Death by fire

…That’s why a sizable number of the protesters who ended up at Kulikovo knew an attack was coming. Someone suggested taking cover in the massive Trade Unions building on the square, and people began to move their belongings from the camp into the building. They set up an improvised first aid station there, brought in supplies and built a small barricade in front of the building. They also had a couple of hunting rifles and a few Molotov cocktails. Davidchenko then left the square. Aleksey Albu, a low-level local politician, stayed in the building. At the time, he was not the kind who would be eager to participate in any fighting. In fact, he had learned about the clashes from the news.

The Trade Unions House had around 300 people inside that evening.

At 7:20 pm, the angry Euromaidan crowd entered the square. They moved through the abandoned camp and started throwing Molotov cocktails at the barricade in front of the Trade Unions building. Those inside responded by lobbing a few Molotov cocktails back at the attackers from the roof. It was then that a reporter who was filming everything said, “Now, they’ll definitely kill them.”

The attackers kept throwing rocks and improvised bombs at the barricade, which mostly consisted of wooden furniture and crates, and finally set it on fire. The protesters behind it retreated into the hall of the building. Later, many reports exaggerated the scope of the resistance put up by those in the Trade Unions building…

The barricade was in flames and the attackers had set fire to the tents on the square. The whole square was full of smoke and flames. The attackers continued to hurl cocktail bombs filled with a home-made napalm mixture consisting of gasoline, acetone, and Styrofoam at the building. The holed-up protesters called the fire brigade, but no one came. The few policemen on the scene did nothing to interfere and just watched as the events unfolded.

The attackers made sure the fire didn’t die out, throwing more and more cocktail bombs into it. They even tossed in a burning car tire, while firing at the windows with anti-riot guns.

Then tragedy struck.

Independent expert Vladislav Balisnsky explained that the fire raging at the building’s entrance ignited the paint and varnish on the hall’s walls and ceiling. The burning entrance door collapsed, and the window panes were broken one by one by gunfire, creating a powerful draft.. The resulting chimney effect turned the central staircase into a huge incinerator, with temperatures at the center rising to 600–700 degrees Celsius. The fire spread nearly instantly and everything that could burn was consumed in the fire. The people in the vicinity were essentially burnt alive…

A total of 48 people died: two Maidan activists and 46 Kulikovo Field Anti-Maidan protesters – two on Grecheskaya Street, and 42 at Kulikovo Field Square. Eight people jumped from the building to their deaths, while others suffocated or died from burns. All were citizens of Ukraine. A total of 247 people requested medical help following the incident, of whom 27 had been wounded by gunfire…

In the following years, not a single person responsible for the killings in Odessa was punished in any way. Many of the murderers acted openly, wearing no masks or disguises, and were very straightforward about their intentions….

From the very beginning, the authorities in Odessa seemed to deliberately obstruct the investigation. No attempt was made to preserve the crime scene….UN Special Rapporteur Christof Heyns acknowledged that the bulk of the evidence relating to the May 2 events was destroyed immediately after the crime….

Alexander Topilov, an Odessa musician and Euromaidan supporter, wrote a few days after the tragic events:

“…there were boys born in 1994. There were young girls, university professors, mechanics. I don’t know. Not all were quick enough to jump. Not all survived the landing. It’s not a victory, like hell it is! Don’t cheer us. I saw some exalted comments. Who the f*ck wants a victory like that? And who can even call it a victory? That’s a f*cking fiasco. It’s civil war. Odessa residents at each other’s throats. Who’s the winner here? I don’t need victories like that, the f*ck I do. Some people are like animals and some beasts are humane, that’s what I’m talking about. The line between ‘us’ and ‘them’. I lost mine on May 2. I don’t know where to draw it. I see people. And I see animals. Animals on my side, people against me….

I largely agree with those sentiments.

I included that anon's graphic since my graphic on the right basically builds on it.

@q replied to Trump's "return" post with a delta of 2:09.

Now think this out very carefully.

