Scanning project for rare books.
Post rare books in this thread that you have not been able to find online, or are behind a wall on university digital libraries in this thread.
I hope that other users might be able to find them where they are and perhaps get them scanned.
Loan one from you library, or if you have the cash buy it and then scan it. Whatever. But if you do, you will do something that future historians will thank you for.

World Order(Civitas Dei) - Lionel Curtis
The Author.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lionel_George_Curtis
Lionel George Curtis was one of the central members of the Milner Group of the British Empire and Royal Institute of International Affairs. In his Book Civitas Dei: The Commonwealth of God, published in 1939. He argues that the United States and Great Britain should unite and form a World Government. The plans he outlines match later historical events. Such as the founding of the United Nations, Making Switzerland the headquarters for international usury banking.
It is available on JSTOR, but can only be viewed with a university account. If you happen to have one from your uni, downloading it would be great.

FOCUS: A footnote to the History of the thirties - Eugen Spier
FOCUS group was a secretive lobbyist group in Britain in the 1930's. It was funded by English and American Jewish banksters and it would give huge sums of money to any politician that would agree to go to war with Germany. Uneducated people say often that Hitler was a Rothschild agent. But the real Rothschild agent was Winston Churchill. This book written by insider Eugen Spier goes into detail about how they lobbied churchill to start World War 2.

Looking for
A Fresh Look At Empiricism - Bertrand Russell
(Also known as Collected Papers of Bertrand Russel Volume 10)
I've looked for the past month EVERYWHERE for this book and it continues to elude me.
It's virtually non-existent on the web, and I believe a copy of it in physical form costs upwards of 150 dollars.
I've checked libgen, bookzz, Google, and every single Bertrand Russell book archive I could find and, nothing!
Such a pity for a book by Bertrand Russel of all people.

Board Owner here.
A few days ago I had the autism to download all the pages of American Indians in the Pacific by Norwegian archeologist, historian and ethnographer Thor Heyerdahl.
Heyerdahl have in recent decades been less and less talked about. A big reason for this, is that he demonstrated that there were Caucasian whites in America before Columbus. There are many other finds that point towards this then the ones he outlines in this book and Aku Aku: The Secret of Easter Island. But in this book he thoroughly goes through the evidence proving a White presence in America before Columbus arrived.
I have uploaded it to Archive.org now.

https://archive.org/details/AmericanIndiansPacificHeyerdahl
https://archive.org/details/AmericanIndiansPacificHeyerdahl
https://archive.org/details/AmericanIndiansPacificHeyerdahl
The Norwegian national digital library kind of sucks. They crop up each page into several imagefiles. I could only download each page as a single image when they were somewhat small. Still, everything is perfectly readable. I left out blank pages to save space and reduce filesize. Still, the file is very big, over 111MB. I am sorry for that, but this is also my first time doing this. This book have not been OCR'ed and is not searchable as of now. I just wanted this book to be easily available. Feel free to improve on the PDF to make it more user friendly.
The reason why I wanted to make this book more easily available to people, is because so many other books out there that goes into this topic, are absolutely tinfoil tier.
If you search on google on blonde or red haired mummies found it America, almost every result is Ayy Lmao fallen Nephilim giants dude Jesus 2012.
They show you the pictures of the skulls, mummified remains where you can clearly see their caucasian features and write a bunch of bullshit about fallen angels and giants.
Many amerindian oral traditions do mention fair skinned "giants". But then again Europeans have been historically and still are on average taller than other racial groups.
Many of these twist this to fit their Christian world view and are unable to see the racial reality. But I think it is very likely that this is another form of gatekeeping and shilling. When people will try research this, they will most of the time only find tinfoil material and will think the rest of us are crazy. So I wanted to make a book that is more down to earth available to the internet.
Two other books on the topic of Whites in pre-Columbian America.

You also have many fairly decent books that present a diffusionist thesis that is not entirely beyond the realm of possibility. I think it's clear to most people that out current historical timeline is wrong when it comes to ancient civilizations. Underwater cities that were above sea levels during the Ice Age demonstrates that civilization is far older than the mainstream narrative would have us believe. There are many books that theorizes of an original Civilization that is the source for many of the similar structures and beleifs held by distant ancient cultures. We know it as Atlantis, Hyperborea or Ultima Thule, the Urheimat of our great race.

Important
I can confirm this, my universities library was shut down for a couple of weeks, under the pretense of "updating" the inventory. As you can imagine they removed all books that they perceived were a threat to their progressive marxist agenda.
The library had a treasure trove of books from as early as the 1880's and a large collection of classic literature.
They threw it all away
The excuse they gave was that the books had mold……..the fucking nerve of those bastards.

If you find a rare book in your in local library, check it out and scan it!
It may be destroyed sooner or later by marxists, however once it's on the internet the information is safe
If I had know the lengths these people would go, I would have scanned all the books I could get my hands on.
Just thinking about what they did, twists my heart into a rage.
My library had hardcover Oxford copies of all the major Roman & Greek philosophers, some published in the 1920's in perfect condition. They even had a section in the library relegated for "older books", from the 19th century. All written by no-nonsense men of the Late Enlightenment, covering subjects like race, genetics and political philosophy.
All in the trash now, thrown there by some rat brain liberal communist!

