NEW YORK - What began as a normal Sunday night in Times Square turned into mass chaos after a manhole explosion and fire sent hundreds of people running.

A loud bang was heard around 7 p.m., and video posted to social media showed people panicking and running down the street.

Con Edison confirmed that one manhole exploded in the Times Square area due to cable failure and that a second manhole was smoking.

The area aroundWest 43rd Street & 7th Avenue was closed offas the FDNY worked to deal with three manhole fires.

PDJT doesn't play to lose. PDJT is going to do whatever it takes to actively wake people to the truth while using whatever tools/assets are at his disposal to do that, as well as MAGA. It should be abundantly apparent to everyone, by now, that he does not fuck around when it comes to putting the spotlight on people while using those very same people to get things done for any particular goal he has set. Not only that, he is a planner/leader with timelines and deadlines in mind, as well as contingencies for if/when things go sideways. Folks want to drag their feet? Folks are going to get the PDJT pick that might not align with theirs.

That's not to say that there are certain picks that are going to be that way as per what's needed based on the circumstance. Could Oz be one of those circumstances? Sure. Could it be the other way? Sure. What's important, here? That the base learns from the experience, and energizes itself to do what's necessary to meet leadership half way to determining the path forward for this great Republic. If that means that PDJT needs to endorse a candidate that can not only win, but comes with strings attached to put pressure on them to make the right decisions, then so be it. This accomplishes much. It outs internal advisers that are garbage, it invigorates the base to take more action, and it puts a controllable asset in place which acts as a contingency plan.

PA anons could probably better gauge this situation than others, but what candidate had the most momentum prior to PDJT's endorsement? Take a serious look at the engagement prior to answering that question. A candidate that wins the election isn't just "who Rs think is the best one". It's a candidate that can win a majority of the "I" vote, as well as sway some "Ds". Which candidate was in that position prior to his endorsement? Anons are going to continue with the seething until they learn how to play this game. Again, think about the Youngkin play. He's going by the script since he's been elected. That's (likely) because he came with strings attached. He's pinched between PDJT and the Lt. Gov; Winsome Earle-Sears (a Marine). Anons have dug on Youngkin, so suffice it to say when PDJT says he won Virginia, he fucking won Virginia.

If you want to understand what's going on, and this goes for all the anons in each state with critical elections coming up, then pay the fuck attention. Find a candidate that's not compromised, that's USA and Constitution First in their viewpoints, loves PDJT (unity in message and policy is CRITICAL), and does not have any obvious red flags (racist, sexist, etc.). If anons in each state are collectively dragging their feet on which candidates to support where, then you're going to get the PDJT pick. At some point, the People are going to have to stand up for their Republic again. The best way to demonstrate this to the scores of patriots and leaders in the movement that have set their sights on restoring the Republic is to get involved and get unified.

If you think that PDJT is all of a sudden tone deaf because "he doesn't have a twitter account" or "he's getting too much sun at Mar-A-Lago, then you might need some more covfefe. Stop thinking about all this with emotion and start using your head. The People take back this great nation by emulating greatness. Let reason, logic, and strategy have its way. I promise, if you search yourself and the situations at play, and use critical thinking, you'll begin to understand what's happening. How many more endorsements can PDJT make? Think about where you live, and who's up for election. Get coordinated, get a voice, and get moving. It's that important.

French military intel chief's resignation seen as fallout for misjudging Putin's intentions in Ukraine

The head of France's military intelligence has quit his post in what's being seen as fallout from France misjudging Russia's intentions in Ukraine. As the U.S. predicted Russia was ready to invade Ukraine, France preferred to believe it wouldn't go that far.

Early in March, the head of France's armed forces, General Thierry Burkhard, admitted there had been very different interpretations of available intelligence.