Suppose @q is a LARP.

Maybe he always has his phone handy and has the alarm set for when DJT posts.

If so, he could surely jam out a reTruth in about two minutes (or less), so the quick reply doesn't mean much.

But he nails a very nice delta TO THE SECOND.

Q used to pretend they couldn't do "second" deltas, but that was mostly when he was pretending to be some dude with a phone on AF1, cranking out posts as he ran after Trump.

I think this whole op is way more complicated than that, and they seem able to do second deltas (even 3 second Dan… see next post).

Does this mean we should regard TS@q as Q?

NO! The choice between LARP or Q is a false dichotomy. (Tucker just complained about that term, so sorry Tucker, it has uses.)

I am sure that Q team is perfectly able to do a proper Q post, and I am inclined to think it will happen at some point.

But right now they are putting out TS@q

The evidence on this has piled up pretty high now, if you have been paying attention.

This doesn't mean that every anon should jump on it, especially if you are doing useful stuff.

But I think that for anons especially interested in decodes, there is liable to be much more to be found.

Maybe the TS@q posts will "unlock" further stuff.

As for anons who remain skeptical or don't care, that is perfectly fine.

I myself did not "jump on" Q at the very start and found it very dubious as I thought Trump was supposed to be kicking ass.

Auditor Geels: After Georgia Election Was Stolen – Secretary of State Raffensperger Still Refuses to Address Lawsuit on Irregularities of 2020 Election

Corrupt Fulton County Georgia DA Fani Willis, called a grand jury to determine whether President Trump should be punished for claiming the Georgia election in 2020 was fraudulent and stolen. On Monday a grand jury was selected to look at President Trump’s already call with Secretary of State Raffensperger that was debunked a year ago.

This political attack on President Trump comes the same week the documentary “2000 Mules” is set for release. The movie will provide definitive proof that President Trump was correct in saying the 2020 election in Georgia was fraudulent. The movie exposes a vast conspiracy of ballot traffickers in the state of Georgia who stole the 2020 election.

The ultimate problem with Fani’s case against Trump is that the call in question was a completely legitimate phone call. President Trump called Raffensperger to encourage him to look into the mounds of corruption in the election. The President went through a list of questions about the election that showed obvious fraudulent acts in the state.

Raffensperger has never responded to the President’s questions and queries. He has never looked at the evidence President Trump discussed on the call proving the 2020 Election in Georgia never should have been certified and given to Joe Biden.

Bryan Geels, a certified auditor, identified nearly 100,000 ballots that should not have been included in the 2020 Election in Georgia. Secretary of State Raffensperger discounted Geels’s results, certified the election results for Job Biden with a 10,000 voter margin even though the standard of proof in an election contest in Georgia is doubt.

In the presentation with Garland Favorito at VoterGA in February, 2022, Bryan Geels discussed his findings. Mr. Geels was hired by the Trump team in Georgia to review the results of the 2020 Election in that state. The Trump team sued the Georgia Secretary of State who certified the fraudulent results.

Geels prepared a report where he identified 100,000 ballots that should not have been included in the 2020 audit. Below is the report prepared by Geels. In his report, (on page 35) Geels supplied a summary of 97,382 ballots that should not have been included in the state’s results. Geels obtained the data used in his audit from the Georgia Secretary of State’s website.

Supreme Court Rules 9-0 Boston Violated Constitution To Refuse Christian Flag

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously on Monday that the city of Boston violated the Constitution when it refused to allow a local organization fly a Christian flag in front of city hall.

“While the case had religious overtones, the decision was fundamentally about free speech rights. The court said the city created a public forum, open to all comers when it allowed organizations to use a flagpole in front of City Hall for commemorative events. Denying the same treatment for the Christian flag was a violation of free expression, the court said,” NBC News reported.

“The ruling was a victory for a group called Camp Constitution, which says part of its mission is ‘to enhance understanding of the country’s Judeo-Christian heritage.’ The group wanted to raise a flag bearing a Latin cross during a one-hour event that would include speeches about Boston’s history from local clergy,” the report added.

