I'm sorry for hijacking this thread and being off-topic, but I bought a Glock 17 today, my second handgun and I think I got tricked. I bought a G17 Gen 4 FS 9mm and the store owner gave me an original glock mag pouch for free as a gift, but unfortunately the mag pouch seems to be too loose for the mag. They don't fit, even though the glock website says otherwise, that they should fit and people told me I'm supposed to wear it on a belt so the pouch will get squezzed and the mag will fit, which somehow works, but the magazine still falls off when turned upside down. Pls watch video and don't tell me the store owner gave me a free mag pouch that is for another calibre or different type of mags.

That's what I suspected, that he gave me one for .45 instead. Any idea what I can do with it, since I don't own a .45 glock other than throwing it away.Can't return it since it was a free gift. He had it probably rotting in some backroom anyway and wanted to get rid of it, but never look a gift horse in the mouth.

As I said already, never look a gift horse in the mouth. But I still wish that he had given something useful and not just a mag holder that was laying somewhere in dust, just to get rid of it. I'll probably throw away since the quality of it is abysmal anyway, or I'll keep it for the range, even tough it's not very useful.

I could do, but here where I live most people have 9mm, anything else is considered exotic, so it'll take sometime to find someone and it's a very cheap mag holder, which probably cost $7.

With the exception of UK you can own a handgun legally pretty much anywhere in the EU if you're not a convicted felon.

It involves bureaucracy and jumping through hoops but it's perfectly possible with nothing more than a bit of paperwork and spending money & time to ranges/clubs (which you should be doing anyway… what's the point of having if you don't train?)

Carrying is widely considered illegal and requires really special authorization (but it's also possible), but ownership isn't.