"The Americans said that the Russians were going to attack, and they were right," he told Le Monde newspaper. "Our services thought instead that the cost of conquering Ukraine would be colossal and that Russia had other options" to bring down the regime of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

On Wednesday, General Eric Vidaud quit his post as head of French military intelligence. French media reports said he was to be moved to another service this summer as part of an organizational reshuffle, but he preferred to quit now.

Vidaud had only been in the job for seven months, following two years as head of Special Operations. He was previously posted to the French Defense Ministry, working closely with the then Defense Minister Yves Le Drian (now Foreign Minister). Prior to that he was commander of the 1st Marine Infantry Parachute Regiment.

Reports suggested that French intelligence on Russian plans lagged behind that of the U.S. and Britain – but as both Washington and London opted to publicly release much of their intelligence, there was criticism that France's own military intelligence agency had failed to accurately interpret it.

That, as French president Emmanuel Macron continued to push for a diplomatic solution to the crisis. As he returned from an in-person visit with the Russian president in Moscow in February, just ahead of the invasion, Macron told journalists that Vladimir Putin had changed considerably since he last saw him in 2019, before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

Sources at Macron's office said at the time that Putin seemed clearly "paranoid," and suggested it would be much more difficult to predict his movements than they had previously believed.

French bank quits Russia over Ukraine

Societe Generale sells stake in Rosbank due to sanctions

French banking group Societe Generale announced on Monday that it would stop all business activities in Russia.

“Societe Generale ceases its banking and insurance activities in Russia and announces the signing of a sale and purchase agreement to sell its entire stake in Rosbank and the group’s Russian insurance subsidiaries to Interros Capital, the previous shareholder of Rosbank.

“With this agreement, concluded after several weeks of intensive work, the group would exit in an effective and orderly manner from Russia, ensuring continuity for its employees and clients,” the group said in a statement on its website.

The asset sale is expected to close in the coming weeks. According to a press release from Interros, a firm linked to Russian billionaire Vladimir Potanin, the terms of the deal to acquire Rosbank, of which Societe Generale is a major shareholder, were greenlit by Russia’s government commission for foreign investment control.

As per the terms of the deal, Rosbank will continue its activities and development in Russia and retain the status of a privileged partner of Societe Generale.

“Rosbank continues to operate normally. The bank has a balanced loan portfolio and a diversified liquidity base, powerful mechanisms have been created to maintain the continuity of operations and manage cybersecurity. The bank’s activities comply with all regulatory requirements,” the statement said.

Rosbank is one of the top 15 Russian banks in terms of assets and is among the country’s most systemically important credit institutions. According to Forbes Russia, Rosbank is considered the third most reliable Russian bank.

Societe Generale is the latest international financial institution to suspend Russian operations in recent weeks, pressured by sanctions which the US, most of the EU, and a number of other countries placed on Moscow in retaliation for its military operation in Ukraine. Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Deutsche Bank, Raiffeisen Bank and a number of other banking companies announced they were leaving Russia last month.

Russia will take legal action if the West tries to create an artificial default in the country, Izvestia newspaper quoted Finance Minister Anton Siluanov as saying on Monday. The US blocked Moscow’s payment to its bondholders last week.

“Of course, we will sue, because we have taken all the necessary steps to ensure that investors receive their payments,” Siluanov said in an interview. “We will present in court our bills confirming our efforts to pay both in foreign currency and in rubles. It will not be an easy process. We will have to very actively prove our case, despite all the difficulties.”

The minister earlier said the country would do everything possible to make sure its creditors are paid.

“Russia tried in good faith to pay off external creditors,” Siluanov said. “Nevertheless, the deliberate policy of Western countries is to artificially create a man-made default by all means.”

Russia’s external liabilities amount to about 20% of the total public debt, which stood at about 21 trillion rubles ($259 billion), according to Siluanov. Of that, between 4.5 trillion rubles ($55 billion) and 4.7 trillion rubles ($57 billion) were external liabilities.

