Why you should read Arthur Schopenhauer?

Because it was one of the HitIer's most favourite books. He inspired in Schopenhauer.

I’m glad this thread was created. I’ve been wanting to get into Schopenhauer, but I only read some of his essays. I have yet to read his central text that you just posted.

I have some questions. I might ask more later:

>the PDF you posted says “Vol 1 of 3.” Are there more volumes that you have to post?

>do you agree with his essay “On Women?”

Also, do I need to read any other book before reading WWR? Some people say that I need to read his essay on the Principle of Sufficient Reason and some Kant as well.
