I don't know if we finally found out / figured out the red castle (last I thought we had figured out that it was a branch of military), but I happened across this last night watching Ariel America over Oregan.
They were flying over Google headquarters and talking about Dalles Lock Dam. It powers the servers and runs the cool AC units as well.
And right there underneath the name is a Red Castle.
I'm sorry for jamming this in as a thread. Just didn't see any working red castles.

The red castle is the icon for the army corps of engineers. who built the dam. It is linked to the grid. Not a sole supplier to any specific buildings. If it goes down the receive power from Boneville or Mcnary...etc.