The city of Boston claimed that allowing a Christian flag to fly on a flagpole often used by community groups is a government endorsement of religion.

Lawyers for Harold Shurtleff, whose 2017 request to fly a Christian flag was denied, cited that in the 12 years before his request, not one of the 284 proposed events was denied by the city.

“‘The flagpole that stands prominently at the city’s seat of government is the means by which the city communicates its own messages,’ Boston’s lawyers told the Supreme Court. The city uses it as a bully pulpit and has not turned it over ‘to private parties as a forum to pronounce their own messages,’” the outlet reported.

Shockingly enough, the American Civil Liberties Union has come out against banning the flag.

“When the government opens its public property for private speakers, it has to treat everybody equally,” said David Cole, ACLU national legal director. “This case is really about private citizens’ access to government property to express themselves. And that access is critical to our ability to speak to each other, to express our views and the like.”

The Anti-Defamation League, however, sided with the city.

“The value to such groups of the ‘photo op’ of a Nazi flag, the Confederate flag, or some other white supremacist banner flying over Boston City Hall should not be underestimated,” the group said.

Shurtleff made his request as part of Camp Constitution, which he founded and which has as part of its mission “to enhance understanding of the country’s Judeo-Christian heritage.”

The flag he wants to fly is a cross in a blue square on a white field.

“It’s a public access flagpole,” Shurtleff told ABC.

“It’s kind of ludicrous to think flying a flag on a flagpole for maybe an hour or two will somehow get people to think, ‘Oh my goodness, look at the city of Boston now endorsing the Protestant or the Christian faith.”

“The city, for its own speech, does not want to get into the issue of religion,” said attorney Doug Hallward-Driemeier, who is arguing the case for Boston. “It’s said that it didn’t want to fly a flag that was offered as ‘the Christian flag,’ because that wasn’t the message that the city itself wanted to communicate.”

“I don’t know of any white nationalists carrying Christian flags. That may have happened, but I don’t know. But this flag certainly represents Christianity and was designed by a couple of Sunday school teachers. Not exactly white supremacists,” Shurtleff stated.

“We’re optimistic that they will rule in our favor and that we will be allowed to raise the flag, although I understand the city will most likely cancel its flag-raising events. So we’ll see what happens,” he added.

Earlier this year, the Supreme Court announced it will hear the case of a former Seattle-area football coach who was fired from his job because he refused to stop praying on the field.

When the school district learned that Kennedy was praying with the team, they told him that he could pray separately from the students.Kennedydeclined to change his practice, was put on paid leave, and sued.

Lower courts sided with the school district. Now, the case has made its way to the nation’s highest court.

NBC political reporter found plagiarizing articles

NBC News on Monday acknowledged that one of their reporters repeatedly plagiarized parts of stories over the last year.

NBC discovered 11 articles that did not meet their "standards for original material," the agency said in a press release.

All of the articles were written by Teaganne Finn, who describes herself on her LinkedIn profile as a former Bloomberg reporter who graduated with a masters in public affairs and journalism from American University in 2016. She began working at NBC in July 2021.

The 11 stories have Editor's Notes published at the top, identifying the improperly sourced material and noting its removal.

The earliest incidence of improper attribution mentioned by NBC was in September 2021 in the article titled "Republicans keen on hammering Biden on inflation as the White House projects hike."

"Maintaining the trust of our readers and viewers is essential to NBC News, and our work must always meet the highest standards of our profession," the agency stressed in a statement.

Finn's improper sourcing was discovered during normal editing, an NBC News source told Mediate. The other incidents were discovered when Finn's articles were subsequently reviewed again.

"This is the first known instance of an incident of this nature occurring at NBC News," the source explained.

Finn is "no longer with NBC News," the NBC source said.

Her most recent NBC story appears to be from March 31, 2022. She stopped posting on her official Twitter account around this time as well.

