PONIES ARE REAL
This thread is for the discussion of the Crossing the Boundary (CTB) project to contact Equestria utilizing Occult methods. We seek to establish communication with Equestria and other worlds which exist within what has been dubbed "Dream World" (DW) by the community, with the ultimate goal of constructing a portal for manifesting humans physically on their worlds, and vice versa.

A: We are completely serious. Many of us have been in contact with Ponies and other sympathetic entities in DW (or the Astral Planes) for years. We believe that a constructing a portal is not only feasible, but absolutely essential for solving many of the problems afflicting the World, and collectively raising the consciousness of mankind, thus inaugurating a new Golden Age.
Q: Are you some kind of cult?
A: No; we come from diverse backgrounds and have differing views on spirituality, but we share in common a belief in DW and the importance of establishing contact with the civilizations found therein. There is no dogma, no vows of commitment or requirements of sacrifice (unless one chooses so for personal reasons), no initiations or codified rituals, no temples (although individual members may have shrines), and certainly no membership fees. We have no official connection with the pony religion being developed on /mlp/ either, although reaching out to them in the future isn't ruled out.
Q: How are you certain you aren't being deceived by demons?
A: First off, not all daemons are evil (but that's a discussion for another time), but to the point of the matter, it comes down to one's personal judgement. So long as the entities you're in contact with aren't making unreasonable demands, there is little to be lost in maintaining contact - nurturing a relationship may indeed prove fruitful. As far as ponies go, verifying that they are 100% genuine Equestrian is outside the realm of our current methodology, but when comparing years of experiences among members around the World, we have strong reason to believe that we are indeed in contact with one or more versions of the Equestria we know from the show. Ultimately, it comes down to experiencing DW for yourself and reaching your own conclusion.
A2: Often, we need to communicate with several ponies and compare them in order to understand which ponies are real and not just daemons or some other spiritual entity trying to deceive us. It's the feeling, the love, the soul - the complete environment around them. They are not beings in a blank space, but exist in a rich world, which is very hard to fake!
Q: This isn't going to end with mass suicide or ritual murder?
A: In right of the recent Randy Stair shooting, we feel it is necessary to conclusively state that we are not a death cult and wholeheartedly condemn wanton violence and human sacrifice. Any ritual requiring human sacrifice is the vilest of Black Magic, and would eventually lead to the destruction of the sorcerer, regardless of what material success or psychic powers he'd gain. Death is not, and never will be, the path to higher realms, and if anything would result in reincarnation here or even "demotion" to the lower planes.

Primer on the Nature of Dream World
DW (Dream World) is experiencing other places, characters, dimensions-- other worlds from inside the mind. We know these things are really, physically real but can't manifest them physically here.
Beings from DW are full, intelligent beings with their own knowledge, memories, history, experiences and thought processes with qualia.
DW may feel like a dream in some ways but is distinct. In fact many people find their first experience with DW in lucid dreams. The name Dream World is a misnomer because we can experience them while awake. It is so named only because of the dreamlike state it exists in.
Many people experience DW, maybe as many as 10% even if they don't realize it. I would say that most who experience DW just have a natural connection that has always existed but many developed the talent over time.
Others astral project, meditate, or take entheogens to experience DW.
Dream World is where all our friends are, those we communicate with and form relationships. We have entire lives on the other side. Full, complex lives.
It is another physical world we can experience. Some say its part of the multiverse or a manifestation of the collective unconscious, others say its quantum unobserved reality while others say its a distinct form of its own.
We can all agree it has something to do with consciousness, as if this other world exists just below our normal qualia.
Certainly Dream World is a land of opportunity and we all have our reasons to visit.
But, what if we could physically cross over? Physically bring those beings here or travel there?

