I see a lot of people sharing links from mega, google drive, and all sorts of other bizarre platforms and want to remind people to upload their files to library genesis since the database is easily searchable and nothing gets taken down.
There is a button at the top of the screen that says "upload" and then "libgen uploader". In the ID field type: genesis and in the password field type: upload. That's all it takes.
Pic related is the Yuri Bezmenov pamphlets that I uploaded.

how do they catch you? Library genesis is a secretive, illegal operation. Nobody really knows who the operators are so asking them who is uploading books is impossible. Ebooks that are stripped of DRM have no identifier linking them to the account through which the book was bought. So, I don't think it matters. Anyway, I'm not in a country where stuff like this is pursued, so it doesn't really matter.
Something else to think about: taking DB dumps is probably a good idea, since nobody really knows how long the library genesis project is going to stay operational. I doubt the operators are making much from the popups that you get when you click links (basically they are getting paid to serve malware and phishing sites) and I doubt they are covering the expenses of running the operation. Thus, I believe that it is possible that the site will close down at some point for financial reasons. So, backups are a good idea. It might not happen, but it's something that I think about sometimes.

Ebook.farm is a paid ebook pirate site. The guy sells the ebooks for 10 cents on the dollar. You pay by using USD amazon gift cards that are converted 1:1 for credit on the site. I have never used it but from what I read online it appears to be a popular site. That can be a good resource to buy books that you want to share publicly on sites like library genesis.
