This is an imageboard for discussion relating to the .hack/dot Hack animes, mangas, and games.

>why does this exist?

Because having the .hack community all condensed and centralized into one part of the internet is a bullshit idea, also we didn't like the state of the community currently. Currently this board on 8kun is nothing more than a test run of our ideas to see whether dishing out for own server(s) is worth it or not.

>why an IB instead of a traditional forum?

Because traditional forums create a culture around egos, we wanted something that removed a user's identity in order to encourage fruitful and productive discussion around .hack for all users.

Board Rules

1. This is a clean board, get the fuck out with your shitty doujins/eroge/hentai that barely represent the characters, this is no place for cunnyposting/shotaposting. Don't ERP here either. You have many other boards for that.

2. We do not care about your identity politics, or other politics of any kind. This is a discussion board for a (mostly dead) franchise, keep on topic.

3. This is not a hugbox, it's a .hack discussion. Avatarfagging/namefagging/tripfagging is fine to a degree, but don't turn this into a circlejerk board.

4. No dumping of any ISOs or pirated content regarding the .hack games. We're not interested in having Bandai-Namco shut down an imageboard on a Mongolian underwater basket weaving forum because of some random neckbeard posting a download to one of the .hack//IMOQ games.

5. If you don't like it here, you are not obligated to lurk or post here. We don't care to hear you complain about how we operate the imageboard.
