I ask because mask mandates and enforcement appears to vary from country to country,
I am in the EU and have recently stopped wearing one, as the level of compliance is ridiculous. I have noticed previously polite shop staff become very aggressive and demand to see my private medical data, I inform them that this is against the law here, even the face mask law says they cannot demand to see evidence that you are exempt, but they chose to ignore it and continue to demand private data in the form of a letter from my GP or threaten to call the police, who can fine you or even imprison you. I have forged a letter to try and embarrass some of the shop staff next time they try to do this.
Do you have any similar experiences? What is the situation like in your country? Texas and other places with sensible people need not make fun of us cucked euros, we have it tough enough as is.

Very rarely. I live in rural America, when I drive to the nearest Ace hardware store they do have a sign that asks you to wear a mask but most people do not, and there are no problems, no one cares. Most local diners don't ask either, although some employees will wear them depending which one and and in which town. Out there there are no mask mandates, it's really up to individuals and business policy. I will wear one only if I must have one for their service, and after doing so, it goes right back off into my truck.

I wear a paintball mask. It's black and covers my mouth and nose, but I can breathe through it without restriction. It works in most places unless a karen looks too closely.