Last week, US authorities stopped the Russian government from paying holders of its sovereign debt more than $600 million from reserves frozen in American bank accounts. JPMorgan, which had been processing payments as a correspondent bank, was stopped by the US Treasury, it was reported. Now Russia has a 30-day grace period to make the payment.

Since February 24, when the military operation in Ukraine was launched, Russia managed to make as many as five bond payments, having averted the default that was predicted by international rating agencies.

“If an economic and financial war is waged against our country, we are forced to react, while still fulfilling all our obligations,” Siluanov said. “If we are not allowed to do it in foreign currency, we’ll do it in rubles.”

Ruble retreats as central bank eases capital controls

The ruble weakened against foreign currencies on Monday after the previous week’s record rally as the Bank of Russia relaxed capital control measures.

As of 10am GMT, the ruble slid to around 78 rubles to the US dollar and to just over 84 against the euro during trading on the Moscow Exchange. The Russian currency lost roughly 4% of its value against the dollar and 3% against the euro since surging on Friday to its highest level this year.

Monday’s drop follows the central bank’s decision to relax temporary capital control measures that were introduced over the past few weeks to support the currency amid sanctions against Russia.

A 12% commission for buying foreign currency through brokerages was scrapped as of Monday and a temporary ban on selling foreign exchange cash to individuals will be lifted from April 18.

Among the remaining support measures are the obligatory conversion of 80% of FX revenues by export-focused companies and a high key interest rate, which was cut from 20% to 17% last week.

The central bank likely decided to ease capital controls to weaken the domestic currency, as the Russian budget depends on the ruble exchange rate within parameters set at the beginning of the year. If the ruble is too strong, the Russian government may risk running a budget deficit.

The Dec. 11, 2017 Attack

On Dec. 11, 2017, at approximately 7:20 a.m., Akayed Ullah detonated an improvised explosive device (“IED”) inside a subway terminal (the “Subway Terminal”) in or around the New YorkPort Authority Bus Terminal located at West 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue in New York, New York (the “December 11 Attack”). Shortly after the blast, members of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department (“PAPD”) located Ullah lying on the ground in the vicinity of the explosion. Surveillance footage captured Ullah walking through the Subway Terminal and detonating his IED.

Ullah was taken into custody by law enforcement. During the course of Ullah’s arrest, law enforcement officers located on his person and in the surrounding area what appeared to be the components of an exploded pipe bomb (the “Pipe Bomb”). Specifically, law enforcement located, among other items, (i) a nine-volt battery inside Ullah’s pants pocket; (ii) wires connected to the battery and running underneath Ullah’s jacket; (iii) two plastic zip ties underneath Ullah’s jacket; (iv) several fragments of a metal pipe, including pieces of a metal end cap, on the ground; (v) the remnants of what appeared to be a Christmas tree lightbulb attached to wires; (vi) metal screws; and (vii) pieces of what appear to be plastic zip ties, among other items.

After Ullah was taken into custody, he was transferred to Bellevue Hospital, where he made statements to law enforcement officers after waiving his Miranda rights. During that interview, Ullah stated, among other things, the following:

Ullah constructed the Pipe Bomb and carried out the Dec. 11 Attack. Ullah was inspired by ISIS to carry out the Dec. 11 Attack, and stated, among other things, “I did it for the Islamic State.”

Ullah constructed the Pipe Bomb at his residence in Brooklyn (“the Residence”).

The Pipe Bomb was composed of a metal pipe, which Ullah filled with explosive material that he created. Ullah used Christmas tree lights, wires, and a nine-volt battery as a trigger to detonate the Pipe Bomb. Ullah filled the Pipe Bomb with metal screws, which he believed would cause maximum damage. Ullah used zip ties to secure the Pipe Bomb to his body.

Ullah carried out the Dec. 11 Attack in part because of the United States Government’s policies in, among other places, the Middle East. One of Ullah’s goals in carrying out the Dec. 11 Attack was to terrorize as many people as possible. He chose to carry out the attack on a work day because he believed that there would be more people present.

