I think that incels and the supposed alt-right are perceived as much more of a threat than other terrorist groups, because of how antithetical they are to societies' moral assumptions and guidelines. Everybody parrots that people are inherently peaceful friendly and good, and that we should accept and understand other cultures. So when someone inspired by the homophobic, sexist and antisemitic doctrine of Islam commits an act of terror, we all accept that he was misled by a different culture, but nonetheless all Muslims are inherently good.
The reality is that incels, the alt-right and muslims have individual, but similarly antithetical, viewpoints to those of society. In fact all different political movements / cultures have different moral compasses and structures to each other; if they agreed on everything then they wouldn't be different.
But back to incels. I think that there is such targeted hate at them because they are representative of a flaw within our society. Not sure about others, but I always judge my own flaws more critically than those of others, and I hate when someone points out a flaw of mine. I think the same is true of society.
