Oil Gains As Saudi Arabia And Russia Stick To Oil Production And Export Cuts

Saudi Arabia and Russia have confirmed they will extend their voluntary production and export cuts until the end of the year in a largely expected move to keep a lid on a solid portion of global supply, OilPrice reported. The news helped reverse some of oil's sharp losses from last week. This additional voluntary cut comes to reinforce the precautionary efforts made by OPEC+ countries with the aim of supporting the stability and balance of oil markets," Reuters quoted a statement from the Saudi energy ministry as saying.

Saudi Arabia has been producing around 9 million barrels daily, effecting a voluntary reduction of some 1 million bpd. Russia, for its part, has undertaken to reduce exports by 300,000 bpd and production by half a million barrels daily.

"The additional voluntary cut is intended to strengthen the measures taken by OPEC+ countries to maintain the stability and balance of oil markets," Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Sunday.

Commenting on the Saudi and Russian updates, ING’s Warren Patterson and Ewa Manthey noted that this extension was expected but the market would be interested in whether the two would extend the cuts further into 2024. This might suggest the current extension was unlikely to have any immediate effect on prices but an extension into 2024 might move the benchmarks.

“Our oil balance shows that the market will be in surplus in 1Q24, which may be enough to convince the Saudis and Russians to continue with cuts through the seasonally weaker demand period of Q1,” the analysts wrote.

Prices moved up modestly after the Saudi and Russian announcements after both Brent and WTI booked a second losing week in a row last week. The biggest reason for the recent drop in prices looks to be the waning war premium from the war between Israel and Hamas, which appears to be contained for the time being and not a direct threat to Middle Eastern oil supply.

Both branches of the Taurid meteor stream are known for producing relatively slow-moving and often bright meteors, including fireballs.

When can I see the Taurid meteor shower?

Both showers are currently active. The Southern Taurid meteor stream has been active since Sept. 23 and is expected to be visible through Dec. 8. The Northern Taurid meteor stream became active on Oct. 13 and should be visible through Dec. 2.

According to the American Meteor Society, the Southern Taurids will peak in the early evening of Nov 5-6 and the Northern Taurids will peak in the early evening on Nov 11-12.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Infowars reporter and War Room host Owen Shroyer was sentenced to 60 DAYS IN PRISON in September in a DC kangaroo court for his actions on January 6, 2020 and before. Owen will be in prison until Christmas Eve for his “offensive words” spoken on January 6.

An update on X indicates that Shroyer is now facing an additional 30 days in solitary confinement. His official X account shares, “UPDATE: We have received a tip indicating that Owen is now facing 30 days in solitary confinement. He has been moved to another building on the FCI Oakdale prison grounds. We have still not been able to communicate directly. This is the only information we have at this time.”

Upon his arrival to prison, Shroyer was put in solitary confinement for five days because of the facility’s Covid policies.

According to The Post Millennial, he then spent additional time in solitary confinement after the audio of a phone call from prison was released on X as a message to his followers

Shroyer never entered the Capitol building on January 6.

Owen stood outside the Capitol on January 6th and warned Trump supporters not to go inside the building. He did not engage in any violence. The corrupt DC court did not like his political speech that day so they are jailing him – just like they do in any other dictatorships around the world today.

Government prosecutors contend Shroyer “helped create” the riot with rhetoric warning Democrats are tyrannical and that his speech fomented the”insurrection.”

“The Democrats are posing as communists, but we know what they really are: They’re just tyrants, they’re tyrants,” Shroyer said into a megaphone, according to the government’s sentencing memo. “And so today, on January 6, we declare death to tyranny! Death to tyrants!”

Prosecutors noted Shroyer championed Americans who protested the stolen election and “spread election disinformation paired with violent rhetoric to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of viewers” of InfoWars.

South Africa’s government has recalled Monday its ambassador and diplomatic mission to Israel in condemnation of the bombardment of the Gaza Strip, calling it a “genocide”

Filipino Radio DJ Is Shot Dead While On Facebook Livestream

On Sunday, news broadcaster Juan Jumalon, also known as “DJ Johnny Walker,” was shot and killed during a live morning broadcast in Calamba Town in Misamis Occidental province, which is the location of his home-based radio station.

The gunman gained entry into the home by pretending to be a listener and then shot him twice. He later took Jumalon’s gold necklace before running out with a companion, who waited outside the victim’s house onboard a motorcycle, according to authorities.

