I had never even heard of /n/ (or 8chan, for that matter) until the day Ron approached me in 4chan and offered me a job.
To be honest with you, I thought he was joking, and I really didn't take him seriously at all. He had to approach me 3 times before I actually started to realize he might not have been joking after all.
I told him that I basically needed him to prove he wasn't joking by depositing some money on my PayPal, which he did that same day, and I was ready to start working for him.
At first, I didn't realize I was actually working for Jim, and Ron was simply acting as a middleman.
I didn't even realize who Jim was, or who Ron was for that matter…. All that I knew is they were willing to pay me to be disruptive, and that's exactly what I was going to do.
I wasn't being paid to shitpost in 8CHAN….
They specifically wanted me to shitpost in /N/….
After a while, as I received more and more PayPal deposits, I was given more details about what they wanted me to do, and it turns out they specifically wanted me to target KILLCEN.
I ended up actually liking killcen, and I actually ended up QUITTING working for Jim and Ron 3 or 4 times….
I also ended up becoming addicted to /n/, with absolutely no desire to go to any other boards.
(A psychological block I'm still trying to get over, as it's difficult for me to begin posting in any other boards including this one, but I'm going to get better at it)
Although I was definitely addicted, I can't say that I particularly 'enjoyed' /n/….
It wasn't fun….
It was only occasionally informative…..
And as much as I like Killcen as a person,
I'll be the first one to admit his special brand of redundant paranoid fear porn conspiracy theory bullshit really started to bore me…..
just-kiss-it never publicly announced it, but he also quit working for Jim a while back…. That's why he left and moved on, working on other projects….
Then I quit working for Jim the final time…
And that's when Jim pulled the plug on /n/
You can read whatever you want into that sequence of events… I personally don't really care anymore why Jim hired us in the first place.
'why' doesn't mean jack shit to me
All I know is: /n/ is dead
And I think that's a very positive thing