Opposing violence means standing up against the most sophisticated information machine that has ever existed

Nobody thinks of themselves as a warmonger, but then the spin machine gets going and before you know it they're spouting the slogans they've been programmed to spout and waving the flags they've been programmed to wave and consenting to whatever the imperial war machine wants in that moment.

Virtually everyone will tell you they love peace and hate war when asked; war is the very worst thing in the world, and no healthy person relishes the thought of it…

This is because the theory of being anti-war is very different from the practice. In theory, people are just opposed to the idea of exploding other people for no good reason. In practice they're always hit with a very intense barrage of media messaging giving them what look like very good reasons why those people need exploding.

Being truly anti-war isn't easy.It's standing up against the most sophisticated propaganda machine that has ever existedwhile being offered every reason not to.

When people think of themselves as "anti-war", they're usually imagining themselves as anti- another Iraq war, or anti- some theoretical Hitler-like president starting a war because he likes killing people…

Because selling the war to the public is a built-in component of all war strategy, the war will always look necessary from the mainstream perspective, and it won't look like those other wars which we now know in retrospect were mistakes. It's always designed to look appealing. There's never not going to be atrocity propaganda….

This is why you'll always see a number of self-described leftists and anti-imperialists cheering for the latest US war project. They are ideologically opposed to the idea of war in theory, but the way it actually shows up in practice is always different from what they pictured.

Our entire civilization is shaped by domestic propaganda, but the only time you ever hear that word in mainstream discourse is when it's used to discuss the comparatively almost nonexistent influence of Russian propaganda on our society….

Propaganda is the single most overlooked and underappreciated aspect of our society. It has far more influence over how the public thinks, acts and votes than any of our official mechanisms for doing so, yet it's barely discussed, the best political ideologies barely touch on it relative to their other areas of focus.

All the fretting about Russian propaganda from establishment narrative managers comes so close to giving away their secret: that they know it's possible to manipulate the way the public thinks, acts and votes using media. They just don't admit that they're the ones who are doing this.

It's actually the weirdest thing in the world that there's something that has been directly affecting our minds our entire lives…It should be at the front and center of our attention.

But of course that's the whole idea. Propaganda only works on those who don't know they're being propagandized. The US-centralized empire's ability to hide its propaganda machine is a foundational element of its brilliance.

Being truly anti-war is necessarily a commitment to finding out not just what's true about all the war narratives currently promulgated by the imperial war machine, but all the narratives you've been fed about the world since you were young. It's a commitment to truth that takes on an almost spiritual quality in the way it informs every aspect of your life when truly espoused.

It's important to research and learn new things about the world, but what's equally important and which doesn't get emphasized nearly enough is the practice of examining the beliefs you already hold about your society, your government, your nation and your world. Inquiring as to whether they're really true, and who might benefit from your believing them.

Don't make the error of assuming you'll be aware and informed enough to spot all the lies right away. Update On Food Plants: More Fires, FBI Alert, One Off-The-Wall Explanation

Last week, PJ Media reported on the suspicious number of food processing plants, factories, logistics centers, and other industrial food facilities across the U.S. that had burned, exploded, or had planes crash on them. In the past week, more accidents have occurred, the FBI has issued a warning, possible motives have emerged, and one company offered a rather implausible explanation for the destruction of their facility. At this point, we still have more questions than answers.

Now the fact-checkers have come out in force, so we know there’s nothing to worry about. Right?

To be crystal clear: no pattern has yet emerged. The incidents still appear random. Nobody has produced a connection between all these incidents.

There are just a LOT of them, and they’re continuing.

The FBI has not made any mention of the fires, plane crashes, and explosions, but it has issued an alert about cyberattacks possibly timed to disrupt the grain harvest season:

Even if nobody cares, it makes a different to me, and it works, since I almost slacked off yesterday, but I remembered what I had said and forced myself to do some vigorous exercise.

