I found this info doing a random google search. Just search "Konica Minolta" and "Contact Tracing" together
It looks like Konica Minolta bought a 65 percent share in 2016 in a company called MOBOTIX. Mobotix manufactures security camera and RFID chip interfaces,, this includes thermal camera scanners.
Now that is not out of the question for Konica Minolta to buy up a company like this. However Konica Minolta has a program its offering called "The Return to Work program", which is rolling out applications and equipment that are specifically involved in the contact tracing agenda/s.
I don't have the specific data of who is pushing this agenda through Konica Minolta, or how much Konica Minolta is involved in the bigger agendas that Contact Tracing opens the door for.
I have gone as far as I can with my ability to research this specific topic. However it feels like there are some dots that will help with the over all clearer picture. The links below are specific info I have found so far.
Interestingly enough the 3rd link is from an article that came out in Feb 2019 and states: "The first products based on the new camera platform will be launched in the first quarter of 2019/20"
