To be fair, the libertarians on this board usually do a very shitty job of selling their ideas. They just take for granted that its obvious their theories are correct and invest zero effort in defending them. Even when a debate happens it's usually full of strawmen by people who haven't even read the ideas they're criticizing.
Now, I won't accuse /liberty/ of being any worse in this regard than most online communities, but come on, in the past if you had visited leftypol or leftpol there was usually 1 or 2 posters who would invest time in debating someone in good faith.

unfortunately most people don't like seeing opinions they disagree with. its why hugboxes and echochambers are so prevalent. no one has to put up with hotpockets, but they do, since they don't care people are being censored as long as they disagree with them.