In response to the horrific attack, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. condemned the shooting and said that he had ordered the national police to track down, arrest, and prosecute the killers.

“Attacks on journalists will not be tolerated in our democracy and those who threaten the freedom of the press will face the full consequences of their actions,” Marcos said in a statement.

Authorities stated that they secured the CCTV footage in the area.

After the incident took place, the DJ’s wife took him to the hospital immediately, but doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.

Additionally, police said that they were not aware of any other threats against Jumalon’s life.

The gunman was not seen on the Facebook livestream, but police are checking the camera footage at the victim’s house and at his neighbors house to see if they had recorded anything.

The Philippines is considered one of the most dangerous places in the world for journalists.

>his article is part of #NarcoFiles: The New Criminal Order, a transnational journalistic investigation into global organized crime, its innovations, its tentacles, and those who fight it. The project, led by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) in partnership with Centro Latinoamericano de Investigación Periodística (CLIP), began with a leak of emails from the Colombian Prosecutor’s Office that was shared with InSight Crime and 32 media outlets around the world.

Israeli crime groups in major Colombian cities have been serving a growing market of tourists seeking sex and drugs, at times expanding into transnational trafficking and alarming authorities in both countries, according to hacked records from Colombia’s Attorney General’s Office. 

The hacked files, most of which are from 2018 to 2022, include phone tap records, arrest and seizure reports, and correspondence between Israeli and Colombian officials, who exchanged information and expressed growing concern about Israeli gangs’ operations in Colombia.   

“We have identified a significant increase in Israeli citizens living in Colombia, who, under the leadership and with the complicity of Colombian citizens, are carrying out a variety of crimes on Colombian territory,” reads an unsigned memorandum of understanding between Colombia’s Attorney General’s Office and Israel’s National Police, dated May 3, 2018.  

The files suggest Colombian and Israeli authorities maintained a close anti-crime relationship in the years following the exchange of the memorandum of understanding, though it is unclear whether the document was ever signed. Israeli officials did not respond to requests for comment, and Colombia’s Attorney General’s Office declined to comment on the document.

Israeli gangs in Colombia largely serve tourist markets and operate primarily in big cities. While most of the gangs have limited or no ties to major players in Colombian organized crime, the files provide evidence of occasional high-level cooperation for transnational cocaine trafficking.  

The files, combined with additional investigation by InSight Crime, give a glimpse into the little-studied phenomenon of Israeli organized crime in Colombia. They also provide a first-hand account of the daily workings of the long-standing relationship between the Israeli and Colombian security establishments before recent tensions between the two countries ruptured a traditionally cooperative anti-crime partnership.

China lent $1.34 trln in 2000-2021, focus shifts from Belt and Road to rescue finance-report

Chinese financial institutions lent $1.34 trillion to developing countries from 2000 to 2021, U.S. researchers at AidData said in a report that showed the world's biggest bilateral lender switching from infrastructure to rescue lending.

While lending commitments peaked at almost $136 billion in 2016, China still committed to almost $80 billion of loans and grants in 2021 according to the data, which captures almost 21,000 projects in 165 low and middle income countries as probably the most comprehensive dataset of its type. Overseas finance has won Beijing allies across the developing world, while drawing criticism from the West and in some recipient countries, including Sri Lanka and Zambia, that infrastructure projects it funded saddled them with debt they were unable to repay. Both the sources and the focus of China's overseas financing, have changed, the data showed.

In 2013, when President Xi Jinping launched the Belt and Road Initiative to build infrastructure across the developing world, China's policy banks accounted for over half of the lending. Their share started falling from 2015 and was 22% by 2021.

The People's Bank of China and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE), which manages China's foreign currency reserves, accounted for more than half of lending in 2021, almost all bailout lending.

"Beijing is navigating an unfamiliar and uncomfortable role— as the world's largest official debt collector," said the report by AidData, a research lab at William and Mary university. Much of China's growing rescue lending is denominated in renminbi, the report found, with loans in the Chinese currency overtaking U.S. dollars in 2020. Overdue payments to Chinese lenders have also risen. One way China is managing repayment risk is through foreign currency cash escrow accounts it controls, AidData said. The arrangement is controversial because it gives China debt seniority, meaning other lenders, including multilateral development banks, could get paid second during any coordinated debt relief.

AidData identified 15 countries, primarily in Africa, with escrow accounts totalling a combined $2.5 billion at their peak in June 2023. The destinations of Chinese overseas lending have also changed. Loan commitments to African countries fell from 31% of the total in 2018 to 12% in 2021, while lending to European countries almost quadrupled to 23%.

