I've tried Fish for a little while, what it essentially does is make commands easier to figure out if you're a complete newbie. This video is a decent showcase of it: https://youtu.be/C2a7jJTh3kU
I don't see how it would replace Bash any time soon, though.

It's not posix compliant, and if you're going to write a script, you may as well write it in bash, since bash is on all the linux distros by default. The BSDs are the only unix-like systems I know of that don't come with bash pre installed.
