Me too. I woke up at my gf's house. Slept well. Eeyore was outside all night, so he's happier now that he's eaten and laying in my lap, pawing at my beard. He's trying to push the laptop off onto the floor.
I hadn't had an Oxy since yesterday morning, so woke pretty focused on pain, but now that the Oxy is kicking in I'm remembering all the important shit I have to do today, but can still barely move. On the bright side, it feels like I'm healing! This body keeps breaking down, they keep removing parts and Jerry-rigging the "other" parts, and it continues breaking down. I had never planned on living long enough to suffer in these ways, but I do like me some good sufferin'! Looks like I may get moar.

“This case is about the Secretary’s ongoing violation of her mandatory statutory duty to promulgate an Elections Procedures Manual (“EPM”) for the 2022 election cycle,” reads Brnovich’s court filing dated April 21. “To cure that ongoing violation, Plaintiffs are entitled to special action relief ordering the Secretary to comply with the mandatory requirement of providing a legally-compliant EPM to the AG and Governor for approval.”
Brnovich asked that the court order Hobbs to amend the election procedures manual by adding election integrity measures, including prohibiting unstaffed drop boxes, requiring signature verification for non-mailed early ballots, and preserving the requirement that voters vote in their precinct, according to a June 10 statement on the AG’s website.

Neither the therapist nor her young former patient have been identified, but now the woman's husband, James Haak, has spoken out to the press to try to ensure the 16-year-old is treated as an adult by the justice system.
The judge is currently deciding how the boy will be tried by the courts, and no trial has begun.
The teenager has been charged with assaulting and harassing the Harris County public servant, but if he is convicted as a juvenile he may be released by the time he reaches 18, in just a couple of years' time.
Whereas, if tried as an adult, he faces a minimum sentence of five years—but could face up to life behind bars.
Haak told Fox 26: "The only remedy that she has in this case is that he be incarcerated; we don't think that he could be rehabilitated.
"Let's face it, she was beat up. She was locked in a room, beat up, and raped. She didn't have a way to call for help; they had given them a radio, which he ripped the batteries out of."
"She can't be in public, she doesn't trust men. She can't do therapy anymore. I doubt that she will ever be able to do therapy with a male in a locked room, and that's what confidentially is all about."
She has had to quit the job she worked so hard for, Haak added, saying: "She put a lot of herself into the job, and he took that away."
Describing his wife's desire to help troubled children after raising her own family, he said she went back to school after a nearly 20-year career in oil and gas. She gained a master's degree and a license in family therapy, and began working at the juvenile probation center for Harris County.
The juvenile had been due to speak with a therapist and requested one who could Spanish. Haak's wife went to meet him, but police claim once they were locked in a room together he raped and strangled her.
The court is set to reconvene on Tuesday, where the judge will decide on how the teenager should be tried.

SVR describes veteran historian’s death as a “personal tragedy”
Retired Russian intelligence officer Lev Sotskov has been found dead at his Moscow apartment, authorities said on Wednesday. Police say that initial information suggests the 90-year old retired major-general used a pistol he’d received as a gift from Mongolian colleagues to commit suicide.
Sotskov’s body was discovered by his wife around noon on Wednesday, inside the bathroom of their apartment in southwestern Moscow, Russian media reported, citing police sources. He had a gunshot wound to his head.
“According to initial information, the cause of death was suicide,” police told the media. Next to Sotskov was a Tokarev TT-30 semi-automatic pistol, along with a note explaining where it came from.
“The pistol is a relic of the battles on the Khalkhin-Gol River. I received it when I was an envoy to the Mongolian secret service, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Ulan-Bator, in 1989. - L. Sotskov,” it read.
The veteran had a number of serious medical conditions and had repeatedly told his relatives that he was “tired of living,” newspaper Kommersant reported.
Born in Leningrad in 1932, Sotskov joined the KGB in 1959, spending more than 40 years in foreign and central intelligence of the Soviet Union and then Russia. The KGB’s First Chief Directorate was succeeded by the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) in 1991.
“Unfortunately, a major general and worthy veteran of the Foreign Intelligence Service, has passed away,” said Sergey Ivanov, head of the SVR press office, describing Sotskov’s death as a “personal tragedy” for the service.
After retirement, Sotskov dedicated himself to history, combing through the SVR archives to write several books about the intelligence service’s work. He received a special SVR prize in 2006, for his book ‘Operation Tarantula,’ detailing Soviet intelligence activities targeting British politicians and spies between 1930 and 1945.
Sotskov had also published documents showing that the June 1941 invasion of the USSR by Nazi Germany was not as unexpected as official histories of the time had maintained.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte has called to equip Ukrainian forces with enough weapons and gear to defeat the Russian military, arguing that Kiev must deal the blows as “direct confrontation” between NATO and Moscow is still off the table.