A different dataset showed loan commitments to African countries falling to a 20-year low in 2022.

The IRS is investigating the tax-exempt status of the American Accountability Foundation (AAF) following its reporting on President Joe Biden’s nominees, according to a letter obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. The IRS is requesting AAF submit internal financial data as well as communications, including meeting notes, publications and newsletters, according to the letter from the IRS to AAF obtained by the DCNF. The conservative nonprofit organization, which the IRS approved for tax-exempt status in August 2021, alleges the investigation is in retaliation for the AAF reporting on several recent Biden nominees who later withdrew their nominations.

Assistant to Ukraine's top general killed in grenade blast

Valery Zaluzhny has revealed that Major Gennady Chastyakov died during a party celebrating his birthday after a gift exploded (Zaluzhny revealed their failures to the Financial Times two days ago, Zelensky disagreed with his assessment)

Major Gennady Chastyakov, an aide to Ukraine’s top general, Valery Zaluzhny, has been killed in a blast at his home, the commander-in-chief has announced.

The incident occurred on Monday when Chastyakov was celebrating his birthday, Zaluzhny said in a statement posted on social media.

An “unknown explosive device” was concealed inside one of the presents, the commander-in-chief claimed.

Unverified footage circulated by local media and said to have been taken from the site of the incident, however, shows multiple hand grenades scattered among damaged presents. An empty syringe is also visible in the photo. The grenades appear to be DM51/DM51A2 frags, German standard-issue military munitions, whichhave been supplied by Berlin to Kievamid the conflict with Russia.

According to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, preliminary findings indicated that the blast was an accident caused by “careless handling”of the munitions. Apart from killing Chastyakov on the spot, the explosion also seriously wounded his 13-year-old son, who was hospitalized, an Interior Ministry spokeswoman, Maryana Reva, said while speaking live on Ukrainian TV.

Ukrainskaya Pravda newspaper reported, that the exploded present contained “alcohol bottles” and “souvenir grenade-shaped cups.”

Chastyakov's wife claimed the grenade detonated in her husband's hands. The explosive was in a gift bag that he had brought home himself, she said, according to law enforcement sources cited by the newspaper.

The U.S. Government's Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) Office was established with the aim of ensuring transparency for the public.

However, the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) now grapples with an increasing number of accusations related to concealment.

If its purpose was solely to enhance public perception, it appears to have fallen short.

The AARO's second annual report, unveiled in October 2023, was initially leaked to DefenseScoop, and additional insights, along with exclusive comments from its director, Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, were shared with CNN.

Of note, DefenseScoop was given the exclusive scoop on Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks assuming direct oversight of the AARO in August 2023.

This week, many defense reporters, including a correspondent from DefenseScoop, were extended an invitation to pose questions to Dr. Kirkpatrick. This invitation followed the introduction of the new "secure" reporting feature on its website, implemented through Google Forms.

Liberation Times inquired with the Department of Defense (DoD) about why DefenseScoop received the AARO's recent report ahead of other publications. Spokesperson Sue Gough provided the following response:

“I have nothing for you on that.”

This all seems to indicate a new media strategy being implemented by the DoD following Hicks' newly mandated oversight role, as stipulated by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023.

The DoD has now become more assertive with its media strategy, although remains relatively tight-lipped in commenting on the challenges encountered by the U.S. military in their interactions with mysterious objects wielding apparent air superiority.

Commenting to the Daily Mail before the release of the AARO’s delayed first report, one anonymous intelligence source stated:

'They're patting themselves on the back that they've resolved over half of them.

'But we don't give a crap about the ones they've resolved. Yeah, there's balloons up there, and balloons are sometimes mistaken for UAP.

'But there are s***loads of classified videos that are pretty profound and pretty clear.

'They don't want to talk about this stuff, because they really, really don't know what the hell they are. That's the truth.'

The strategy, which centres on emphasizing cases that could be resolved, is evident in the AARO's most recent report. A ‘case closure report’ featured in its appendices references a sighting over the western USA, reported by military personnel, which was evaluated by the AARO as a ‘commercial aircraft travelling on well-established air corridors.’

And the UAP Office has also committed to disclosing another successfully resolved case in the upcoming months. Liberation Times has learned that the AARO will soon share information regarding a transmedium UAP incident. Sue Gough informed Liberation Times that a:

“Previously reported transmedium object has been resolved and the case details are being prepared for public release in the near future.”

