I think in a way we are each a reflection of God's essence. Not to say that we are other people's Gods, but that we are the ruler of our own lives. I say this to an extent, to emphasize our God given gifts of freewill. There is certainly a God, or a higher power, however you want to put it.

Since our bodies are made up mostly of water, I think it's pretty fitting to compare ourselves to those phases. There are 3 phases, just like there are 3 bodies in a person. Mind, body, soul : Vapor, solid, liquid.

The heart is said to be the seat of the soul, so maybe it is the bridge between the mind and the body. Maybe liquid is the bridge between solid and vapor, as i understand water has to become a liquid before it can turn into vapor.

Anyways, being a solid being in physical reality- to me, this tells me that we are all mostly unconscious throughout life. We may think we are conscious to an extent, yet if we truly understood how unconscious we were at the same time, then we would have a better perspective on how conscious we really are.

Death may be a passing into a higher dimension.. or a lower one. Maybe that depends on how well you do in this life. Not so much as a heaven or hell type of thing, more of what our higher selves are better suited towards. This is just speculation, I don't know what death truly entails but I do think I know what life is about. Life is about death, it's about what we do before the final curtain. The bardo, the judgement, it all adds up to what we believe ourselves amount to afterwards. Do we truly deserve paradise? Maybe we get closure, but the certain thing i can fathom is that we get to wave goodbye to physicality. If we do carry on a certain type of awareness after death, then that awareness would be unfathomable as we are currently experiencing it. We may just lay dormant, unaware that we are unaware. Truly one with the void, the unconscious, the abyss. It is always staring at us, waiting patiently. I am just speculating.
