Greetings, fellow mares. What do you think of the new and upcoming human movie that is up and coming? How do you like the cast lineup and the special guests? Will we see the return of longtime heroes like Andrew Jackson to go up against current season villians like George Soros? I for one, am certainly excited to see it. Even though it is a cartoon for little colts, my special somepony and I will be going to the cinema to see it in glorious 16 mm film, because as you know, that is currently the most advanced technology us ponies have.

We've got to do something about these hummies. It's getting weird. Ponies keep asking about my 'hands'. They're not hands, they're talons.
This is going too far. At first it was fine, just a weird little liking of a little foal's show, but now ponies are getting obsessive, looking for anything vaguely relating to humans.

You know it's always fun to see that I watched as a young colt become such a hit with full grown mares. It's going to be a bit odd in the theater but at this point I think it will be more about my age than anything else.
About the idea of a past hero like Andrew Jackson or Teddy Roosevelt making an appearance is slim, but I can guarantee they'll have a mention. I mean the country they helped make is kinda important to all current events in the cannon.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to Conrad S Hauser taking the lead as usual. The antagonists will obviously be some new version of that snake group they go up against. Of course a major factor is just how much of that PG rating was caused by Robert Remus alone. That guy is never not enjoyable. Hoping we at least get a few of the mares of the show to have more than a brief cameo. Here's hoping for Alison R. Hart-Burnett.
Go Joe!!!

That depends on what you thought of the atomic arc. And no, not the splitting of the atoms (elements) subtext, but the characters that were around for the time.

That arc was absolutely amazing story telling. Watching such brilliant and well meaning men forced into a situation where they have to use all of that knowledge for something so destructive.
It also did wonders to differentiate the universe from ours. With creating this massive powerful force that could be used for evil just as easily as good, if not easier.
I know a lot of ponies dislike how different both characters earlier stories went both before and after, but I think it was a fine way to show just how trying that arc was.

Oh please. The awesomeness of the Cold War arc does not make nuclear fission any less a cheap deus ex machina to end the Great War arc. The whole time it felt like something was about to get settled, but then it was just ended with a pair of magical mushroom explosions. I guess they had to find some way to put everything back the way it was for narrative purposes, but that was just a hack move.

Oh yeah, cause massive expenditures of energy don't to anything to alter the course of history, right?
The allied forces had already won. The climax was the bunker scene, but after the head pressers stamped their hooves over not getting a big showy ending they plopped two massive explosions.
If you wanna talk about bullshit arc ends we have the end of the Cold War sitting right there. They had a flacid yet appropriate death rattle for that and proceeded to fuck it up with just spinning their heels with slice of life episodes with messed up economic and social repercussions they weren't thinking about before the 9/11 arc at least brought some life into things. Seriously the only interesting thing that happened during those seasons was what happened to Michael Jackson.

Have you never read the Jackson breakdown theory? It's actually pretty definitive that he never colt cuddled anyone.
If you pay attention to the background humans involved in that whole mess you notice a lot of things that aren't outright stated. Like how all the witnesses testifying on his behalf look like older versions of the kids they say he touched.
There's also a little detail that got put in years later where Corey Feldman stated there was a ring of powerful humans who were into it and would defend anyone in on that kind of activity secretly. It's kind of a shocking out of nowhere detail from a lesser character but it does contextualize why someone who theoretically buy a country for himself would do what they said he did if he was like that.
There's a pretty concise video talking about the theory by some Ewetuber named Razorhoof.

I think the answer to that is right there in the name. Combat Mech is kind of a theoretical thing, but like all things human they tend to make things exclusively for that purpose.
It's hard to think that a dragon of comparable size would be able to take down a huge machine made explicitly for fighting. Leaving out things like sneak attacks and stuff like that. Pretty much going into the ongoing dragon vs tank/aircraft discussions you see all the time.
>>294527
I think they're just humans suffering from some kind of madness. I know something affecting that many individuals at the same time without magic should be basically impossible but you have to remember that the school system in that world is based on making people conform rather than excelling in what they want to do. It isn't that hard to see that kind of system go down a slippery slope.

Whats theoretical about it? Just take a large statue, hollow it out and fill it with magical batteries, use a Come to Life spelll to animate the whole thing and set it up to feed the spell off the internal batteries.
Throw in a control station so a pilot could direct it and some hefty magical guns that can feed off the power you already have in the batteries, and you got yourself a big walking suit of armor or granite armed with lasers, perfect for punching dragons in the teeth.

