China is re-drawing the global trade map, and most current and future conflicts are going to stem from this in the next 20 years.

We are currently standing in a room full of elephants as the world once again hangs on the verge of war.

The true extent of the conflict we are about to face may not be apparent to many citizens around the world.

This is a warning.

>TL;dr

Global trade dominance of the US is not under threat, it's already contested.

First separate global trade into two types:

Real trade- the phisical movement of resources and goods.

Fake trade- the complex web of digital trading, insurance, currency and security exchange, copy-write and patents, finance and debt trading.

Now look at what each type is reliant on.

Real trade requires physical infrastructure and physical security.

Fake trade requires communication. Diplomatic power, economic stability, finance and all the rest of it are entirely dependent on communication.

The US has built a powerful web of currency trading, stock exchanges, insurance and financial bodies, treaties, patents and currently derives it's power through them.

The Chinese are rebuilding the world's largest real trade network, with infrastructure and heavy industry at it's core.

The Chinese do not and never have respected or cooperated with US stock trading, patents, free trade, diplomacy, or communication.

The US has never respected China's Physical security and the real value of Chinese held resources.

Two starkly contrasted economic systems- why as China's influence grown they have not adopted the tactics of the US?

Now look at the fragility of global trade:

Key resources like Iron ore, crude oil, staple crops are largely moved by sea- and there are a handful of choke points which could cripple global shipping overnight (Panama, Suez, Persian/Arab gulf, strait of Gibraltar, Bosporus straight, Baltic). These could be obstructed by a single unit of men even in the face of entire commands. A liner sinks, a dirty bomb, naval mines, short range missiles, suicide boats- you just can't defend them without regional cooperation and major military threats.

The global IT network relies on a handful of cables, satellites and it's soft IT infrastructure.

Without these there is no free trade, insurance, mercentilism, tarrifs, real time trading, stock market, FOREX, lending. Everythign shuts down.

These cables are critically venerable across their entire length and have already been sabotaged on a number of occasions (but you never hear about that right?)

Satellites are also critically venerable across their entire orbit- from a limited number of stationary positions you could realistically bring down every satellite in orbit and challenge the handful of fixed orbital stations.

The soft infrastructure that underlies this network is equally venurble, held together by a patchwork of data banks and security algorithms that can already be challenged by next generation supercomputers in both the US and China and potentially in many other locations along the hard infrastructure network.

This is a scenario where a total blackout is possible if not inevitable.

The other key element is strategic stockpiles and production hubs.

Vast reserves of strategic resources, oil refineries, steel plants, farming regions, clearwater reserves, power plants etc.

Many are already cut off, coastal and in conflict zones and a number have already been physically challenged.

Disclaimer: this post and the subject matter and contents thereof - text, media, or otherwise - do not necessarily reflect the views of the 8kun administration.

1042fd  No.126474

We can already see these networks are primed for collapse and all sides are preparing for this.

Global gold reserves have gone missing, fuel stockpiles are rapidly increasing, resource pipelines are being hardened against attack and secondary trade routes are being built all over the world.

Oil trade has been threatened off the coast of Iran, refineries have been attacked by drones and shipping routes have been threatened by short range missiles, Oil producing countries like Mexico, Venezuela, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman and many smaller producers are all in or prepared for armed conflict.

Key water resources are similarly threatened and continual sources of regional conflict in India/Pakistan, Central Asia, East Africa, Australia, Brazil, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar

The Chinese have made a massive push to build dams along many of these rivers- as they are the only way to secure agricultural resources in their respective catchments.

Threats can be classed under three overlapping factors:

Passive control/ systematic influence- who can control how much is produced and who it is available to

Physical operation- who is physically maintaining and running these operations/facilities

Physical security- who can protect these facilities against sabotage, occupation and destruction.

Again, we can see a clear separation of the US and China's approach.

Both are fighting for passive influence through trade power, corruption, diplomatic threats and gunboat diplomacy

The US strongly favors the latter, since it's establishment the US has used gunboat diplomacy to gain influence- while the Chinese have favored trade power.

The Chinese have sought to buy, build and operate strategic resources/facilities around the world.

The US on the other hand have threatened the physical security of whatever the Chinese control physically.

Basically the global dynamic:

>everyone pays the US indirectly through non-phisical trade systems

>China takes control of phisical infrastructure

>US prepares to destroy infrastructure if China does not cooperate.

From time to time this needs to be underlined by physical attacks and threats, where the Chinese brandish their control over resources, and the US demonstrate their ability to destroy them.

A missile flys over the sea near Korea, a Naval vessel catches fire or is rammed, a warship enters territorial waters, military aircraft violate someone's air space, missiles are moved to a border area, a rebel group attacks a work crew.

1042fd  No.126478

What will kick this all off?

Unfortunately there are simply too many flashpoints now.

Technological advances in standoff weapons like long range aircraft and missiles threaten ports and navies

Supercomputers threaten IT infrastructure, coups and civil wars are started at will, financial crisis are recurring at an alarming rate.

It just comes down to motivation.

Why would anyone want to start such a mutually destructive conflict?

This is the only thing which is preventing WW3.

Individuals in power are too comfortable to be pushed to engage in destructive conflict, administrations can only see net loss, and Armies have no motivation to attack one another.

Even if assassinated, they will be replaced by new figures who are equally comfortable.

But the greatest risk is the political equivalent of Kessler Syndrome.

One flashpoint will become an inevitable conflict instead of a latent/controlled conflict. Timing is everything here.

If a mutually destructive conflict becomes inevitable it is liable cause a gravitation of increasingly powerful forces which are initially forced to act preemptively and knowingly or inadvertently create a larger inevitable conflict.

