This isn't to say that statism of any kind is good. It's just that when you examine the liberty movement closely, especially all the time and involvement you've invested, what have we voluntaryists accomplished? Sure you may have deconverted a few statists, but did we ever accomplish anything major? States are still destroying lives, and barely anyone's listening. All we get is constant frustration, constant depression, and constant suffering.

Mass movements only foster frustration from their supporters, and the liberty movement is no different. We spend so much time debating, deconverting, sharing memes, videos, articles, and so on, but none of it accomplishes anything significant. We're still frustrated and depressed with the world, but no matter what we say or do, it does absolutely nothing to liberate people. Is this because, despite our fruitless efforts, we seek a sense of comfort and company with the movement in the face of a cruel statist world?

Perhaps this is why apolitical people, especially artists, are the happiest people you'll ever meet. They feel confident and peaceful in they're lives, they take pride and a sense of accomplishment in having created something, whether it be art, music, a garden, or so on. They don't concern themselves with mass movements and politics, they're not the kind of people to bombard themselves with yellow journalism about how the world sucks and huff n' puff bullshit that amounts to nothing in the end like any of the "Happenings" if you've been to /pol/.

I'm not claiming we should all forget about libertarianism, the true meaning of money, or the delusion of government. First, we should just ignore all the huff n' puff yellow journalism bullshit that serves no purpose but to frustrate or depress us, even from voluntaryist news sources. The only thing you get from reading an article or watching a video about how this or that tyrant or dark occultist got into power, or how these two countries might nuke each other is frusturation, anger and depression.

Second, we should channel are efforts into organizations with clear goals rather than mass movements with vague unachievable goals and no viable means to accomplish them. Agorism, as popular as it may be, is one of these movements, and relies on the notion of the black market outcompeting the state, but disregards the incentives of the people as well as a clear goal. Liberland and the Seasteading Institute have already started to accomplish their first goals.

This has got to be some of the most retarded attempts at subversion i have seen in a while.

>just bury your head in the sand if the news makes you sad.

>Join organizations in an attempt to make other people do things we want them to do, despite that being one of the key things we are universally against.

I dont care if it breaks the NAP, fucking kys yourself you lazy depressive faggot.

Change starts with the individual and his/her circle of friends.

Collectivism and socialist revolutions is about radically transforming society by tomorrow. It is violent and brutal.

If you are a libertarian, conservative or capitalist - that is one less retarded American citizen who bought into the nazi/commie identity politics. Talk to your family and contacts, try to bring the light to them. Link informative YouTube videos and documentaries. Tell them why minimum wage does not work. Tell them why abortion is wrong. Tell them why a big government is a bad idea.

The facts are on our side so there is nothing to lose. It is up to you whether you want to be politically active or not. We need more Ben Shapiros, Thomas Sowells and Milton Friedmans in the world.

Since the right has not done a real good job at it, the vacuum is getting filled by /pol/tards and SJW regressives. Millenials are attracted to these things because they do not understand politics, economy and history. It is our duty to teach them.

If the U.S. really does become totally lost, at least it will turn into a shithole whether it goes the extreme left or extreme right. Consider starting a new life in Russia, where they actually have ethics, values, morality, and core principles. How things have changed.

I never new Liberland and Seasteading were violations of the NAP. I wonder where all the outrage is, oh wait.

Keep telling yourself you're doing anything towards liberating the world when all you're doing is jack shit.

Thank you for proving my point. It doesn't matter that facts are on your side. Facts don't matter to most people. If winning the war of ideas meant providing facts, the world would be libertarian overnight, but it's not. People join movements for emotional, not intellectual reasons. It starts with frustration with the status quo, a lack of community support and meaningless work. This leaves people yearning for any promise for change, which is provided to them by left and right mass movements. However, neither side can exist without the other. When one side takes power, the other becomes frustrated and replaces the last movement, lather, rinse and repeat.

Libertarianism is just like any other mass movement. Even though we're right, we're divided, we bicker amongst ourselves and some of us defect. Whatever message we have do you know what happens - the message gets corrupted by the defectors. There are college pamphlets grouping ancaps with neonazis, and the Libertarian Party isn't libertarian. Even you think Ben Shapiro is worth listening to when he's just another useful tool and not even libertarian.

Politics is a scam. A war of everybody against everybody for who gets to step on and dominate the other.

An artist still needs food and a home. An artist is not separated from politics. Being separated from politics is liberty.

Everyone who creates things is an artist. We, the creators, want liberty because we don't want to be leeched.

I strongly recommend listening to the speech by Jeff Deist, president of Mises Institute, on the state of Libertarianism.

The speech starts at 02:05 (sorry, could only found it on Tom Woods).

A similar speech, but in written form, could be found at https://mises.org/blog/new-libertarian
