Communism needs illiterate population take hold.
American universities less and less accept students for technical studies and give good grades for simply being socialist or getting a gender studies decrees, which doesn't favor smarter population of men and leads them to not take part in university life and go into seclusion (not always with positive outcome, sometimes becoming leftist anyway because of internet addiction to websites like reddit).
Common core damaged schools not just to favor black kids, but also to make white kids more dumb and not apply for higher education because nobody wants you to have a better job related to science.
Everyone is addicted to consumerist goods and low tier propaganda bait on the media that keeps printing outrageous articles that people keep taking seriously. That also contributes to dumbing population down because men busy fulfilling useless desires of freely available entertainment have no motivation to learn anything new and therefore don't become smarter.
Everything for a man who knows seems outrageous and insane, but in reality appealing to uneducated masses in order to change the system in favor of those who control the propaganda machine.