When a large power is effected, all the latent conflicts that it manages will subsequently fall out of control- there will be an exponential increase in the rate and severity of conflict until even world powers cannot stop it even by supporting their rivals.

Truly what I fear the most is not a world war- but the subsequent failure to prevent the foundations of our existence being destroyed afterwards.

If Nuremberg had collapsed and the UN/NATO hadn't been formed, SALT failed, OPEC or one of the other resource cartels had not held together- not only would there have been a fall of a world power- but a collapse of everything under it.

That is the dark age in Europe, the fall of the lost African civilizations, the fall of the Aztecs, and most recently the fall of the Quing dynasty that modern China traces it's roots.

This is only my reading and many may not agree- but this perspective will change the global outlook of many who have not considered the broad consequences of globalization or who more likely have simply become dissonant from known outcomes relating to accelerating conflict.

Sometimes I wonder why I even bother with you guys.

After waiting years for a happening, /k/ doesn't actually bug out, /pol/ claims the DOTR was a LARP, everyone gets accused of being a shill.

This is not business as usual.

The balance has been broken and as Chinese trade power goes unanswered the US is going to be forced to go to war against China directly or China will build and empire and throw out the US.

The US tried to make trade pacts against China but nobody was interested- Chinese infrastructure had pulled many developing nations into the 21st century.

Attacks against China's banking network failed, with even European powers investing in Chinese state banks.

Attempts to inflate the Yuan failed, and Chinese exports still remain competitive.

A bio-attack failed spectacularly, china locked down more than a hundred million people weeks before Chinese new year- while the virus spread into western nations with high immigration and state/regional infighting. 100,000 have died in the US officially, 9/11 was like 3,000.

Attempts to spark unrest in HK and Taiwan have had mixed results with the CCP remining in power without without using manland troops to hammer the 1/4 of the citties population who turned out in violent protest.

In an entirely unrelated event massive violent protests break out across the US and buildings burn and the army is called in.

And when it came to military force the US hasn't done well either.

repeated sanctions and coup attempts against Venezuela failed to topple the government despite the collapse of the economy.

Iran BTFO the US, launching SCUDS directly at one of their bases and shooting down a drone- the US response was an assassination of a man widely held as a hero which resulted in Iraq briefly contemplating ousting US troops- no less than 4 false flag operations in the gulf went ignored by the international community.

Setting the Indians up to fight China has also not gone well, with China and Pakistan both circling Kashmir.

We can't avoid another war at this point, Even if China collapses the US will totally loose control over their hedgmons and regional conflict will erupt everywhere

Thanks anon.

I have been researching China's standoff capabilities and they are now significant.

Personally I forsee a nuclear attack on a naval target as the conflict escalates, maybe a carrier group or an island base.

On the basis there are no civilian casualties and fallout will hit China first, and the US as an aggressor in the region I think they could get away with it.

And that has serious implications for US carrier groups- which are the backbone of US hedgmony.

I also think there is little understanding of maritime/air operations.

Strategic bombers need escorts, and carriers are at the mercy of the weather.

As for India, while I don't want to be dismissive there are still serious structural issue because they failed to break from the demographically divided structure the British literally designed to divide the country. Too many of their forces have regional priorities and if mobilized will provoke fierce hostile reactions from locals even within India. Corruption is still the rule rather than the exception and large parts of India are still threatened by separatism.

Only recently did India air force tip their hand flying so close the the Capitol of Pakistan that the Pakistanis would welcome Chinese ground forces if they had anti-air capabilities.

And people forget that China has made serious territorial threats against east India, arming rebels in several regions and it was only US carrier groups that checked them.

Why does China maintain such huge infantry force?

At one point western forces were I hear fully geared to protect SEA against a Chinese invasion- but in keeping with broader Chinese objectives they simply bought out Laos and Cambodia.

Your dissonance is showing.

The rebuilding of China took place with foreign investment because the potential for economic growth was plain to see. This was not strategic, it was unchecked greed by western corporations who wanted cheap labor and industrial products.

>China has no projection

>China has no food

>civil war

Again, it's a trite claim that doesn't stand up to much scrutiny.

China is one of the only three countries that have strategic bombers, and the US selling fighter-bombers to regional powers though well played was only a bandaid to the underlying economic imbalance.

As soon as a conflict breaks out the staggering manufacturing capacity of China will quickly overwhelm regional hedgmons with loan-forces.

whew, just keep repeating the same claims.

China is a net food exporter by volume- it's only value measures in USD that give the impression otherwise.

>China sells a bag of rice

>they buy expensive steaks

>net food importer

And the Chinese have the largest internal security force in the world by a huge margin, not only do they have the largest infantry force but their militarized police outnumber the army four to one. The Chinese demonstrated this by locking down 100,000,000,000 people a few months ago- something not even concievable in other countries

Indonesia's role in shipping is crucial as they are in by far the best position to block shipping and in real terms are more important than Panama.

They are also controlled largely by the military and the largest Muslim country in the world.

Indonesia has territorial ambitions in the region and is already in hot conflict with several of it's neighbors- so their support for US foreign policy is mixed at best.

A few radio guided missiles in among those islands and you would have no hope getting an oil tanker through- and that means they are inevitably going to be occupied in some regions either by China or the US

Also China's "debt trap" in developing nations which accepted enormous infrastructure loans never materialized- in fact China absolved the debt of most of the projects that couldn't meet repayment and only seized assets in a handful of cases; unsurprisingly ports on the main OBOR path.

China doesn't want money, interest, debts- they want hard power and this scares the global jew.

>about the way Chinese treat their animals and their own people

They are both treated much better compared to America. Chinese may cook animals alive but in America from the moment livestock are born they are kept in cages so small they go their entire life without being able to make a 90 degree turn. And don't even get me started on how the US treats humans, how prevalent is circumcision in China compared to the US?
