FDA Document on Moderna Vaccine Approval Removed From Agency’s Website

A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) document explaining why the agency approved Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine was removed from the agency’s website overnight.

The Summary Basis for Regulatory Action gave more details on how regulators reached the approval decision, and included references to an unpublished analysis that found the rates of post-vaccination heart inflammation were higher than any U.S. agency had found before.

After The Epoch Times reviewed the document and sent questions about it to FDA spokespersons, it disappeared from the agency’s website.

“We are aware of the issue and hope to have the document reposted as soon as possible,” a spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email on Thursday.

Reached by phone and asked for more details about the issue, the spokesperson said: “I reached out to the website people. I don’t really have any more information to tell you.”

The Epoch Times has submitted Freedom of Information Act requests for the document and several unpublished analyses referenced in it, including the FDA meta-analysis.

Barbara Loe Fisher, president of the National Vaccine Information Center, a nonprofit that advocates for informed consent, told The Epoch Times in an email that “the public has the right to review the evidence FDA is using to license new mRNA vaccines as safe and effective.”

“Lack of transparency only fosters distrust in government agencies charged with protecting the public health. FDA should immediately release all information related to the incidence of myocarditis and other serious adverse events following mRNA COVID-19 vaccinations, whether that information has been provided to the agency by vaccine manufacturers or discovered through in-house analyses of additional data collected by federal officials,” she added.

The FDA meta-analysis examined data of four health care claims databases and estimated that, among males aged 18 to 25, the rate of myocarditis following Moderna’s primary series was 148 per million males vaccinated.

That figure is higher than other government estimates, including a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) analysis of reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. The analysis found about 10.7 cases per million males aged 18 to 24 who got Moderna’s first shot and 56 cases per million among those who received Moderna’s second shot.

Myocarditis is one type of heart inflammation that people who receive vaccines built on messenger RNA (mRNA) have experienced at higher-than-expected rates. It also occurs among people who contract the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19.

Lt. Col. Vindman Got Tax Payer-Funded Military Protection After His Failed Attempt to Remove Trump From Office.

Retired Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman requested and ultimately received protection from the United States military after his failed “whistleblowing” attempt to unseat President Donald J. Trump, a new lawsuit filed against allies of the former President has revealed.

Vindman, who served on the National Security Council and testified against Trump during his first impeachment hearings, filed suit against Donald Trump Jr., Rudy Giuliani and Trump allies Julia Hahn and Daniel Scavino alleging “intimidation and retaliation.”

Buried in the 73-page lawsuit are several measures Vindman and his family availed themselves of following his decision to falsely accuse President Trump of wrongdoing on a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The suit notes:

“Out of fear for their physical safety, Lt. Col. Vindman and his wife considered moving their family to a military base in late 2019 and early 2020. They ultimately decided not to do so, however, for fear that it would spur further unwanted media attention.

“Lt. Col. Vindman did ultimately request and receive added protection from the military for a period of time. The local police also provided additional patrols around the Vindman home in response to the fear of physical harm to the family.”

Vindman – who secured a major book deal, national speaking events, and even a cameo on Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm in the aftermath of the failed attempt to remove Trump from office early – also claims his wife “feared that physical violence was the natural and foreseeable consequence” of his actions.

“As a result, she and their daughter decided to leave the house less frequently to reduce their risk. The Vindmans also decided not to attend certain family and social events. And Ms. Vindman cut back on her work hours because she feared the attention she and her coworkers would receive while she was at work,” the document alleges.

“Lt. Col. Vindman also suffered harm due to the psychological effects, and associated physical effects, of Defendants’ actions,” the lawsuit adds.

A church in southwest Oregon is suing the city where it's located over a strange new local ordinance that limits the number of times per week the institution can serve free meals to needy residents.

St. Timothy's Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon filed a federal lawsuit against the city of Brookings, Oregon, last week, arguing the city violated the church's constitutional right to religious expression by barring it from serving the community, NPR reported.

For more than 75 years, the church has been serving its local community, often by providing services to people who are homeless, sick, or otherwise in need, the diocese noted in a press release. Perhaps most notably, the church has become a refuge for the hungry, frequently serving free meals to people in need from the church property.

