Approaching it as a fun game is probably the best way.
Just say "I've sort of been interested in hypnosis, recently. Do you mind if I try it out on you? Could be kinda fun."
Then lay out a couple things like… "So, hypnosis is really just a matter of helping someone imagine or experience something. It's like… if you close your eyes and I asked you to imagine a square, that would be pretty easy for you. It's like that. You just go step by step."
This is a good start to an induction anyway, while alleviating starting fears. You can use different senses too, if you like. Then from their, if she consents, you can proceed into a more formal and fuller hypnosis. Either way, a harmless first time with something for her to think about for later opens the door for later.
