Well that's that. What little connection to the glorious past of 8ch.net/pol is now gone. While 8ch.net still links here, allowing 8kun to ride its coattails, and thus you could say 8chan wasn't completely dead… but now it is because this 8kun is now on the level of 4chan since VPN use has been blocked recently and won't allow you to post.
This means that your IP is logged like a user account and all your posts are connected and linked to you. Just like 4chan. That was one of the main reasons 8chan became popular in the first place, because it was an alternate to 4chan that let you use a VPN.
Don't get data mined. Don't post here anymore without a VPN. Which now means don't post at all.
Posting a thread works flawlessly when I removed my VPN for this thread; it's been a slow rot as using a VPN here has gotten glitchy for awhile until now it completely doesn't work. Too bad, I have a lot of good threads ready to go that I refuse to post without a VPN.
Is there any VPN that does still work here? Did they just block my individual VPN? If not, then this will be my last post on this place. Been here for many years. Sad day. Is there anywhere else to go? Goodbye.

Most VPN's are a source of persistent abuse.
While some sell users a fixed IP overseas- most just function on a random IP pay per use basis that is basically there to facilitate spam.
What you say may or may not be true; but almost every site on the web blocks VPN's. Many sites block known VPN IP's, any all block previously abused IP's.
Tor is compromised, it was years ago due to node takover, deep packet inspection and that's not even considering machine vulnerabilities.
The internet enables mass surveillance, trying to use the internet to avoid surveillance is laughable.
If you want to avoid surveillance meet with real people in the real world, this takes far more manpower to police than ZOG has available and forces them to assume real risk for interfering in your life.