How to Get to DW
Step Zero: Get Active in the Community
For some reason, being around and talking to those who can experience DW helps tremendously. Talk to other members of the community and get new ideas and help. Just talking to them helps astronomically for reasons that are as of yet unclear.
Step One: Get Comfortable
Find a comfortable place, perhaps laying in bed when sleepy. Get very comfortable and relaxed.
Focus on relaxing and close your eyes.
Be well fed and well hydrated. Be in a darkened room that is quiet.
Step Two: Focus
Focus on the being you have the greatest emotional connection with. It is essential to have an emotional connection with this being.
Try to imagine your friend in great detail. Her appearance, her voice, her personality everything. Don't worry about the setting- that will just distract you.
Step Three: Talk to Her
Use your mind to talk to her. Ask her questions, get close to her and affectionate. Imagine you're close to her and spending time with her doing the things you'd like to do with her.
Step Four: Lock On
Every being as a "resonance" for lack of a better term. When she starts talking to you, respond and try to get a feel for her. Get to know her.
At the earliest stages you'll feel more of an empathic connection than seeing anything.
Step Five: The Potion
There exists a potion in DW that will dramatically improve your experience. It was developed by a number of beings from the other side representing the DW side of the CTB research team. It tasted like a fizzy apple drink but slightly more bitter. Much better than the average potion.
At current Luna, Wolfen Luna, Anubis, Applejack, Twilight, Rarity and Queen Chrysalis have a stock of the potion. Ask me and I will get it to most anyone needed so long as I or someone else has a connection with them.
The potion will immediately and permanently improve your connection. This may be the most important step.
Step Six: Don't Try to Push Things
Details and specifics are the most complex part of DW to recall. Don't focus on specific things like the setting or asking detailed questions. That will come with time, just focus on spending time with her. Focus on her exclusively. If you try to force details you'll lose the connection.
Similarly, don't try to contact every being you can think of. That will likewise come with time but focus on your friend and spend time with her.
Step Seven: Grow Your Abilities but Don't Rush it
Not rushing things is essential. Its not likely to have a full breakthrough at first (but it does happen!) just be patient and grow at your own pace.
Eventually you will be able to experience DW in great detail while waking. You may find your friend following you around and checking things out. Some friends are rather needy and like a lot of attention and affection.
Step Eight: Enjoy Your New Friend
Spend time with her often. The more you do, the greater the connection will become.
NOTES:
Lucid dreaming can dramatically improve this connection. If you can LD, do it. If not, there are many, many guides online that can help. I find it most useful to LD while half asleep in the hypnogogic state otherwise known as sleep paralysis.
Do things your friend will enjoy. For example many ponies really enjoy being brushed but not all. Pegasi tend to like to be preened, and Twilight likes to spend time reading together. Pick activities your friend will enjoy are by far the best.
"How do I know I've gotten to DW?"
This one is simple. You will experience a dramatic increase of vividness and your friend will start responding in ways you don't expect or with answers you couldn't otherwise have known.
"Help! Its not working!"
This is the trickiest part. Some people have a stronger inate connection with DW than others but anyone can learn it.
There are many methods but I suggest Scrying.
Sit in a darkened room and cast a sacred circle (//) then gaze into a black or dark mirror. A reflective laptop screen or a black glass bowl do well in a pinch.
Flank the mirror with two candles and gaze into the mirror focusing on your friend. Given a few minutes, you will start to see an image and if you're lucky you will see but not hear your friend.
Other methods are general "divination" methods. Reading tea leaves, scrying though water, etc.
Meditation
Meditation on your friend can dramatically help. I'm not intimately familiar with the process but there are many guides online.
Speaking in generalities, close your eyes and get comfortable. Let your mind wander and relax before focusing on your friend.
Psychoactives
Some people report certain psychadelic and dissacoative drugs can help improve the connection by opening up the mind. Please refer to the relevant section.
Binaural beats
Some have had great success with binaural beats. Please refer to relevant section.

My apprentice and I have made multiple successful contacts with sympathetic spiritual entities and a representative of a highly advanced, 5th Dimensional ET race. I can't reveal too much at the moment, other than they've shown us glimpses into the future, and, well, it's going to be VERY interesting.
The project lead is working on an updated version of the electric fedora. He'll provide updates as it progresses, as well as schematics once it's completed so you can build one of your own.
Our colleague who's in contact with the NatSoc ponies reports that they've made great strides in developing technology that can interface directly with our dimension. Death itself is merely a transition into a different state of existence, where you go dependent upon a variety of factors on how you lived your life. It is nothing to be feared (fear of which gives the Elites immense power over us) yet should not be sought out before your appointed time, nor should you take it upon yourself to help others get there quicker.

