Currently I tend to have a lot of free time from 9am to 10:30am where I'm not doing much and usually just on the internet, I'd like to use this time to exercise since I get home kinda late. I've just been doing push ups and situp's for the past 2 days but those get pretty repetitive and I'm pretty sure they don't do much unless you do like 200 of each. (I haven't brought any equipment yet).
- I can't leave and I need to be able to drop everything at a moments notice in case I need to answer the phone or do other stuff.
-And large equipment would probably get annoying and look unsightly, I'm thinking dumbells are the biggest thing I should use since theres a good spot I can put them.
what would be a good routine to work around this? I'm used to having access to my roommates benchpress and full body workout machine so I've never really cared much for routine. But a lack of equipment makes me think its more important. I've got a lot of money right now so expensive equipment isn't a problem. We also have a shower which is nice even though it looks like a gas chamber.

If you're something akin to your own boss or at least have enough free reign where it is impossible to get in trouble for safety reasons or looking like you're goofing off, Olympic rings seem very practical. They are portable and easy to put away. The only problem is finding a sturdy place to hang them.

Gymnastics/calisthenics, neck training, grip training and explosive movements.
High repetitions are very important. You're not fit if you can't do high repetitions of basic calisthenics – the strength based movements are good (gymnastics) but try to actually become fit. Explosive movements are much different qualitatively from other movements or isometrics, they develop the bones, nerves and tendons quite well. Much better hormonal response too.
For grip, use a cheap girl db, 5 - 8 lbs or something with an end you can grab onto and won't break under extreme abuse (rubber coated steel or something) – balance on the ends of them when doing push ups, L-sits, reverse pseudo planche push ups, hand stands against the wall, etc. Somewhat rounded ends are better for this. If you are worried about your wrists breaking, then you have weak wrists, go gradually. Besides that you can grip it normally; in the middle; and try to hold yourself up (push up position, etc) with one side of the db off the ground, like you're tilting it off the ground and holding yourself up from there. You can do this both ways, build up the sides of the wrists and forearms. Another thing, roll your wrists around, back and forth, side to side, while in push up or knee push up position. After a while you can do push ups on your wrists. The last suggestion I have is to take a DB gripped normally and do nunchuck small and big figure eights. Small ones just use your wrist and arm pretty much, big ones go from side to side of the body, and use the whole body. This ties in explosive movements, grip training, and upper body training all in one. Remember to do both over and under versions. The 5 - 8 lb db can be used for this, and you'll outgrow it in a month or three. Make your rotations smooth, powerful and fast.

It will be difficult to really lift heavy in your office, you probably don’t want to bring in a barbell with weights as well and I don’t think slamming deadlifts would come across too well. It may therefore make sense to exercise both at the gym and at the office, using the gym to lift heavy and the office to get in the volume. For example 1-2 days at the gym and 2-3 days exercising at the office.
In terms of equipment dumbbells are certainly a good idea, plus elastic bands, a pull up bar if you can mount it somewhere and a yoga mat.
You can press lying on the floor or sitting in a chair to hit your pecs and anterior delts, do side rises for the medial delts, do elastic band face pulls for your rear delts. Pull ups and one armed rows for the back, bulgarian split squats and lunges for legs, bodyweight abs exercises etc

You could try amping up your bodyweight routine. Maybe try working up to some one-arm pushups. There's a few bodyweight routines in one of the stickies that go over some progressions. If you have a decent chinup bar, you can try doing stuff like hanging leg lifts, instead of doing situps, or you could get an abwheel.

Get some dumbbells and a few weights so you can amp up your exercises. Sit ups can be weighted this way. The dumbbells allow for a high variety of exercises that can work various muscles from the shoulder, upper arms, forearms, chest and back. For cardio, you can try the jumping jacks. Jumping rope can work too.

Yes, I have met a few and some of them were very qt. I’ve lived in a few different places so I have met a lot of people overall though. Obviously there’s still a fair bit of idealization in there, but I guess everyone does that to an extent.