Here is my thought for the day on this: if it requires technology to measure your fitness or writing down a bunch of numbers or trying to calculate when you are allowed or required to to this or that exercise it sucks.

It seems the point is to develop an intuitve sense of what improves strength.

A Biden administration member said that "catastrophic" food and fertilizer shortages caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine are a great opportunity to implement left-wing policies.

Samantha Power, the administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, made the comments during an interview with "This Week" on Sunday.

"We're seeing global food shortages all around the world," said anchor George Stephanopoulos, "as the administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, what more can be done to address those shortages?"

"Thank you for posing that question, it is just another catastrophic effect of Putin's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, I mean as if the harms in Ukraine weren't enough, you have countries like in subsaharan Africa and the Middle East who get maybe eighty, ninety percent of their wheat or their grain, overall, from Russia and Ukraine, and you see massive spikes in food prices," said Power.

"Food prices, right now George, globally are up 34% from where they were a year ago, aided substantially, again, by this invasion," she added.

Power said they were working to increase food production from farmers, but also wanted to use the opportunity to make farmers choose green energy alternatives to fertilizer.

"Fertilizer shortages are real now because Russia is a big exporter of fertilizer. And even though fertilizer is not sanctioned, less fertilizer is coming out of Russia. As a result, we're working with countries to think about natural solutions like manure and compost. And this may hasten transitions that would have been in the interest of farmers to make eventually anyway," Power continued.

"So never let a crisis go to waste," she concluded.

She went on to defend the Biden administration against criticism that its policies led to high food prices.

The invasion of Ukraine by Russia is in its tenth week, with some estimates claiming civilian casualties as high as 2,685, and the U.S. State Dept. estimating that more than 10,000 Russian soldiers have perished in the brutal war.

The world’s most secure national blood bank opened in Israel on Monday, the most important parts shielded in an underground structure — from terrorism, chemical and biological attacks, and earthquakes.

Magen David Adom’s $135 million Marcus National Blood Services Center has taken four years and some 11,000 tons of steel to complete. The guiding principle is that the country’s blood supply is a “strategic asset” that may save many lives in emergency scenarios, and as such should be protected.

“We visited many blood banks around the world when planning, and found that there is simply no other country with a facility like this, with such a high level of protection for the national blood supply,” Moshe Noyovich, the engineer who oversaw the project and a senior official at American Friends of Magen David Adom, which funded it, told The Times of Israel.

“We have built something that’s a new standard in protecting blood, which is important as it’s a strategic asset,” he said.

President Isaac Herzog, Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz, and other dignitaries attended the inauguration ceremony at the facility in Ramla, central Israel, on Monday. It will process and store almost all of Israel’s blood donations, for both civilians and the military, when it becomes fully functional in the summer.

The complex will replace the current beleaguered facility in Ramat Gan, which was built in the 1980s and no longer has space for the quantity of donations needed for Israel’s growing population.

Taiwan drawing ‘lessons’ from Ukraine conflict

Disputed island is looking to emulate Kiev if it squares off with Beijing, the foreign minister says

Taiwan has observed the conflict in Ukraine and drawn several lessons for its own confrontation with mainland China, the disputed island’s foreign minister, Joseph Wu, told CNN in an interview aired on Sunday.

Wu argued that Beijing is hesitant to move on the island due to what he described as Russia’s lack of progress in Ukraine and the international community’s response.

Taiwan is “watching this very carefully,” Wu told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria. “We try to see what we can learn from Ukraine in defending ourselves.”

Wu described Ukraine as being “on the frontline against Russia’s outward expansion,” and accused Russia of using the military “for its historical glory,” in what he said was a parallel to the China-Taiwan situation.

Taiwan’s two big takeaways from the conflict are that Ukraine is using “small personal weapons to go against a large enemy,” and that its male population is highly motivated. “They want to serve in the military. They want to go to the war zones to fight against Russia. That kind of spirit is enviable for the Taiwanese people,” Wu said.