That's a tough one. Humans can make some pretty kickass stuff, but they're also super frail. Without a tank or a jet I expect they'd be melted a blast of fire before they could even get a shot off. And dragon armor, fucking forget about it, nothing short of a Davy Crockett could penetrate that, and I think we all agree, atomics are stupid and would make the fight be no fun.

Atomic doesn't just mean the big booms we got to see once. If you pay attention to the planning scene for the gulf war they mention that they use depleted uranium in those Sky Chariots. An acquaintance of mine happens to be a Rockologist who moved into town recently. So I asked her what exactly Uranium is. Apparently it's this kind of super metal, it doesn't 'do' anything like hold a spell but it is toxic if not handled correctly. What it is, though, is super dense. She continued to confirm that it would indeed punch holes into steel plates as depicted in the story.
So I don't rightfully know what kind of gear a single human could bring with him/her to a fight, but I have to think that they would have weapons capable of hurting a grown dragon. Which is kind of a scary thought if you've ever seen one.

You know you could probably get extra functionality if you made both buttons into swivel switches manipulating gears and allowed a pony to press on each separately. One for raw letters, the other for spaces, punctuation, and other formatting concerns.

Guys, do you think Earth is actually set in a post-apocalyptic Equestria? I mean, most of the items in the show are obviously designed for ponies, like why on earth would humans put their doorhandles at mouth height?
Speaking of handles, why are human claws called hands? Because they use them to handle things, like door handles. Clever little play on words.
And then there's the humanized names, like Manchester and Manhattan. I know I may be overthinking a little foals show, but what do you think?

How about those railgun things? I know that the really badass ones are on carriers and stuff but I'm sure that a relatively powerful railgun could do something in the right place. Like, I dont know, an eye or something. If our intrepid human was quick enough and the dragon wasn't ready, a good shot in between scales or in the eye could do some serious damage.
Then again, I don't think the actual power of the smaller railguns is mentioned in the show so there's no real way of knowing.

The unicorn ones. You see, not being limited to mashing the whole board with their hooves, since they can just use their magic to push a single key at a time, unicorns don't need high priced, specially build, retard proof keyboards. We haven't really gone into the sciences as far as humans in the show have, right? Most of what we see humans do in the show is quite feasible, actually, and wouldn't take us that long to perfect.
The main problem is the existence of magic, which kinda makes science useless for day-to-day life.

Why are you using a computer designed and made by unicorns, programmed by unicorns and maintained by unicorn technicians since, lets be honest here, you filthy fuckers couldn't handle a screwdriver if you lives depended on it and its bad for the hardware to be covered in saliva?
Why do you go to the hospital for healing magic from a unicorn doctor when you get sick?
Why do you wear clothes made from materials that can only be woven together by machines and are designed overwhelmingly by Unicorns?
Hell, most of the products you use in your daily life are made on machines designed and run by unicorns.
If we all left society to you mudponies, we'd be living in mudhuts working 16 hours a day in order to barely have enough food to survive at the end of the day while waging constant wars against the cows and sheep over every blade of grass around.

Lmao I wish but it's fiction. Maybe one day when we nuke the peninsula. Chrysalis' changelings are so fucking insufferable. I hear they don't even like dancing.

Silver Spoon, fillies aren't allowed on this website.
Speaking of, why are there so many ponies from Ponyville on here?

Dont Central Equestria (ponyville and canterlot) have their own server? I think that's why. Pretty sure you have to configure port forwarding if you want to post here specifically from places like Manehattan or Fillydelphia

Why would you want anyone from Manehattan or Fillydelphia posting here? There's nothing but retarded mud ponies living there.
Next you'll get geldings who think Apple computers can play good games or that Appleloosa is a center of fashion for Celestia's sake.

What fanfics are you readan you autistic fucks? I've been getting into some of Tolkien's stories. I know you girls hate the whole "magic in Humania" genre, and yeah most of it is cancer, but honestly Lord of the Rings is one of the best things this fandom ever produced.

How big of a fucking autist do you have to be to write a trilogy that almost rivals Fallout Equestria in length?

That's not even the half of it. Humfiction mods have been going through her account since she stopped posting and found dozens of unfinished stories that outstrip Fallout Equestria and Project Horizons combined. Autism is a beautiful thing, isn't it?

I like humans because they're so easy to draw. I could never get hooves right, but fingers are just five little tubes around the palm. I think that's an important part to what made the series so accessible for all kinds of creative ponies.
