These types of situations are never as clear cut as they seem on the surface. There's usually plenty of variables that occur over the span of 6 or more months in some cases. I was done with this one bitch, heartbroken over another one, and with bills stacking up suicide looked to be the best option. Things went wrong and I ended up in prison instead. Prison obviously kinda sucks sometimes, but to be quite honest, it can actually be pretty fun too. You get years of your life to do nothing but sit around and play cards, and smoke weed, and get drunk, and hang out, and nobody expects a single thing from you since you're in prison. Plus it's the only time of my adult life outside of the Marines that I ever had the ability to see a doctor without getting sued once I inevitably wasn't able to pay my medical bills. I don't think people really realize how little being locked up means to most people. It's free rent, free food, free healthcare, and you don't have to do a goddamn thing. Minus not having internet and not having access to the music you like unless you listen tot he kind of garbage that plays on the radio, it can be a pretty sweet gig.

For real though. One of my "retirement" plans is to make my way to some scandinavian country and do something worthy of a life sentence so I can spend out the rest of my days in one of their prisons. I'm not just saying this shit to be funny, they really do seem like a nice way to live out your life if you really don't want to participate in this bullshit society anymore. I can't understand what they're so afraid of either, maybe their QoL as a whole is just on such a different level as over here in burgerstan that even a cell which is legit nicer than any apartment I've ever been able to afford seems like a serious downgrade to them.

Really, I'd probably just do some little stuff to get my foot in the door and then once I was in I'd start doing stuff to add time to my sentence until I felt like I could sleep peacefully without fear of being released after only a year or so.
You never want to do something major like kill somebody and get hit with the life sentence flat out, because once you're locked into that, you're stuck. I only said life sentence because I know I could turn a 1 year sentence into however long I actually wanted it to be. I've been facing 50 years before, and it's actually a pretty heavy thing to have to deal with day in and day out knowing that depending on what the judge decides your life could be fully over.

I can deal with loss of privileges, I dealt with it fairly often during the first part of my last bit where I figured they were gonna hit me with attempted murder so why give a fuck about anything else, and proceeded to legitimately not give a single fuck about anything.
They once made me spend about a month straight in the padded cell, butt ass naked except for what's known as a "turtle suit", pissing and shitting in a hole in the floor, no bed or anything to sleep on. Literally just a suicide proof room with two cameras and lights that stay on 24 hours a day. You can only eat food that doesn't require utensils so all you ever eat is a bag of chips, a sandwich, and an apple. Not even allowed books or anything. Just laying around naked in a completely empty room 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, staring at the ceiling.
I'd just start destroying the facility to get more time probably. Or assault the COs. Those two things are fun and the end result is always just me getting to live in a room completely by myself which is the way I want to live out the rest of my life anyways. The worst time I've ever done was in a medium security, open-dorm style prison. Having to live in a giant room filled with a hundred or more legit niggers(not talking blacks here, but legit.fucking.niggers.) and snoring ass mother fuckers. But even that isn't so bad once you get use to it. But I'd rather they just put me in seg and leave me alone except to let me out to shower at least every 3 days. I've lived it, and if you're a complete loner like me, it really aint that bad.
Those countries are so cucked that I can't even see their disciplinary actions being bad. I couldn't see them ever refusing me books or something, and reading is legit one of the best ways to do time. Even in the padded cell where I wasn't allowed any "real" books to read, they'd still hand me a bible to read sometimMetnally and physically, I'm built for shit like prison. I honestly tend to do better the worse and worse things get.

I also just recently watched the new season of "world's toughest prisons," or whatever it's called, on Netflix and they went to a German prison, and it was kinda dirty and shitty looking, but everything else about it looked great.
And yea, it is legit torture. The good thing about it though, is that once you're in there, you know shit can't get any worse, so there's honest to God not a single thing in life to be worried about. And once you reach the point where it turns you into another person, nothing they can do to you will ever really bother you ever again, which when it comes to being locked up means you win because it doesn't really bother you anymore. Best thing to do is just embrace being locked up and all the fucked up shit you have to deal with, like being tortured, lol, and go all in and convince your brain that the outside world doesn't exist anymore. Allow yourself to let go of who you were and become the animal they thought you were from the get go anyways and your time will fly by.
