<La ilaha ill Allah, Muhammadur Rasullu llah
This means
<I testify that there is no other god but Allah, and Muhammad is God's messenger (prophet).

Start by going to the mosque and talking to the brothers, you will be given a Qur'an (read it!) and will be guided in the right ways to pray, etc. As soon as you are ready, declare shahadah!
