i always envy the homeless. if all i had was the content of a backpack, i could be on the move constantly. well i am kind of doing this with an old truck during the warm part of the year.
lemme tell you bitches it is a trip to aimlessly drive a day in a direction and have a bed in the back of the truck and then 1-2 hours before it gets dark the necessity for a nice quiet parking space emerges where i hopefully sleep. i do have a bed but it still feels unusual, eerie, nervewrecking and slightly exciting. this situation of having to find a place can be kind of a source of pressure if i remember it too late and then have to rush too much to find a space. a lack of preoccupation and optimistic expectation are a helpful attitude.
if i had nothing to store, i wouldn't need an appartment and i could live like that constantly.
it is nice to come back from a trip that is basically constant chaos, problems and unforseen obstacles into my nice reliable, functioning appartment where i can shower, wash clothes, prepare food and access my stored food, heat and electricity and a guaranteed sleeping spot.
