Dunno if making a thread specifically to shill my thread is ok, but here goes nothing.

Ich Will Project is a relatively basic visual novel, that puts you in a situations of trust and internalized psychological problems in order to ultimately solve the mystery of the disappearance of your friend, while at the same time making a difference in the life of the people involved, hopefully for good.

Your childhood friend Eileen entrusted you a secret: How to enter people's psyche. The next moment she disappeared in front of your eyes. Now no-one around you is able to remember she ever existed… or do they? With very little knowledge about what's happening, and in the hope of rescuing her you try to follow her instructions and gather pieces inside the mind of key people close to her. Will you be able to bring back Eileen? Or you will end just like her?

>3 Main routes with 3 unlockable routes.

>Each route is made by 8 parts, not counting the intro with 1 part for each girl.

>Each route will have choices and 3 different endings, not counting the "general" bad ending.

>Each part will have at least 1 CG with multiple variants

The main idea behind the game is variations and subconscious. Each psyche you will travel to will reveal you a vastly different reality, from a military castle, to a futuristic city and a deserted island.

Lastly, I'm open to criticism, suggestions and the such. To give you an idea of the elements of the game, the game mainly draws inspiration from Hoshizora no Memoria, Yume Miru Kusuri and Imouto Paradise, for the story, themes and the structure of choices in that order, among other things. It will not be completely smut, it will be mostly story heavy, but it will have a lot of sexual content.

Here's a link to the latest 0.2 version. Don't let the low version number fool you, the game is 500mb currently with a total of 12 routes, with 24 scenes total among other things, and will only get bigger with future plans:

Well anon, I'm learning how to draw AND how to use blender. This project is mostly as an "See, I can do it", to make enough money to actually get an artist and start working on my magnum opus, OR have enough time to learn how to properly make assets myself.

It was either that, Honey Select/Playhome, or Dazshit Gobbos. I went for the best option I had at the time.

The game is supposed to be relatively simple and short so I can actually finish it. Originally, it was meant to be even shorter, but I decided to actually put effort on it.

In that sense, I don't plan on abandon it, so not an scam at all, as for "holding it back" for money, I have an schedule that I will try to accomplish each month until the game is done, which should be 3 or 4 months, maybe a bit more: 6 scenes per update. No more, no less, unless I feel like adding more. I've gone 2 months that way with 0$, so yeah, hopefully iy keeps that way. Then, I will be moving to my next game.

Speaking of which, I do have concept already done for that game already.

To be honest, it feels a little rushed. Short scene introducing Eileen then a few flashes when in the minds of others. I know this is a short project and all but I think if it had a bit more thought put in, it could work better.

What about the player is a psychologist and the various girls are his patents, the technique he uses is that he goes into people's subconsciousness and have them wrestle with inner demons and trying to make them a better person while also corrupting them. Add in Eileen who the player knew, died/disappeared and who shows up in a few places and you have a decent plot where the themes reflect their characters. Here you got him as a uni student, influencing his teachers for some reason that must be sex and not much else other than "Maybe find mystery girl cause she's important somehow?"

I'm not expecting Last Sovereign levels of world building but even Sisterly Lust had a it's share of slow moments to build up it's characters.

How deep into the game are you? The first chapters are rushed because you barely know these people, you are supposed to meet them overtime. You are introduced so shortly to Eileen because she is supposed to be important later, so I effectively wanted her to keep her a mystery for the first half of the game. Admittedly the game may feel unsatisfying because it's not finished, but I assume you didn't finish it or, in the worst case scenario, you did and didn't like it. In either case, the current chapters are longer because there's more lore into them.

Let me try to illustrate hot the routes will work: You have to spend 4 days with each character in order to start their route. And in the last 4th day is usually very lore heavy to introduce you there as well, since things change in order to change focus so drastically. For example, in Charlotte's route She is presented to you as a queen surrounded by her goons. Her mind is her being leader of a military organization. The connection shouldn't be hard to make, and as slight as it may be, her friends are involved in each scenario with charlotte in a way or the other. You receive their numbers, which is an small detail, and also 2 pieces of information from each of them separately. This is supposed to scale, and I don't want to give that much spoilers, but making the connection between the former and the involvement of her friends, you may guess where this will go to. It may be a little cliche, though.

