I have like 15 kilos of dried bagged lentils in my cabinet and I'm not sure what to do with them.

Whenever I try to cook lentils they turn into a soggy mush. They taste like nothing and half of it sticks to the pan and it turns into a caked-on mess that's a pain to clean.

I put canned lentils into chili sometimes and they turn out fine, so I was thinking about doing that with the dried stuff but I'm not sure how it would turn out.

Also lentils are generally not to estrenogenic as far as legumes go right? everything else seems to kick ass as far as macros and vitamins go per cost.

I boil mine, time depends upon the type you have. Google for appropriate times. If they turn to mush you've gone too long, tough and chewy not long enough. Takes a bit of practice.

Drain. Season. Try taco/tex-mex seasoning, packets do just fine. Follow the directions.

There's a number of guides out there for different seasonings. Treat them like beans, imho, add them in similar situations.

A+ food. Inexpensive, durable, great numbers.

Bring a substantial amount of water to boil. Add lentils and stir for 1 minute.

Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Simmer means lower heat slightly and let steam while covered.

If you have that many i would suggest buying a ton of rice and always eating them together for the complete proteins.

You will have to find a lot of ways to cook them so u dont get sick of them.

Add gamey ground meat to it for pleasure

The linguicinha is going to be cooked. What's your IQ? No one eats raw sausage around here. We cook linguiça da borrusia in an open flame, it's a part of churrasco. The linguicinha is very good in food like lentils and beans, since it adds some heavy taste in the rather shy food and also some spiciness sometimes. What are you thinking?

A recipe, OP. I never tried, but I suppose this doesn't exist in english so translating might give you some insights. This is done with a pressure pot, but you can do with a normal one, I think.

Cook 3tsp. Olive oil in high heat and put in 3 chopped garlic cloves, 2 bay or laurel leaves, 3tsp. chopped parsley and the 250g chopped linguicinha for 5 minutes or until golden. Add the 300g lentil and 1liter boiling water and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix, then cover the pot and cook under pressure for 10 minutes in a medium heat, until boiling and "hissing". Wait for 5 minutes for the pressure to be freed.

meat and fish and other animal products, like milk and eggs all have way more estrogen (animal estrogen) than beans or lentils which have (phyto PLANT estrogen). I never grew tits from eating lentils but every fat fuck with manboobs eats burgers and pizza and shit