St. Timothy's and other local churches are the only nonprofits in the city that provide meal services. And when other churches suspended their meal services during the early stages of the pandemic, St. Timothy's decided to up its offerings to six days a week, typically serving up to 70 people each lunchtime.

But the charitable services apparently rankled some members of the community, who sent a petition to the city council complaining of trespassing, littering, and noise in their neighborhood and asking that the city suspend the church's homeless services.

In response, the Brookings City Council approved an ordinance that churches obtain a "benevolent meal service" permit to provide meal services on their property, limiting such services to two times per week.

The city maintained that the ordinance was adopted as a way to satisfy the concerns of local residents while still respecting the needs of the individuals who go to St. Timothy's for meals.

"There is nobody on this council that has made an attack on St. Timothy's whatsoever. It's not because we're all wicked. It's because we're meeting needs [to serve] a dual purpose. There are other ways to explain what's going on without vilifying the City Council," Brookings Mayor Ron Hedenskog said, according to Wild Rivers Outpost.

"I'm upset over this. I've been upset over it for weeks. There has never been a statement from this council or staff about shutting down benevolent kitchens. We're looking to strike an equilibrium," he added.

But the church and its diocese have refused to comply, arguing their congregants' religious liberty rights have been unduly burdened.

"The parishioners of St. Timothy’s are obeying the teachings of Jesus when they provide food and medical care to their community," Bishop Diana Akiyama said in a statement. "As Christians, we are called by faith to feed the hungry and welcome the stranger. Providing hospitality to all who enter St. Timothy’s in search of help is integral to our beliefs."

"We’ve been serving our community here for decades and picking up the slack where the need exists and no one else is stepping in," the church's reverend, Father Bernie, added. "We have no intention of stopping now and we’re prepared to hold fast to our beliefs. We won’t abandon the people of Brookings who need our help, even when we’re being threatened."

In the lawsuit, St. Timothy’s and the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon are asking a federal court to declare the ordinance invalid on constitutional grounds.

"The St. Timothy’s meal program is not only a vital service for many, but also a protected expression of faith," Samantha Sondag, an attorney at Stoel Rives, one of the firms representing the plaintiffs, said.

"The City of Brookings is attempting without justification to restrict Father Bernie and the congregants of St. Timothy’s right to worship as their conscience dictates," Walter Fonseca, special projects counsel with the Oregon Justice Resource Center, added.

Beer Recipe

“Freedom Convoy ‘o7’ IPA” In Honk of Canadian Truckers and Patriots Worldwide against N.W.O. C.overt O.peration V.accine ID. [19]-ai B.S. man-dates. 5.5 gallons. Approximate ABV 9% +/-

Need 6 gallons of distilled water, not required but recommended for sterility purposes. Put 2 gals in the fridge the night beerfore. 6.5 gallon carboy, airlock, beer recipe.

Liquid Malt Extract. Briess Golden Light; 8 pounds.

2 pounds Sugar cook converted to “invert sugar” (look it up, easy and better but can skip).

Grains steeped one gallon+ and <170 and <150 for 45 minutes, one pound each: Pale Ale 2 Row, Caramunich, and Crystal 80. After adding to boiling kettle, grains rinsed with one gal. 150+ degree water. Some people use grain bags (cheese cloth) I put grain directly in water and strain through a cloth lined colander into your boiling kettle of 5 gallon or larger.

After adding the LME, add enough hot distilled (optional) water to be roughly 3+ gallons in your boiling kettle, return to boil over medium heat.

HOPS: Add 1 oz of a 5-HBU pack directly to wort.

Boil timer now set to 17 minutes.

At 17 minutes add a mesh bag or micron filter hops tube with the CONVOY OF HOPS ( One ounce each of Centennial, Azzaca, Mosaic, & Idaho 7 hops), Stir occasionally.

Continue boiling until the last 15 minutes, add 1 tbsp. Yeast Nutrient and I tablet of Irish Moss.

At cool down, turn off burner, add one ounce of Amarillo hops directly to wort and continue cooling; I place my wort pot in a sink full of cold water and stir (some use a wort cooler). Pulling the pot out of the sink a few times to change the sink water, ice or a Wort Cooler optional. Bring temp to <100 pour wort in bottling bucket, add the previously refrigerated water to bring to 5.5 gallons and a temp between 70 – 90 degrees. Stir well and then take a sample to be measured for Original Gravity, this number is important for determining Final Gravity and calculating ABV%. (if I am speaking a different language then read more about how to brew beer).

