratic party in the US to gain the upper hand in the upcoming Midterm elections.