The nature of the case remains unclear, and Liberation Times has requested additional information. The most prominent transmedium incidents on record involve UAP that seemingly enter bodies of water.

One such event occurred in 2019 when the USS Omaha documented such an occurrence, and another instance took place in 2013 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico - an event filmed by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection aircraft.

India's Delhi city will restrict the use of vehicles to curb rising pollution as air quality in the capital remains dangerously unsafe for a third consecutive day despite mitigation efforts.

New Delhi ranks among the world's top polluted cities every year ahead of the onset of winter when calm winds and low temperatures trap pollutants from sources including vehicles, industries, construction dust, and crop residue burning in nearby fields.

A thick smog shrouded the federal secretariat and president's palace in the heart of the city early on Monday, local time, and lowered visibility in other parts, as public outrage over hazardous air quality had grown.

As a result, the city extended the closure of primary schools until November 10.

The local government said that it would impose the "odd-even" vehicle rule from November 13-20 to mitigate pollution levels that are expected to rise after the Hindu festival of Diwali on November 12, when firecrackers are often set despite a ban.

The rule would allow vehicles with odd registration numbers on the road on odd dates and similarly vehicles with even numbers on alternate days.

Environmental experts have previously said that the rule, which has been imposed multiple times with some variations since 2016, has been more effective in de-congesting roads and less effective in bringing down pollution.

"In view of rising pollution, odd-even will be imposed in Delhi," Gopal Rai, the local environment minister, told reporters.

He added that a meeting will be held with the police and transport department on Tuesday to decide on the implementation.

Air quality was "severe" for a third consecutive day in the city on Monday, making it the second most polluted city in the world, behind Lahore in Pakistan, according to a real-time compilation by Swiss group IQAir.

A cricket World Cup match involving Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, however, went ahead in the city on Monday with organisers installing air purifiers in the players' dressing rooms and using water sprinklers to reduce pollutants in the air.

Curbs on vehicles are in addition to a ban on construction work for public projects in the national capital region, and restrictions on entry of trucks and heavy vehicles in Delhi, imposed by a federal pollution control watchdog on Sunday.

An analysis of 25 research studies by the Down To Earth magazine, published on Sunday, showed that poor air quality was linked to low birth weight, preterm delivery, stillbirth, developmental delay, restricted growth in children and even death.

BREAKING: The judge presiding over Trump's NYC trial appears to have a peculiar hobby of posting half-naked photos of himself on a high school alumni newsletter he controls as reported on by @MarcoPolo501c3

The 74-year-old judge Arthur Engoron appeared to even post a "Bonus-Torso-Photo" in what looks like the bathroom of a gym.

One set of images seems to be progress pictures. One picture of a frailer, malnourished male (assumed to be Judge Engoron) is labeled October 2020.

Another picture, labeled August 2021, shows the same body, flexing excessively to try and show off his muscle gains.

Judge Arthur Engoron is the editor of the Wheatley School Alumni Association Newsletter, according to a post on the website where the photos were posted.

Fox News host Neil Cavuto pressed White House spokesman John Kirby on Monday about Hamas sympathizers sneaking through the U.S.-Mexico border after a deadly terrorist attack in Israel.

The Justice Department secured an indictment against Sohaib Abuayyash, a 20-year-old Palestinian who was in the United States illegally, on a federal firearms charge Friday. “Do you feel there’s a threat that some nefarious elements, including Hamas members or those sympathetic or inspired by Hamas, to do the same thing here?” Cavuto asked Kirby, referencing the Oct. 7 attack on multiple locations in southern Israel carried out by the radical Islamic terrorist group, and he added: “That maybe they snuck through the border and are here?”

An Oct. 20 memo from the San Diego Field Office Intelligence Division of Customs and Border Protection warned that Hamas and Hezbollah could be infiltrating into the United States through the U.S.-Mexico border. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas was unable to say how many members of the radical Islamic terrorist organizations may have entered the United States through the southern border during testimony at a Senate hearing Tuesday.

“We work in close contact with the Department of Homeland Security and our border patrol agencies to make sure that we can control and vet and to minimize any threat of terrorism coming through our borders, wherever the borders are, maritime or land,” Kirby claimed.“We do that very, very stringently. The process is constantly under review to make sure that we can minimize that threat 100%.”(Bullshit)

Over 2.45 million people have been encountered at the U.S.-Mexico border during fiscal year 2023, according to data released by United States Customs and Border Protection, following 2,378,944 encounters in fiscal year 2022 and 1,734,686 in fiscal year 2021.