Wu’s emphasis on “asymmetric capability,” such as Javelin and NLAW anti-tank rockets – widely promoted as wonder-weapons in Ukraine – is consistent with President Tsai Ing-wen’s government’s focus on such armaments. Tsai also hopes Washington would come to Taiwan’s aid directly, she told CNN in October.

When there’s a war, we need friends and allies to support Taiwan, as in the case of Ukraine,” Wu told Zakaria, pointing to how the US, EU, and Japan came together to support Kiev.

Though the US has not sent troops to Ukraine, Washington is pouring money and weapons into the country “to fight against Russia,” Wu noted. “I think the Chinese government must be thinking or calculating how the US or other major countries are going to come to Taiwan’s help or whether they’re going to come to Taiwan’s help. If Taiwan does not have any support, I think that’s going to be a green light to aggression.”

UK ForeignSecretary Liz Trusssaid in a speech last week that “a Global NATO” needs to arm Taiwan just as it has armed Ukraine, among other things. The day before CNN aired the interview with Wu, the Financial Times reported that the White House officials in charge of China and the Indo-Pacific have met with British colleagues to explore contingency plans about Taiwan.

Wu also argued that Ukraine’s ability to hold off Russia – which he attributed to “the desire to defend the country and the willingness to use personal weapons” – is giving Beijing reason to worry.

“If they are not able to take Taiwan over quickly, I think they need to pause and think twice before they act,” he said.

Beijing considers Taiwan part of China’s sovereign territory. Since 1949, the island has been ruled by the remnants of the nationalist government, which fled the mainland after defeat in the civil war.

As part of the prosecution of former Clinton Campaign/DNC lawyer Michael Sussmann: Special Counsel Durham is seeking the following e-mails/communications that have been either redacted or hidden from his review:

Documents involving Fusion GPS’s provision of opposition research and media-related strategies to Hillary for America, the DNC, and Perkins Coie. This includes the Fusion GPS/Perkins Coie contract and 38 e-mails and attachments between and among Fusion GPS, Rodney Joffe, and Perkins Coie.

Communications between Fusion GPS and Rodney Joffe relating to the Alfa Bank allegations, and “other emails that precede, and appear to relate to, those communications.” This include emails between Joffe and Laura Seago, whom Durham has subpoenaed as a trial witness.

The Clinton Campaign (including Robby Mook and John Podesta), Fusion GPS, Perkins Coie, Rodney Joffe, and the DNC are fighting to keep these e-mails and records secret, reasoning Fusion’s “role was to provide consulting services in support of the legal advice attorneys at Perkins Coie were providing to” the Clinton Campaign.

That argument – that Fusion GPS was helping with “legal advice” – is hopefully the last conspiracy theory they’ll provide to the public, after Fusion GPS has already poisoned the American public, through the FBI, DOJ, and the press, with baseless allegations of secret back-channels between Trump Organization and Russian marketing servers, piss tapes, and broader allegations of Trump/Russia collusion.

Today, Special Counsel Durham addressed those arguments by providing to the court the FEC findings where the agency found “probable cause to believe” the DNC and Hillary for America violated the law by hiding the real purpose of payments meant for Fusion GPS as “legal and compliance consulting.”

In support, he provided the First (link) and Second (link) General Counsel Reports, which recommend that the Federal Election Commission find the DNC and Hillary for America violated election laws (52 USC 30104(b)(5)(A)) “by misreporting the payee of the funds paid to Fusion GPS through Perkins Coie LLP.”

While much of the information in these now-public reports has been known for years (Glenn Simpson’s testimony to Congress, for example), these reports provide additional context on how the FEC dismantled the bogus Hillary for America/DNC Billing. Some examples:

Fusion GPS invoices reflected the work was not “legal advice” or related to legal concerns.

The FEC report matched Fusion GPS invoices to the amounts paid to its “sub vendors” (including Nellie Ohr). It concluded: “there is no evidence that Fusion provided services other than this opposition research.”
