>هذا الوضع، خلق أزمة لدى قطاع لا بأس به من المسيحيين (وهو محق للغاية ومهم فهمه بدلاً من إدانته)، ومفاده: "لماذا يتسع قلب وروح وعقل المصريين في غالبيتهم لكل وافد عربي، ويقبلون على مساعدته والتعامل معه بكل حب وود، بل وتفاخر. بينما يضيق صدر نسبة كبيرة منهم كل الضيق، تجاه مواطن مصري فقط لأن دينه ليس مسلم، والبعض ربما يشتري من العربي لأنه "مسلم وأولى" من ذلك المسيحي، رغم أنه مصري ربما أكثر من البقية". يضاف لهذا، الخشية من تجنيس هؤلاء، وهو ما يعني تحول المسيحي المصري لأقلية صغيرة، ووفق منطق "الحقوق المرتبطة بالعدد ستتراجع حقوقه المتراجعة أصلاً".
