The liberty-promoting zone at the center of the pixel canvas was completely tarnished by COMMIES. Commies organize using discord, and can't keep to themselves. Are you going to let them shit on us?

Oh wow, how very revolutionary. It shows just what BS commies get up to really, doesn't it?

This. Honestly if I was a younger man and had more time for shitposting I would be down for the gayest ops but I barely find enough time to spend on this site as is. Besides don't they have bots for that site now?

This honestly. I have limited time for shitposting, let alone operations.

Yeah, you would need a script to make any kind of substantive changes. I did some small details last evening for fun. It looks like someone is erasing the commie shit.

Do you leave your oven on while grocery shopping as well?

>ruin your computer
As long as you clean the dust there's no noticeable problem. I keep my desktop powered on and running BOINC 24/7 and I've yet to see an issue.

That's like saying "as long as you do routine oil changes, nothing will go wrong from driving your car 8 hours a day seven days a week." You know a computer is made up of individual components that have different tolerances, right? I've had laptops last for years or even decades while other people's "high spec" PCs die within months or a year or two tops because of that exact mentality.

Cars are made up of moving parts with a very clear correlation between increased use and mechanical wear. CPUs do to some extent get more worn from constant use, but even then you can expect them to last for years, and generally you'll need to replace from obsolence well before you need to replace from a failure. What does wear CPUs out prematurely is not volume of use but running over capacity–either at excessively high temperatures or voltage for extended periods of time. What you most likely saw is people doing the latter, overvolting their chips excessively to squeeze a little more performance out of them, and/or not cooling them properly. My machine is going on six years without upgrade or failure, and that's even with a mild overclock.

Even if something doesn't move, it still breaks down over time from overuse. Your computer is a rare exception to the rule, but overuse of any electronic circuit degrades it over time. By default a computer shut down properly and only run when needed will last far longer than a computer left on 24/7, because amperage still generates things like HEAT which puts STRAIN on a system even when not being overclocked.

To be far, I remember when we had a thread organizing people to fuck with the commie flag, eve I participated in that, a bt before I realized how childish and pointless it is. So I can't really be mad.