At this point, add 1 tbsp. glucoamylase enzyme (optional) and one pack of “Mangrove Jack M42 New World Strong Ale yeast” and drain contents into 6.5 gallon carboy. Keep contents near 70 degrees for 2 to 3 weeks.

At bottling time, dissolve 6 ounces of corn sugar in 12 ounces of hot water, add to brewed wort in bottling bucket and stir well, bottle about 50, twelve ounce bottles. After bottles have aged a minimum of 2 weeks, serve cold in frosted mug.

A woman appointed as the Washington Post’s national editor last month is married to the chief of staff for Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Christopher Wray, raising questions about the independence of the outlet’s coverage of the federal agency and the FBI’s affiliation with the establishment media.

Jonathan Lenzner, a federal prosecutor who was named the FBI director’s chief of staff in December, is married to Matea Gold, who was named the national editor of the Washington Post in January, according to a report published Tuesday by RealClearInvestigations.com.

Gold married Lenzner in 2006, when she was a writer for the Los Angeles Times.

Responding to a request for comment from RealClearInvestigations on the conflict of interest, the Washington Post clarified that Gold would be recused from any coverage of the FBI.

The Post claimed that the Jeff Bezos-owned paper’s managing editor, Steven Ginsberg, would assume Gold’s duties in situations involving coverage of the FBI.

“We have every confidence in Matea’s professionalism and high standards,” a WaPo spokeswoman said.

“She has recused herself from this area of coverage to avoid even the appearance of partiality.”

The Post claims that Gold will be barred from directing or editing coverage of government officials such as Wray or Attorney General Merrick Garland. Gold’s byline features extensive coverage of news related to the federal justice system in the past, such as the Mueller investigation and the firing of former FBI director James Comey.

At the time, Jonathan Lenzner was the acting U.S attorney for the District of Maryland.

Lenzner’s role as a federal prosecutor arguably merited disclosure in connection to Gold’s work.

The lack of transparency in the matter raises questions about the integrity of Gold’s present recusal, which was only announced in response to an inquiry into her connection to the FBI.

In an article announcing her promotion last month, the Post cited Gold’s editorial involvement in such matters, including having “spearheaded” an illustrated report on Robert Mueller’s ultimately empty investigation into claims of collusion between former President Donald Trump and Russia.

The FBI declined to comment in response to inquiry from RealClearInvestigations regarding the impropriety of Lenzner’s hiring, only providing a link to his government biography without addressing Lenzner’s proximity to one of the most well-funded media organizations in the United States.

Lenzner’s wife isn’t his only connection to liberal politics. Lenzner’s father, Terry, was a private investigator employed on numerous instances by former President Bill Clinton. The New York Times reported that during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, Terry Lenzner was called by independent counsel Kenneth Starr to testify before a grand jury over his work for Clinton.

Terry Lenzner also investigated the case involving Paula Jones, a woman who sued Clinton in a sexual misconduct lawsuit, according to The Times.

Ten days ago an “expert panel” in Israel recommended a fourth dose of the COVID vaccine to protect the people from the coronavirus.

According to the data from Reuters, Israel has administered at least 17,879,314 doses of COVID vaccines so far. Assuming every person needs 2 doses, that’s enough to have vaccinated about 98.7% of the country’s population.

But it doesn’t seem to be helping.

Israel now has the highest COVID number of COVID deaths per one million people in the world.

Watchdog groups are sounding the alarm on the law enforcement arm of the U.S. Postal Service, which they say is violating the privacy and civil liberties of the American people by using sophisticated tools to break into hundreds of citizens' cellphones and collect their social media posts.

Until now, it's gone largely unpublicized that the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) admitted in its 2020 annual report that it not only employed top-of-the-line technology hundreds of times to hack into mobile phones but also planned to expand its use of the hacking tools in the future.

"The Cellebrite Premium and GrayKey tools acquired in [fiscal year] 2019 and 2018 allow the Digital Evidence Unit to extract previously unattainable information from seized mobile devices," the 2020 report states. "During FY 2020, 331 devices were processed, and 242 were unlocked and/or extracted by these services. The success of the program and ever-increasing demand for services required the purchase this year of a second GrayKey device for use on the East Coast."
