Dear Sen. Manchin,

I am writing you sir to say Thank You. You have done your country, our country a great service by saying no to this Build Back Better inanity we are seeing from the democrat party in Washington. Mr. Manchin, I don't think there can be any doubt as to where this party is taking America. If one set out to destroy a country, what would one do differently than what the democrat party and Joe Biden are doing? Joe Biden's first act as President was to halt the Keystone Pipeline. There were other policies put in place to further destroy this nation's ability to be energy independent. This was the match that lit the fuse to the soaring energy prices that literally affects every good and service produced in our economy. Inflation is rising and if we continue on this path, it will spiral out of control leading to devastating our currency, our economy, our savings, retirement. Your state, West Virginia, is vitally important to this nation's energy production and we know and have known for a very long time that this party is on a quest to destroy the energy production in your state. Think they will stop? They will not stop.

Mr. Manchin, the democrat party has finally revealed itself to all. It is not the party of JFK. It never was. I am an astute observer and student of the socialist/communist movement that has been on the march around the world since the early 1900's. Every aspect of what we are seeing today, literally on every issue, has been planned for and worked towards for decades. It is not a coincidence nor is it just a one off fluke. Sir, I ask you, do you believe, support, in your heart of hearts what this party believes in? Promotes? Works to enact? The aborting of a new born infant? The destruction of our ability to produce energy? The weakening of our Military? The decimation of our system of law and order? The flooding of our country with illegal aliens by the millions? Do you support the economic policies that further erode our economy and our currency? Mr. Manchin, we are in historic times in the timeline of the United States. We are no longer united as a country. It is not the "right minded, right reason" American people that has brought us to this precipice. I think that if you really examine closely the the unAmerican issues this democrat party supports, I don't believe that you can really support any of it. West Virginians certainly don't.

I want to extend to you a heartfelt, sincere invitation to leave the democrat party. It is time. As a conservative, I do not and will not excuse any republican in our party of their ineptitude and unwillingness to fight for this country. There are quite a few of these RINOs in the republican party and conservatives such as myself are working to get these people out. They too, lack the willingness, leadership ability and vision to lead and more importantly, fight for this country into the future. They are as much a problem as the democrat party has become and must be defeated if we as a nation and generations to follow, are ever going to have our brightest days ahead of US. But, I can say this. It is not the republican party that hates, slurs and smears this country. It is not the republican party that has opened our southern border to allow millions of illegal aliens to unlawfully enter our country. It is not those in our party that are indoctrinating young children to hate themselves because of their skin color. It is not those in this party that riot, plunder, murder and burn people's livelihoods, businesses and cities to the ground on falsehoods. It is not the republican party that is turning our civil society, our judiciary and our system of law and order upside down. It is not the republican party that tears down our history. As flawed as that history is, the Founders gave US the tools to right those wrongs fore they knew and believed the phrase "all men are created equal" did not exclude any man. No matter his color, creed or religion. No right minded American believes it is acceptable to kill a new born infant cloaked in the guise of being pro choice. I could continue. I think you know that I could.

Sen. Manchin, as I stated, we are in historical times. Your appearance on Fox News Sunday took courage sir. Frankly, it took BALLS. Your demeanor was straight, sincere and heartfelt. Now the onslaught of attacks will ensue by those in your own party for doing what you know to be right. This party is totalitarian in word, totalitarian in deed. If you dare to think for yourself you are smeared, berated and attacked. This is the mindset of communism. It is wrong. It is evil. D.C. third-graders were made to reenact episodes from the Holocaust

A Watkins Elementary School staff member told third-graders in library class to reenact scenes from the Holocaust, directing them to dig their classmates’ mass graves and simulate shooting the victims, according to an email from the school’s principal. The instructor was placed on leave Friday.

She allegedly assigned specific roles to students. She cast one student as Adolf Hitler, according to an email from Watkins Elementary School Principal MScott Berkowitz to the third-graders’ parents. He did not name the staff member. That student is Jewish, according to the parent of a student who was asked to participate. At the end of the exercise, the child was told to pretend to commit suicide, as Hitler did.

Originally, the students were in library class on Friday for a self-directed project they would present to their classmates before winter break. But the instructor had students participate in the reenactment during their allotted research time, Berkowitz wrote to parents.

“I want to acknowledge the gravity of this poor instructional decision, as students should never be asked to act out or portray any atrocity, especially genocide, war, or murder,” Berkowitz said in the email.

A different parent of a student who was a part of the reenactment said her son had to pretend to be on a train to a concentration camp, then act as if he were dying in a gas chamber. He also had to act as if he were shooting his peers, the parent said. The parent spoke on the condition of anonymity and declined to name the child.

The instructor allegedly made antisemitic comments during the reenactment. The parent said that when the children asked why the Germans did this, the staff member said it was “because the Jews ruined Christmas.”

The instructor asked students after the reenactment not to tell anyone about it, but they told their homeroom teacher, the parent said.

The incident was reported to D.C. Public Schools’ Comprehensive Alternative Resolution and Equity Team. The staff member is now on leave, pending a school investigation.

“This was not an approved lesson plan, and we sincerely apologize to our students and families who were subjected to this incident,” a spokesperson for DCPS said.

The entire class met with the school’s mental health response team after the Friday incident, according to Berkowitz’s email.

Other local schools have reported incidents of bigotry in recent months. At Woodrow Wilson High School in Northwest Washington, several swastikas, the n-word and the phrase “white power” were scrawled on the wall of a men’s bathroom early this month, according to reporting by student journalists at the Beacon, the school’s independent newspaper.

Clinical Trial to Test Anti-Malaria Medication’s Protective Qualities

The national clinical trial will evaluate whether hydroxychloroquine – an anti-malaria drug that has been identified as potentially effective against COVID-19 – can protect front-line healthcare workers from contracting the virus. Investigators plan to enroll into the trial 15,000 healthcare workers, including 1,500 from New York City, from intensive care units, emergency departments and COVID-19 wards nationwide over a two-week period, with the randomized clinical trial lasting a month. Rapid Test to Detect COVID-19

The rapid-response test for COVID-19, developed by Dr. Christopher Mason – an associate professor of physiology and biophysics, the WorldQuant Foundation Research Scholar and co-director of the WorldQuant Initiative for Quantitative Prediction at Weill Cornell Medicine – leverages loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) technology, a rapid geneidentification technique, and indicates a positive result with a color change. The test, which also received funding support from WorldQuant, the quantitative investment firm founded by Overseer Igor Tulchinsky, can complement current diagnostic methods and use samples derived from mouth swabs, instead of nasal swabs. It also does not necessitate the use of equipment or supplies that are both currently in short supply, while also having the potential to rapidly expand in scale.
