A quick summary of politics in Vermont:

Something like 2/3 of the house of reps is from out of state. Democrats range from literal communists to libertarians who just want the state to leave people alone. Republicans are generally okay but a minority. The current governor was elected specifically because his platform was no new taxes or fees after the previous guy got shit for increasing both, and no gun control. His opponent's entire platform was "more gun control" in a state with 3 shooting deaths last year, all of which were done by felons from out of state.

He first alienated young voters by neutering weed legalization, then spent the past two years doing pretty much nothing except filling the seat and ignoring the whole visa scam thing. In the past two months, he committed political suicide by passing three ridiculous gun control bills that only serve to strip rights from the young adults he claims he's trying to keep from moving out the second they leave high school, send more business to New Hampshire, and piss off all the democrats and libertarians who voted for him specifically for less gun control. As if that wasn't enough, he's now saying to prepare for more taxes and fees, and talking about defunding some green energy bullshit.

Long story short, he's alienating every single person in the state. The only logical explanation is that he wants to quit but doesn't want to resign or decline running for re-election.

So far, the democratic candidates are a tranny and (hopefully) some guy named John Rodgers who's actually okay and pissing off all the retards in shittenden by telling them to go back to New York.

The republican candidates are Scott (lmao) and some libertarian guy named Keith Stern who's also an okay middle of the road guy who unfortunately probably wouldn't stand much of a chance next to a competent democrat.

Tyrell or whatever his name is is just a retarded attention whore who's spent the past two years desperately trying to force himself as an eceleb on imageboards.
