interesting, new to me.
but TBH at first glance it reminds me of the end section of Protocols of Zion, where they spell out the need for at least SOMEONE to have absolute power and interestingly enough that criminal courts shouldn't be allowed to have defense lawyers and technically, only truth finders.
My 1949 Harvard Press World History doesn't even hint of any Holocaust, only says that pre-War Nazi regime got some bad press overseas regarding dealing with Jews, but what jumped out at me was that "kings" in Germany were being elected by various bodies, not by birth. Sounded like something similar to how Saudis (or Catholic church) elects a new leader from some assembly of leaders, and can even depose them in spite of ruler on paper having complete power.
Some old record of pre-Christain German town govt structure sounds pretty democratic, and includes lots of basically socialism and welfare.
It was a bunch of papers passed down in some family. Forgot name (smh).

There's a lot of good stuff in there. New Testament contains a lot of Anti-Semitism if you know where to look. Like Jesus flipping tables and kicking the Jews out of the Temple. The Tower of Babel has a very similar message to Icarus. The Book of Job is also a good read. I'd recommend 3 things if you actually want to earnestly study Christianity, Orthodox Study Bible, Ignatius Catholic Study Bible and (if you ignore the articles and just read the commentaries from the Church Fathers, the reason is that it's put out by Baptist Premillennial Dispensationalists) The Ancient Faith Study Bible. I grew up a Jehovah's Witness, no longer religious but explored the historic Church when I was getting out of it. If I were to go back, I'd either go Catholic or Orthodox, for what it's worth.

I mean, you can just read the stories if you're only interested in the mythology. I'll admit, a lot of it drags. It's meant to be a liturgical book, which is why it's so dry. The whole idea that the average guy just reads it like a book and interprets it himself is an idea that didn't come up until the Reformation.
