Are Bahais "people of the book"? Since they consider the bible and quran to be inspired? Can a muslim man marry a bahai girl?
And how true is their theology and morality? and what are their chances for going to heaven according to Islam?
I had a lot of bahai friends and a few Muslim/Persian friends who all got along well, and attended each others weddings and followed similar lifestyles…just curious, I never asked them too many questions

They're zionists, they would like to replace Islam, and they basically aspire to be a one-world religion (as a complement to a one-world government). They're highly suspicious and cult-like, I would steer clear.

>Are Bahais "people of the book"?
Nope, but there's no reason to be impolite to them.

disbeliever in what? Bahais are monotheists and believe Jesus and Muhammad and the bible and quran and even Buddha(?), they probably believe too much…tbh

>are u bahai
No but I deconverted a few and turned them into generic deists and anti-zionists/anti-israel. Not on purpose just through accidental influence I think.

>Are Bahais "people of the book"?
Definitely not, they are misguided people that follow a sect created by murtadeen.
Arguably Trinitarians are not people of the book since they have no basis for their belief in their book.
The only place where polytheists were commanded to be fought to the point of annihilation with no other option was in the Arab peninsula. Most religious groups of people that pay taxes to the Muslim state have been treated as "People of the Book" in Islamic history.

There's a Bahai temple in my city that I have been interested in going to for some time. The faith alone seems ok imo, I think different people even if you don't follow their faith can give enlightening views. I know that they are based in Israel but I don't really care that much, I think beliefs and teachings are more important than followers or "leaders" of a faith or sect.
I was thinking of going just to see what it was like, I've read some stuff about them.
Have any of you been to a Bahai temple?

I haven't been to their temples but I lived with quite a few, and attended their prayer sessions (just as an observer) they liked to read Rumi and sufi stuff. They had arabic writing on their walls. No drawings of prophets allowed. They also had "membership cards"…kind of weird.

I've never met any, or at least not that I know of. I tried to get into the Sufi stuff a couple of times but there is a lot of info and coming from a background that knows nothing about anything but Christianity made it a bit daunting.
>They also had "membership cards"
That is strange, an another anon said they were "cult-like" and that fits the bill.

They seem similar to the Ahmidiyya to me tbh, except that they follow shi'a ahadith instead of sunni. By similar I mean cucked (submissive) religions where someone said he was the mahdi in the 19th/20th century then got support from western secular and religious leaders he contacted because they realized they could use them to weaken their respective nations of origin, as well as (currently) other muslims around the world.
As to whether you can marry a baha'i, I don't see why not. If you can marry a Christian girl you should be able to marry a Bahai one too.

Most scholars say it’s inadvisable to marry a non-muslim woman outside a muslim country. Because if the marriage breaks up the court will likely give the children to the kaffira. That wouldnt happen in a muslim country. And you better be knowledgeable about deen to raise a muslim child with no help - or enroll the child in a muslim school.
