I just want to add that now 3 years later I simply don't give a fuck. My new company has "honesty" in their values and I am honest. And they hate me and the only reason they won't fire me is they are so critically understaffed they literally cannot. I leave in two weaks anyway because I earn way more than I'm able to spend with my shut-in life style when nothing material brings joy anymore so money beyond basic needs are pointless (savings are even more pointless when real inflation rate on common goods is like 20% despite officially it is 2.5% or something but I know basic math so these lies don't really work for me; also housing prices are so ridiculous that I would have to save even my very above average wage for like 100 hundred years just to buy one room flat so fuck this gay world).

I loved working in an office, I did unpaid extra hours just for the fun of it, when there was no more work in my department I went to the others to help then there, and I picked responsabilities way above my position without asking for wage adjustment. I actually started crying myself to sleep when I knew I was going to leave because of a mass firing in the lower positions.
I miss working in an office. Working for myself is not for someone as misguided and with low self steem as I am.