“A lot of people do slip through that border, John and the feeling is that given the wider number of countries that are doing so, used to be three or four, up to a dozen, right now better than 140 countries represented going through there, are you worried that this is a huge issue now?” Cavuto asked.

“We’re always concerned about homeland security and making sure that our borders are secure as possible,” Kirby claimed. “That’s one reason the president continues to urge for more money at the border to help us with asylum courts and to help us add more border patrol agents on the ground to improve our technological capabilities there.” (He is not concerned at all. FORMER DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE (DNI) RICHARD GRENELL ALONG WITH AMERICA FIRST LEGAL ARE SUING THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION, ACCORDING TO A COPY OF THE LAWSUIT FIRST OBTAINED BY THE DAILY CALLER NEWS FOUNDATION.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the formation of the “expert” board to address issues of national security in September to include Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan and former CIA Operations Officer Paul Kolbe, who all signed an October 2020 letter casting doubt on the legitimacy of the Hunter Biden laptop and suggesting its release was a Russian disinformation ploy. The latest legal action alleges that the group’s creation was done in an illegal manner and that it lacks credible members, according to the copy of the lawsuit.

The Daily Caller News Foundation, as well as The New York Times, Washington Post, CBS News and other media outlets, authenticated the contents of the Hunter Biden Laptop. Additionally, there is currently no evidence suggesting the laptop was a Russian disinformation operation.

“Once again, by establishing a highly partisan advisory committee packed full of its allies, the Biden Administration has attempted to skirt the legal requirements established by Congress in the Federal Advisory Committee Act,” Gene Hamilton, America First Legal vice president and general counsel, said in a statement to the DCNF.

Both Clapper and Brennan also previously faced criticism for misleading the American public. Clapper once gave Congress“inconsistent testimony” about contacts he had with the media while in office.

Meanwhile, Brennan denied that CIA officials had hacked Senate Intelligence Committee staffers’ computers, a statement that was later proven false.

“In addition to not complying with the simple procedural requirements, the so-called ‘Homeland Intelligence Experts Group’ is an ideologically biased federal advisory committee that the Biden Administration established to rubber-stamp its radical agendaat the Department of Homeland Security–rather than providing independent, objective advice that reflects the views of experts across the ideological spectrum,” Hamilton added.

The board will meet four times a year to advise DHS on intelligence and national security efforts regarding “terrorism, fentanyl, transborder issues, and emerging technology.”

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) asserted that the group is not in violation of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), as the lawsuit suggests, in a statement to the DCNF.

“The Homeland Intelligence Experts Group is designed to generate individualized input based on each expert’s knowledge and facilitate exploration of all sides of an issue. As such, the group is not subject to FACA because it will not be providing consensus advice or recommendations to DHS,” a DHS spokesperson told the DCNF, adding that thegroup is comprised of 17 members “of incredibly experienced, dedicated former public servants and private sector expertswho have served in Administrations of both parties and will provide invaluable perspectives to the work of I&A.”

A legal spokesperson for former President Donald Trump said that the judge in Trump’s civil fraud trial was trying to hush the former president because Trump’s explanations wrecked the case against him.

Trump and attorney Alina Habba clashed with Judge Arthur F. Engoron during the former president’s testimony Monday, with the judge threatening to remove Trump from the courtroom. Engoron ruled that Trump was liable for fraud Sept. 26, and ordered that several business licenses Trump held were to be rescinded, but an appeals court ruling stayed the order Oct. 6.

“There was a fiery exchange with the judge,” Habba told Fox Business host Larry Kudlow. “Frankly, I can’t even say it was with the judge and I… I’m very polite, I’m very professional when I’m in the courtroom, but thejudge did not like him finishing or explaining because it wasn’t good for his case. He is interfering. He made his decision, let’s not forget that, Larry. He made a decision on summary judgment. He found liability already.”

Democratic Attorney General Letitia James of New York sued Trump in September 2022, alleging he overstated the value of real estate holdings in order to obtain loans.

“We’re wasting all this time, and he won’t even let the president, who is the person they’re trying to get to, explain why he certified to certain values,” Habba said.“Why? Because the minute he starts to explain it, it ruins their case. He was worth more than his statement of financial conditions, and Miss James, her politics are not allowing to backtrack. She needs a PR team, I’m telling you.”