Ullah’s radicalization began no later than approximately 2014. Ullah viewed pro-ISIS materials online, including a video instructing, in substance, that if supporters of ISIS were unable to travel overseas to join ISIS, they should carry out attacks in their homelands. He began researching how to build IEDs on the Internet approximately one year prior to the attack.

On the morning of Dec. 11, 2017, shortly before carrying out the attack, Ullah posted a statement on his Facebook account referring to the President of the United States, stating, in substance, “Trump you failed to protect your nation.” Ullah also posted a statement that he believed would be understood by members and supporters of ISIS to convey that Ullah carried out the attack in the name of ISIS.

US and UK conducting 'secret war' in Ukraine – Le Figaro

SAS and Delta Force part of “secret war”, a French intelligence source reportedly told Le Figaro

Elite special forces from the UK and the US have been present in Ukraine since the beginning of hostilities with Russia in late February, a source in the French intelligence community reportedly told a Le Figaro reporter, last week.

The claim was reported by the newspaper’s senior international correspondent Georges Malbrunot on Saturday, the day when British Prime Minister Boris Johnson made his surprise visit to Kiev. The British leader was reportedly surrounded by guards from the elite SAS force, though this claim was not officially confirmed.

SAS units “have been present in Ukraine since the beginning of the war, as did [sic] the American Deltas,” Malbrunot tweeted citing a French intelligence source. He added that according to the source Russia was well aware of the “secret war” waged against its troops by foreign commandos. Le Figaro included his report in their updates on Ukraine.

The UK and the US have been among the most active military supporters of Kiev. Johnson reportedly personally urged his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky to keep on fighting against Russia and not settle for peace until better terms are offered.

Western pro-fighting consensus was apparently confirmed last week by EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, who said on Saturday that the “war will be won on the battlefield” as he too was visiting Kiev.

British media earlier reported that dozens of “retired” SAS soldiers had gone or planned to go to Ukraine to contribute their expertise in reconnaissance and anti-tank warfare to Kiev’s cause. Their services were allegedly paid for by “a country in Europe, still to be named, via a private military company” rather than by the British government, according to the UK tabloid the Daily Mirror.

The Russian military reported action against what it described as “mercenaries” fighting for Ukraine on several occasions. One of the recent instances was on Saturday, just as Johnson and Borell were in Kiev.

The Russian defense ministry said Kiev attempted to use a civilian ship in its latest failed attempt to evacuate high-value personnel from the port city of Mariupol, which saw some of the most intensive fighting during the conflict. The individuals intended for evacuation were identified as leaders of the ultranationalist Azov battalion and foreign mercenaries. There are unconfirmed reports that hundreds of foreign nationals could be blocked in Mariupol along with several thousand Azov troops.

The US and the UK have publicly stated they had no plans to involve their troops in the fighting in Ukraine. Both are major suppliers of arms to Kiev and were training soldiers in Ukraine before the Russian offensive. The experts were reported pulled out of the country in the run-up to the hostilities.

Britain’s Defence Ministry banned active service members from traveling to Ukraine in early March, saying that violating the rule could result in prosecution. Kiev called on volunteers abroad to join the ranks of its newly-created “foreign legion” after the Russian attack.

South Korea’s Ministry of National Defense has rejected Kiev’s plea for anti-aircraft lethal weaponry due to a “principled stance,” ahead of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s virtual address to Seoul’s parliament.

The country's Defense Minister Suh Wook had a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart, Aleksey Reznikov, on Friday. During the conversation, Seoul’s military chief reiterated his country’s “principled stance” on not sending lethal weapons to the war-torn nation, outlet This Week in Asia has reported.

“The Ukrainian defense minister asked for weapons for air defense and Minister Suh politely repeated the South Korean government’s principled stance that its aid is confined to non-lethal materials,” an identified Korean official shared with the outlet.

