I realize I'm sort of asking for a tall order here. I don't care too much about the porn given that most eroge are vanilla and don't include my degenerate fetishes anyways.
I know that the Rance series and Kamidori Alchemy Meister exist and people love to recommend them. I've also heard good things about Evenicle, minus the few possible NTR scenes in it or something, but I don't know much about it. This Koihime Mosou game looks kind of interesting, as does Eiyu Senki- The World Conquest. I've also heard about a lot of excitement building up for Venus Blood Frontier kickstarter thing or whatever so I suppose I should research more into that. Ideally without chibi shit like I saw in the Venus Blood thing, but I can tolerate it if necessary if the game is that fun, though I'd prefer if it avoided the mobage kind of aesthetic and had more of an RPG-maker or traditional JRPG look to its sprites if it has to be something like that. I also do consider the story to be pretty important, it would be nice to play something with memorable characters, dialogue, plot and world.
What else is available, what can anons tell me about the games I've listed since I know little about them besides Rance being some kind of (sexual) conquest RPG, and what would anons recommend?
I'm mainly looking for JRPGs and SRPGs/TRPGs, but I'd be fine with other genres as well I suppose. Other settings besides fantasy would be good as well, though admittedly its hard for me to imagine something like a post-apocalyptic wasteland hentai RPG or a cyberpunk one, but I'd be excited to see something like that, assuming it was any good.

This could honestly go into other threads, but I found that Overwhored and Eiyuu Senki were both enjoyable from a plot point of view (but Eiyuu Senki punishes you extensively for taking up challenges/forces you to grind a ton end-game if you are a better player than you're supposed to be- that is, most of the game can be beat with skill/wit even if you lack the levels/funds while end-game forces you to grind for raw stats by making skill/wit useless against the final bosses). DLabby had a good plot but obviously it was discontinued years ago due to burnout on the maker's part. Utawarerumono was enjoyable but it's more linear than what I'd like from an eroge/didn't offer much in the way of choices outside of battle.
I'm sure there's more, but I've lost track of a lot of them over the years. I really liked Sekien no Inganock & Shikkoku no Sharnoth, but most anons here hated both games for some reason/consider them trash.

1. Good Dev and Release schedule. About 10 releases a month not hidden behind patreon paywall, (save for one week of bug testing) And a dev that ACTUALLY listens to feedback. And I do mean that, SL responds to literally every comment with a response and regularly makes changes to both balance and story based on feedback. Not in a pushover way that she listens to anyone screaming at her, but more re-balancing combat that comes to difficult or changing her dialogue to fit better.
3. Actual good FF style RPG combat. This might not be noticeable from anyone who doesn't play a lot of shit-tier porn RPG games but goddamn does that ruin a lot of good games. IE unoriginal party abilities, bland samey monsters, linear dungeons, forced grinding, and bosses that are bosses because they just have fucktons more health. TLS has none of that and it gets my dick harder then anything.
4. Actual story and world building. Perhaps this should have been number 1 because goddamn this is always been the high points of SL games.
And last 5. Actual choices that shape your story. None of that Telltale shit either where the choice matters for six seconds or changes minor dialogue. I'm talking about very real very stressful choices that can shape the world. And you will NEVER get everything you want. Even in the best of games someone isn't going to be happy.
Anywho I fangasmed all over the thread so I'll keep this end brief. Play TLS, it's not for everyone but I recommend playing up until say the end of chapter 1 before giving a hard no. Tips for playing if you do, 1 KILL EVERY ENEMY, I said there was no grinding and I meant it. There is a finite number of enemies and if you don't kill them you don't get the xp and you will be permanently under leveled. Missing a few early on is no biggie but dodging a whole dungeon because you are in a hurry is bad. And Tip number 2…. listen know right now you are going to fuck up your first playthrough. You are going to fail at the summit, you are going to fail to maintain your border with Aram, you are going to fail at the Religious summit. It's ok we all did. The Rance and other Alicesoft games are pretty solid, and usually has something that appeals to everything, but Alicesoft tends to produce Dark Fantasy games. The whole Evenicle cuck argument serves no purpose though, I expected this kinda of thing the moment I booted up the game and the 3rd girl I met ends up getting gangraped with Aster simply going like "oh, okay.". Either way it's not exactly cucking because Aster as a character wouldn't have married her normally anyway, if everything went normal then she would've never even been a marriage candidate, and it's not like that would be the first time that Alicesoft would tease a character that would never get fucked by the main character. But serious talk here, it's okay to get angry about some generic big breasted onee-san wanted brutal sex after being raped brutally, but the part where a chick eats her own father while raping him is just fine.(Also slight spoiler but Aster as a character is someone that embodies justice, and as such would never do anything against the law, but that doesn't really matter.)
Alicesoft games tend to have decent writing, gameplay, art, and music which overall makes the average Alicesoft game worth playing over other options. It's hard enough to find good VNs with gameplay in them that are popular enough to ever get a chance of getting translated, so I can understand why people defend Alicesoft titles over stuff like Kamidori.

From the end of Chapter 2 where you FINALLY get Gurigura (you don't fuck her until the start of chapter 3), you have:

Only the second scene with Princess can really be described as a lover's sex scene. Really you don't even start getting access to content that can even be considered along the lines of the relationship-building that you're talking about until Chapter 3 at which point you've got Gurigura (the first wife you can actually describe as really having love with beyond wanting to fuck her, and then it's more to do with her naivety) and even then it's throwing elf Kalar gangbang scenes at you and cuckqueen vibes as your wives try to jack you off senseless because they're jealous of elves Kalars being able to freely fuck anything with a pulse. Yeah sure, chapter 3 has been able to fit into a vanilla game so far, but it fits into the category of really shitty vanilla games (with the exception of GuriGura).

I haven't been in this thread for quite some time, but I voiced my displeasure about that a ways back. My issue isn't even the NTR bullshit. It was how that felt like they forced a failstate on the player. There was nothing you could do. You are going to sit through that rape scene and you're gonna like it! Like they were just so proud of that scene they couldn't fathom the idea of the player wanting to prevent sex from happening.
I'm a fairly simple man. I like playing RPGs to play the part of the hero or villain respectively. I don't like when games force me to fail at being the hero 'just because'. Then they had the gall to try and have a lovey dovey scene immediately after said rape. I never actually got through that scene. The tonal whiplash is absolutely awful and a clear sign of poor storytelling.

There's also another instance in the Humpty chapter (twice) where they act like they're going to make you watch a character get raped (and at another point they do something similar with the one character who, while haughty, you don't have much reason to hate her but the game forces you to think she's the scum of the earth because the Devs decided they needed a character to monster rape). You can do that once or twice in an H-game where the player has basically no way to save the girl from getting raped, especially in relation to the overall plot, but you never do that in the tutorial levels like they did, and you definitely never do that again and again, chapter after chapter. The only way that kind of behaviour can ever be justified (and even this is pushing it) is if at the end of the game you offer the player a chance to go back in time with all of his current stats with the implication/NG+ ability to actually save those girls.
