I simply love training, the idea of improving your physical aptitudes by slowly working on them daily is one of my favorite things about life. One of the things I try to keep always in my training is the ability to adapt to any situation and equipment, always train with what you have, don't be limited by anything.

Word to live by.

I kinda pity the people that don't even try, you have a body, so use it.

OP here, totally agree, as someone said in a pnd thread: a healthy mind can only exist in a healthy body.

I just can't get enough of that feeling of breaking through a mental barrier, doing one more rep where the last time it felt absolutely impossible, going with heavier weight, running for longer, etc

Training is fucking amazing my dudes, watching yourself fall away and a greater being be born by the work of your own hands? There's nothing quite like it.

OP, you should pick yourself up a copy of this epic book about shaolin training techniques and expand what you think is possible: http://www.kungfulibrary.com/shaolin-kung-fu-4.htm

Nice try, beta boy, but even face gains are possible, you've limited yourself so much you seek to limit other people, very sad, uncool.

Go out and think about why you want to tear other people down, fix that, and go make some gains dude, there's no point in being a sadsack like that.

Agreed. I think the best and most satisfying form of superiority is being superior to your former self. It's amazing waking up and doing something you've never dreamed of being able to do a few years ago, being more flexible and stronger than you imagined you could be. Sleeping and waking up better and being more and more proud when you look at yourself in the mirror before a shower.

I love training, too. Nothing like making strides and getting stronger.

Since we're on the subject, I'll share a recent joy. I've been lifting for around 15 years, but I've got a lot of weird hip/leg issues (from birth, had surgery as a kid) I've had to accommodate so only in the last year have I really perfected my squat form. Like finally got that shit where everything's going exactly how it should, heels on the ground, knees not going in, no butt winking, all that stuff. It took years of daily stretching and doing other movements to strengthen/lengthen the tendons in certain areas and even going to physical therapy but I finally am doing it. My legs and ass have never been better. Going to the gym tomorrow for squat day and I'm so excited.