The game does have to do with psychology, and the player does have psychology knowledge. That will be relevant later on. Basically, the first part have you knowing them and gives you a reason why you should care about these characters, the later part, the proper "route" itself for each character will be more heavy in these themes, because now you have a better idea of what's going on. I did this exactly because I didn't want to rush things, and even though sex is rushed, it is not main objective of the MC and it's in fact a folly to it's investigation.

However, anon, I will take this in consideration. I can retroactively try to add more quiet moments and more world building, but that also presents a different problem: I don't want to over exposure things, and the things that are said or hinted I want to happen in due time.

There are a few times I've encountered a few "Image missing" bugs and an exception occurred but. So far …. you know it's actually pretty good. I've seen a lot worse and there are definitely spelling errors and awkward sentences (Run your script through a word processor first mate, preferably google docks with the grammerly extension) but it does seem like you are trying to play with interesting themes here. I'd say keep up the good work. definitely would like to see more of the presented characters. they all seem rather decently written, and if this is a .2 … well I keep my expectations low but I'm sure there are good things for this games future

The game is "technically" halfway done. As previously mentioned each character is divided in 2 parts: 4 introductory chapters and 4 "In-route" chapters and, on top of that, each will have 3 different endings based on choices when you hit their own routes.

Also, glorious 1080p need no lines.

I wish I never started noticing this shit, now 80% of anime artstyles bother the hell out of me. Dialogue is awkward in parts, nothing some more editing or proofreading won't fix. I also encountered an error with Charlotte, I think the third or fourth time I clicked on her. You should probably Ctrl+F and replace every character's name and choose between lower or uppercase Baby.

Trust me anon, I tried as much as possible to have the eyes not clipping through the hair despite Koikatsu having an option specifically for that, same with the eyebrows, but it doesn't work.

As for the error, already fixed it, I was missing a t in the "righ".

The robot deliberately speaks on uppercase because of the font, and I thought it was funny because they are robots, but nonetheless, if it's an eyesore I will save different fonts for the names only and not the actual text.

However, unlike previous times, I will release the bugfixes along the release at the end of the month because of all the changes I'm making to the game right now **changing everything to 1080p. uploading this took me longer that I expected, and more than I would have wanted. Why? Well, the game is currently 1gb, you can check by yourselves, but it all goes into beautiful HD resolution. This puts me in a bit of a crossroads. Dunno how you guys feel with the game being this massive in size. Well, not massive, but I hope it's worth the download, nonetheless. Give me any comments, I may resort to extra compression if needed.

I made an official android port. I tested it with emulators, but since my actual phone wouldn't be able to handle it, I didn't try it on hardware. I also leave here a very useful text ren'py left me when doing the build. I don't really like androids, but I will try to fix and update this build when needed.

honestly OP… The story so far just seems to be all over the place from the get go. There needs to be a crescendo of story development, and there needs to be a more consistent/ cohesive plot device. So far, the story seems like I jumped right in the middle of a major story with no precursor or potential guidance for the ending… just aimlessly finishing a game. I like the potential of the plot device, but I'd flesh that out, and refine it, rather than fixing it down the road of development (how the usual shitty cash grab games come to be.). Hope the dev goes smooth for the game, just maybe don't rush things.

Thanks anon! I'm still working on it still, around a quarter done with Charlotte second half.

I'm also thinking in a side project, but I mostly need art. I made a concept art with Koikatsu about an small apartment and the female lead of it, since it's planned to be a rather short but more interactive game. I DON'T want to do it on Koikatsu, so I'm looking for some artists to help me with it.

In either case, wait eagerly for the game next release.