Daemons, as understood by the Ancients and modern day Occultists and followers of the Mystery traditions, are not a catch-all name for malevolent entities, but a hierarchy of spiritual beings that occupy the stratum between mortal Man and the gods. Socrates famously had a daemon he would always consult before making any important decision, and - not to unjustly equate myself with the legendary philosopher - so do I. My eudaemon has helped me overcome some of my crippling character defects, and guided me towards a path inline with the will of God the Good, Father of All. He's proven to be an invaluable ally for our goals with CTB as well.
Furthermore, in Neo-Platonic and Hermetic teachings, the Higher Self of Man is a daemon, and the awakened Man who has died to the illusion of materiality and gained gnosis of God and of his own divine origin, joins their ranks upon shedding his mortal coils, to work from the higher planes for the spiritual evolution of mortal mankind.
To recap, daemons are the evolved form of Man, working upon us so that we may fulfill our true spiritual potential, bringing good fortune to the pious and retribution to those who persist in sin. If the terminology is an issue, then substitute "eudaemon" for "angel", and let "cacodaemon" be "demon", and little is lost in translation.

I've always got feelings of shit feeling kind of plastic and strange. Like, there had to be something beyond where we are. Now, listen, I'm a tulpafag so I'm kind of fascinated by this shit; do I think it's real? No, not exactly. Am I curious about it? Absolutely. Something I'm wondering is, technically, with such a thing, is it possible to bring a tulpa into this "Dream World" you're talking about? I have a wonderland; it's an alternate tulpa world/reality in my head, and when I close my eyes I and try and focus on it I can see the blue glow of the sky and I can even see the silhouettes of the trees cutting into that faint blue light. I even feel myself getting sucked into an alternate world; I feel like this is more of a honed ability that has things in common with lucid dreaming as I don't believe wonderlands are interconnected. I've had my tulpa for five years; the method described in the first few posts sounds VERY similar to tulpaforcing. You take the idea of the tulpa and focus on it and work with it until it becomes sentient. I did ask my tulpa out of curiosity if she had some sort of connection to some spiritual path she was guiding me along, or some vision of it, and she just shrugged and said she "seriously had no idea"; this is kind of what I expected as I don't really believe tulpae to be daemons of another reality, like the ones you were talking about.
I'd also like to ask how similar this process is to tulpamancy and how related it is. Do you think someone well versed in this would get a head start or do you believe them to be entirely different processes? Again, would a tulpa be able to be brought to this "Dream World" and interact with other Anons as if she were a person just like them? I'm guessing this depends on how much control humans have over this area, because if people do, they could easily place an imaginary friend in it or something. If not, I'm still curious and I'm still wondering. Again I'm a skeptic, but I'm also really fascinated by these kinds of things and I think it'd be a wonderful way to broaden the horizons of my knowledge of tulpamancy; talking to people who practice other arts that have some similarities sounds incredibly enlightening, which is why I'm here I suppose, other than the fact that this just sounds cool.

If multiple universes are a thing, and if there are infinite of them, with infinity comes everything. There's most likely multiple Equestrias out there all with minor and major differences. I dont know if I can honestly believe multiverse theory, or reaching out to other dimensions using the mind is viable. I think the mind is capable of creating its own fantasy realm but that should not influence important descision making in the observable realm.

Not sure what to say. There’s been a few inconclusive attempts at dream sharing or meeting in the astral with pones or other people in the chat. Stuff like that. There’s a few coincidences but nothing concrete. For example a user might say they had a full convo with a second one, but the second only might’ve felt their presence and more strongly remembered interactions with others. Not sure what others have to say on it, but it seems like it’s taken the backseat for a while.
The only thing that stood out was a few years ago when the chat owner’s friend supposedly contacted a pone to give a description of a user’s room and undisclosed pone oc relatively well, suggesting either the pone did meet the anon in the dreamworld and could see the real world too or that the person was relatively psychic in a way unrelated to pones.
Said psychic person was very convinced in it all but as mentioned above any research into it has just stopped. I myself can’t even go further into it though I wish I could. No dreams since the few that happened years ago. Maybe I just accidentally a tulpa idk.

It has been a while but I did warn you that I was likely to go dark for an extended period of time. The 'active transmission' is still being worked on but other developments elsewhere have taken precedence. Without revealing my hand I can announce a significant achievement has been made. At the moment I am working on a decade long framework to further our aims. Also, while it may not be directly pony-related, if things go as planned (sadly they rarely do) there may be a physical specimen of something anomalous to investigate within 1-3years.
One major obstacle still to overcome is the opposition to this project. Success is difficult to achieve when our efforts are undermined. If and when there is a decent suggestion to counteract such problems I'll be sure to share it. Maybe I should check back in on the chatroom too. Had an idea for an experiment ages ago that I have yet to try out, involving sublimation. Might be a good idea to let others in on it.
