Hey in a newfag and I'm trying to gain muscle and I've been doing this workout for the past few weeks and I just want to make sure I'm doing it right. There's not really a gymn near me so I've been training with adjustable dumbells I have at home. And what I've been doing is reverse pyramid training where I start with larger weight and less reps and work my way down with smaller weights with more reps.Im currently 5'9 and weigh 120lbs
Here is my workout routine:
45lb dumbell curls 15 reps
Then work my way down to 15 lbs increase 1 rep everytime
Then starting again at 45 I do 50 wrist curls with same process work my way down increasing a rep everytime down to 15lbs
Then i do one arm dumbell chest press with the 45lbs at 21 reps same process work my way down increase 1 rep everytime to 15lbs
Daily I have increased the number of reps to push myself until I am ready for bigger weights. I just want to make sure this is a viable routine and that it will help me make progress