On Monday, President Zelensky is expected to address the South Korean National Assembly, seeking to receive more support from Seoul for Kiev’s resistance to Russian troops operating within Ukraine.

Attending a meeting with NATO leaders on Thursday, South Korean Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong pledged that his country will allocate an additional $30 million for humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Previously, South Korea has provided Ukraine with such non-lethal military supplies as bulletproof helmets, blankets, and medical items. The overall value of Korean aid has exceeded $800,000.

Russia seeks to end US-dominated world order – Lavrov

Washington acts based on ad-hoc rules that violate international law, foreign minister claims

Russia's military action in Ukraine is meant to put an end to the US-dominated world order, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has explained. Washington has been seeking supremacy by imposing ad-hoc rules and violating international law, he claimed, in an interview aired by Russian television on Monday.

He was referring to America's attempts to impose its own so-called “rules-based international order,” which have met with strong resistance from Moscow and China.

“Our special military operation is meant to put an end to the unabashed expansion [of NATO] and the unabashed drive towards full domination by the US and its Western subjects on the world stage,” Lavrov told Rossiya 24 news channel.

“This domination is built on gross violations of international law and under some rules, which they are now hyping so much and which they make up on a case-by-case basis,” he added.

Russia is among the nations who would not submit to Washington’s will, the Russian diplomat added. It will only be part of an international community of equals and will not allow Western nations to ignore its legitimate security concerns, Lavrov said.

Lavrov blasted EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell for appearing to encourage more fighting in Ukraine. The bloc’s top diplomat said the conflict “will be won on the battlefield” as he announced more military aid to Kiev last Saturday. Lavrov called the statement “outrageous.”

“When a diplomatic chief … says a certain conflict can only be resolved through military action… Well, it must be something personal. He either misspoke or spoke without thinking, making a statement that nobody asked him to make. But it’s an outrageous remark,” Lavrov added.

The EU's role has shifted during the Ukraine security crisis, the minister believes. Previously it didn’t act as a military organization “fighting collectively against an invented threat.” Lavrov said the change was the result of pressure put on the bloc's members by Washington, which has pushed it closer to NATO.

For its part, Russia wants to negotiate peace with Ukraine, Lavrov added.

Russian commandos have killed a prominent member of Ukraine’s ultra-nationalist Right Sector group, the Russian defense ministry claimed on Monday. Taras Bobanich was accused by Moscow of causing hundreds of civilian deaths in eastern Ukraine during hostilities in 2014.

A Russian recon team killed the top Neo-Nazi while on patrol about 5km south from the city of Izium in Ukraine’s Kharkov region, the ministry statement explained. It said he was a deputy commander of the Right Sector responsible for reserve operations.

The ministry didn’t disclose the circumstances of Bobanich’s death. The Right Sector’s social media reported that he was killed on Friday near Izium, calling him a “legendary nationalist”.

The 33-year-old, whose nickname was “Hummer”, came originally from western Ukraine. He rose to national prominence during the mass protests and armed coup of 2013-2014, during which Western-backed Ukrainian nationalists served as a street fighting force against law enforcement.

The coup ended with the toppling of Ukraine’s democratically elected president and a rebellion in the east of the country, which the new authorities in Kiev tried to quash with military force. The nationalists formed so-called “volunteer battalions” to participate in the fighting.

According to Russia, Bobanich had personally ordered the indiscriminate artillery shelling of cities in eastern Ukraine during the hostilities, which allegedly resulted in hundreds of deaths.

In addition to serving as a nationalist military commander, Bobanich played a prominent role in the blockade of trade between Ukraine and Crimea in the autumn 2015. The blockade was organized by nationalist forces who wanted to punish people living on the peninsula for breaking away from Ukraine a year prior and voting to rejoin Russia.

Timeline for new NATO expansion revealed – media

Finland and Sweden could join the US-led military bloc in a matter of months, sources tell The Times

Finland and Sweden could join NATO as early as this summer in response to Moscow’s ongoing military assault on Ukraine, according to a report from Britain's The Times newspaper, on Monday.

