YouTube embed. Click thumbnail to play. 1. A carport, garage, basement, or even dirt (as long as it stays level and dry).
2. A barbell with bumper plates.
3. Olympic rings.
You don't need dumbbells. A barbell is a dumbbell. (See embed related.)
You don't need a rack. You are the rack. Clean that weight up. If you're too tired to clean front squat-worthy weight, do lunges or hack squats for quads instead.
You don't need a bench for impressive pecs. That's what the rings are for. Don't knock it until you try it.

I have to use a bench press because I injured my back doing deadlifts two years ago now I can't do anything that puts strain on it.
Otherwise good.

Why use a real bench when you can use an invisible bench standing up?

HOMEGYM THREAD?
I am trying to get started, but all I have right now is about 250$ flexible spending
I currently have:
>Mirror
>Dumbbells - 80lbs of plates
>Treadmill
>Jump rope
>Pull-up bar (obscolete)
>Resistance bands
Jewbook Marketplace apparently doesn't like my town, AT ALL, and available space is a big concern for me.
I was thinking of a foldable bench with a couple of stands, a 100lb plate set (CAP brand, comes with bullshit barbell), and maybe some mats and/or rubber pads.
How fucking stupid do I sound at the moment? How do I not?

dont be a bitch. i saved up for like half a year to buy:
>power cage: 300
>flat bench: 100
>barbell: 300
>plates: 300 ish i think
then i got rid of my bed to make room for it and i sleep on the floor now. dont waste time looking for deals on craigslist or anywhere else because reselling kikes just take all the deals. don't waste money on shit equipment either, buy decent stuff so you don't have to buy twice when you realize you cant do shit with your one inch plates.
home gym masterrace.

i put that kind of investment into my diet. you probably have a career going on, i don't bud. i just bought a bench, im moving some clothes around atm to make room for putting it together. my biggest concern atm is having 80 lbs of plates that probably won't fit on a standard barbell. that kind of hurts my soul.
would you recommend creating my own, like pic related or something else, or buying used? i'm aware not to buy for more than $0.50 a pound, right?

"rings"
Otherwise bretty good. Hack lift and Steinborn are good options for quads as well. Floor press instead of bench.
You don't NEED bumpers. Iron will work, just lower them.

Installing pull up bars at home is no easy task unless you own your entire place.

Going through all that effort and making the hole a standard size and not oly bar sized. Not a bad idea really. If you have an angle grinder, you can use scrap metal instead of the metal screen.