First, you could mass-resize the photographs. If they are gray (no color photographs or such), make sure to save them as grayscale. For this and many other things such as straightening and cropping I recommend ImageMagick, a collection of multi-platform, command-line, libre-software utilities for image processing.
http:// www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php
Using a sh-compatible shell you can do things like
mkdir 25; for i in *.jpg; do convert "$i" -resize 25% "25/$i"; done
For hand made touch-ups I use the gimp.
https://www.gimp.org/
Other option is to use the OCR functionality and release the OCR'd text.
For >>4492, which was a bit of an experience to me, since I usually take high quality full color scans of originals, what I did was I used imagemagic to roughly split the left and right pages (some I had to delete and crop again, since the book position was changed), rectify the text (some came out wrong, once again I redid it in gimp), and then I cropped each page vertically, added margins, and cropped again to a standard vertical size. Removed black specks and sections on the borders. I choose a round size which approximated the golden ratio (1400x2000) I am sure something could be ridged to auto-crop to the body of text, but w/e. Then I converted it from grayscale to b&w, for size, as I saved them. Make sure you only reduce the quality noticeably after straightening (rotating) and such.
After that I imported the pictures onto Adobe Acrobat Pro, and added the picture of the cover, which I extracted from an eBay listing. Adobe Acrobat seems to ignore the DPI settings of the picture, and applies a different setting to JPG and PNG, so I had to double the size of the picture, apply some cropping and add some bands of the same color as the border and save it as PNG to make it the same size as the pages.
Adobe Acrobat Pro has a few different options when you save a PDF to resize the pictures and such. In my experience it is a bit sub-optimal, so I tend to pre-resize them using imagemagick.
For color photographs, you may want to change the "quality" % to something which is perceptually lossless or nearly so (75-80 % seems to be the sweet spot in gimp), and make the rest of settings like pic related.

Here is a "page" image as extracted from the original pdf, converted to png. Notice it was stored rotated at a 90º angle (as it was scanned) the pages are both rotated at different angles (so they must be split prior to being straightened) and that there is a black bar at the bottom. Also the speckles under the chapter title. Removing those results in a reduced filesize (large pure white blocks are "cheap" to compress, not so if there are random black dots sprinkled on them). Same thing could have been done with the picture, if the black dots where removed. This also means that by straightening the text more horizontal white stripes are created between the lines and such.

>And talking of children's books, don't even try and find Aesop's Fables in the public library…
(((they))) have some real fucking proble with fables. we should start writing alt-right fables.
> Martin Luther thought so highly of apologues as counselors of virtue that he edited and revised Aesop and wrote a characteristic preface to the volume.
>La Motte, writing at a time when this species of literature was universally admired, attributes its popularity to the fact that it manages and flatters amour-propre by inculcating virtue in an amusing manner without seeming to dictate or insist. This was the ordinary 18th-century view of the matter, but Rousseau contested the educational value of instruction given in this indirect form.
>Montesquieu wrote a propos his Persian Letters "There are certain truths of which it is not enough to persuade, but which must be made to be felt. Such are the moral verities. Perhaps a bit of history will be more touching than subtle philosophy."

And/or: go to a decent deposit library that has the book, get details of the publishers and contact them to ask that they reissue it as a print on demand. If they whine about costs, suggest a photographic reproduction without resetting the type if the original plates are gone.

Is there any way to steal books successfully? Not from public libraries of course, but from University libraries where they deliberately strip politically incorrect books of their covers and remain unchecked out for decades at a time. I've been researching the topic a bit and what I've found is that most, if not all, books are stuck with an RFID chip/sticker. This sticker, if not demagnetized, will sound the alarm when passing through the gates at the entrance of the library. The best solution I've heard is to wrap the inside of a backpack with multiple layers of tinfoil before heading to the library where you can discretely place books inside and leave without sounding the alarm. Apparently, the tinfoil helps to weaken the signal of the RFID chip. Anyone know anything about this?

Shoplifters solved that problem decades ago. You just need sufficient insulation to block the radio signal to/from the chip. A tinfoil lined bag works well for this. If you know where the chip is, taking it off might be easier, the but the biggest problem will be doing that away from the watchful eyes of whatever marxist goon they've got running the cameras.
If you want to save a bunch of them, your best bet is to either metrosexual yourself up or bring a girl, and every day for a week or so scour the place shelf by shelf. Drop a half a dozen books into the bag each time and just check out a book on poetry or something. By the time they catch on to what happened you should have gotten a fair few of them out.

A sourcing tool designed to help non-Mandarin speakers navigate the Hua Qiang electronics market. Going to Shenzhen, China is a massive enabler for Makers, hackers, and entrepreneurs alike. The Essential Guide to Electronics in Shenzhen is the book I wish I had when I first stepped foot into China a decade ago. The Hua Qiang electronics market has been an enabling resource for me. However, overcoming the language barrier is one of the keys to unlocking the market's full potential, and this book's point-to-translate format enables a fluidity of interaction with market vendors that I've struggled to achieve with translation apps and eBooks. The guide has pages dedicated to helping you sort through many types and sizes, and once you've finally found a sample that's close to what you want, it has even more pages dedicated to specifying the finer details of the parts you need. The guide also includes notes on how to cross the border and get around, as well as tactically useful information on topics such as "is Naomi Wu a Liar and a Fake?". The final section in the book contains maps. The first few pages call out spots that I've found useful or interesting, but my favorite part is the pages of blank maps interleaved with business card and receipt holders.