The Finnish application to join the bloc is expected to be submitted in June, with Sweden following suit shortly after that, unnamed US officials told the British newspaper.

The possible membership of the two Nordic nations was “a topic of conversation and multiple sessions” during the summit of NATO’s foreign ministers in Brussels last week, the sources said. Finland’s FM Pekka Haavisto and his Swedish counterpart Ann Linde were both present at the two-day talks.

Helsinki and Stockholm “would be real feathers in NATO’s cap as net contributors,” especially in terms of intelligence-gathering and air-force capabilities, according to a European diplomat who talked to the paper.

Russia, Finland and Sweden all have access to the Baltic Sea, with a shared Russian-Finnish land border spanning some 1,340km.

A senior US official claimed that the Russian offensive in Ukraine was “a massive strategic blunder for [Russia’s President Vladimir] Putin” as it made Helsinki and Stockholm question their policy of not joining any military alliances.

Moscow opposes the expansion of NATO, but the inclusion of Finland and Sweden in the bloc won’t become an existential threat to it, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told Sky News on Friday. But Russia would have to make its “Western flank more sophisticated in terms of ensuring our security” if such a move takes place, he said.

NATO is “tailored for confrontation and the main purpose for its existence is to confront our country,” Peskov said.

Finland must decide on its NATO bid “thoroughly but quickly,” Sanna Marin, the country’s prime minister, said earlier this month. “Russia is not the neighbor we thought it was,” she insisted.

“I don’t exclude NATO membership in any way,” her Swedish counterpart Magdalena Andersson pointed out in late March.

Both Helsinki and Stockholm have announced that they’re now carrying out reviews of their security policies. The Finnish review is expected to be completed by mid-April and the Swedish one by the end of May.

Finland’s foreign minister had earlier suggested that, if the country eventually decides to join the bloc, it could take the parliaments of the 30 NATO member states between four and 12 months to officially approve the bid.

However, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg insisted that “the very decision to welcome Finland to NATO can be made very quickly and then it is a formal process in the capitals or parliaments to ratify it.”

Anon theory on PSYOPS, Artificial Intelligence, and the Digital Battlefield

Anon believes that generally speaking, the "dead internet" theory is correct, especially if the scope is limited to social media. For twitter-fags, what percentage of activity on twitter is organic? What percentage seems to be from bots? I'd guess about 90% of things I see on Twitter are from bot accounts. Coupled with the Twitter algorithm, when people use twitter, they are quite literally subjecting themselves to what amounts to and AI-driven, personally tailored propaganda campaign. Remember the Snow White supercomputers? If we know about those, imagine what is truly state-of-the-art in terms of super-computing and uses in psychological warfare at this very moment. I suspect quantum computers are used to drive this, but that is a different topic.

Reddit is similar. If you have ever visited the "sub-simulator" communities, you know that it is essentially an experiment where the entire community is run bot bots and different AI/ML algorithms are used to drive interaction between the bots. Some comments and posts are pretty obviously bad, but a lot of them would pass the Turing test.

Now imagine that the US Military has a much, much better version of these AI/ML engines. The deployment of these algorithms on the internet would be the ultimate psychological weapon on the digital battlefield. You could shape public opinion, influence voting behaviors, drive consumerism, stir dissent, etc. The power in such a machine/algorithm would be absolutely the most effective military weapon in history. Coupled with the advent of extraordinarily realistic deep-fakes, the possibilities are nearly endless. If you expand the scope to include most of the internet (remember all those IP addresses the Military took control of?), you could basically consider the internet itself as one big PSYOP.

To wrap up, I believe that Social media has been weaponized with AI bots, driven by supercomputers (remember Snow White?) that seek to sow discord and influence opinions at a massive scale. Anon believes that we are in the midst of a massive "WarGame", driven by Pentagon-backed psychological operations using AI and quantum computers.
