Recently tft got plagiarized, The monstergirl thread on jp keeps driving away people, the only ones staying there are old artfags and some writers that like being bullied. The mge wiki has been putting twinks on their fanart entries. /d thread has been raided to hell and back by colonizers. interboard 8chan drama with useless spergs.
You have to look at it from another perspective.
There is activity but you are too used to the levels found found on /pol/ or /v/. And the whole imageboard existance has been going on a downward spiral, its only when you have a functional alternative that you see any activity at all nowadays on 8chan other than on some big three boards like /v/ /pol/ or /tv/ which have been consistently raided. Its been particularly tough on non legacy boards.

I'd prefer a smaller base of users, so long as we're actually getting content from it. I guess the occasional writefaggotry and artwork created from our slow drawthread counts as our content. We used to get more, but when a board shrinks you tend to lose people willing to create content. We lose the one or two guys that draw art in the drawthread, and there goes our original content. I fail to see why the endeavors of another monster girl hub matter when they're just doing the same thing we do, reposting art from random artists on tumblr and pixiv. Maybe if /monster/ stopped circlejerking, and started doing activities again, we could see more content being created than what we have now? I doubt that will happen though, because the hype is dead. We'll probably never have something like Panty Raiders again in the board's current state. As to how we revive said hype, I'm open to suggestions.

They have more fun drawing with other artists, and thats atleast one of the most constructive things that came from this board.

But that's mostly my empty speculation on the matter after all, the people we're dealing with here are retarded and might have overlooked the idea of using pixels which I highly doubt, or are attempting to track filenames meaning they'd get bogged down extremely quickly and flooded with useless data.
Didn't I say such a shit method wouldn't backfire earlier? Editing images is extremely easy and if you know what you're dealing with, you can do it with minimal effort. Your phone is already changing the name so if that's all they are looking for I'd start laughing.
It will take a little time however for this to be finished and proper counter measures made available, but at least you're not on cuckchan where any attempt to make a thread or even raise this in other threads gets the user banned or the thread deleted.
Either way there is a lot of speculation on the subject as to goals, motivations and general methodology regarding this. So it's something to keep and eye on and be aware of for now.