Real-estate experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation that Engoron’s ruling greatly undervalued Mar-a-Lago, the Florida estate owned by Trump, which some considered to be worth more than $250,000,000.

“We are obviously going to move to completely dismiss this case. There should be a mistrial based on some of the things you mentioned today that I can’t talk about,” Habba added later. “There should be a mistrial here. Bias in general, I’ll say.There is a judicial code of ethics. Those ethics extend to the entire courtroom and ==when you violate the rules of judicial ethics there need to be certain things that hold you accountable.”

(It makes sense why the judge didn’t require Trump to be there, he wanted to railroad him by judicial fiat.)

A luxury resort operator in Singapore said Tuesday that the personal data of about 665,000 members of its shopping loyalty programme had been hacked.

The breach of Marina Bay Sands was the latest in a string of major cybersecurity incidents reported in the city-state.

Last week public healthcare institutions had their internet access disrupted by a flood of malicious traffic in a so-called distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack.

Marina Bay Sands, which is owned by US casino giant Las Vegas Sands, said it became aware of the “data security incident” on October 20, according to an email sent to some customers on Tuesday and seen by AFP.

“Investigations have since determined that an unknown third party accessed customer data of about 665,000 non-casino rewards programme members,” the message from chief operating officer Paul Town said.

The data was accessed on October 19 and 20. It included the names, email addresses, phone numbers, countries of residence and membership numbers of shoppers, the company said.

“Based on our investigation, we do not have evidence to date that the unauthorized third party has misused the data to cause harm to customers,” Town said.

Town said the membership data of its casino rewards programme appeared to have been unaffected.

Marina Bay Sands was working with a cybersecurity firm to strengthen its systems, Town said.

North Korean leader KIM JONG UN visiting several Singapore attractions on Monday night

SINGAPORE - North Korean leader KIM JONG UN is spending his second night in Singapore on a mini tour that includes some of the Republic's best-known sights such as Gardens by the Bay and the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) integrated resorts.

At around 9.10pm on Monday (June 11), his motorcade was seen leaving the St Regis Hotel in the Tanglin area where his delegation is being housed at, before driving past the Raffles City area towards Marina Bay.

Mr Kim, who arrived in Singapore on Sunday ahead of his historic summit with United States President Donald Trump in Sentosa on Tuesday, stopped by Gardens by the Bay first and is expected to also visit the MBS SkyPark or the nearby Merlion Park.

At around 8pm, the observation deck of the 57th-storey sky park at the MBS, which offers panoramic views of Marina Bay and the central business district, was closed off to the public, ahead of its usual 10pm timing.

MBS staff were seen polishing fingerprints off the glass panels of the observation deck. The Straits Times also saw a heavy security presence comprising MBS personnel and police officers.

Mr Kim, who is North Korea's Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, may also visit other sights such as the Esplanade performing arts centre.

The mini-city tour will cap a rather quiet public schedule for Mr Kim on Monday, compared to his officials and Mr Trump.

Apart from a meeting with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana on Sunday evening, Mr Kim has not been seen stepping out of the St Regis hotel in Orchard Road where he and his delegation are being housed at.

In contrast, Mr Kim's officials were seen earlier on Monday meeting with Singapore and American officials - making courtesy calls or engaging in last-minute talks over the one-day summit.

Mr Trump met PM Lee and also members of the American community in Singapore.

A New York Times/Siena College poll set off a tidal wave of anti-President Joe Biden sentiment for the 2024 race from a handful of big shot liberals who appear to be questioning whether the incumbent is up to the task.

The poll found former President Donald Trump leading Biden in five out of six crucial swing states by substantial margins. Trump polls ahead of Biden in Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Michigan by at least three points — if not 10 — in some cases. Wisconsin is the only other swing state in which Biden holds a slight lead within the margin of error over Trump.

CNN’s David Axelrod sounded the alarm Sunday morning, posting on Twitter, that while Biden should be “proud of his accomplishments” and beating Trump should, in theory, should be easy, “the stakes of miscalculation here are too dramatic to ignore.”

“Only @JoeBiden can make this decision. If he continues to run, he will be the nominee of the Democratic Party. What he needs to decide is whether that is wise; whether it’s in HIS best interest or the country’s?”

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Ed Rendell said in a WABC 77interview with John Catsimatidis that “there is nervousness among the donors and some of the elected officials that Joe Biden won’t be a strong candidate because of doubts Americans have about his health.
